Our names are Mitch & Ely, and we are two best friends that decided to make a channel that is a hub for seekers of all kinds. While reflecting on our time in school, we found that we were being taught various subjects and topics, say wildlife ecology or business economics or philosophy, but were never properly taught how to be good learners. We have found that the path to true wisdom is a continual process of seeking, and not one specific learning. If you are a seeker, you can learn your whole life with great enthusiasm and share that knowledge with those around you. Our channel is called Learn With Us: created by seekers, for seekers. In our videos, we find content that is worth your time and learn from it with you. Take a seat, open your mind, and get ready to enjoy the process of learning with us!

Shiva fascinates me. I remember reading about him during the Story of Churning Of Ocean when he drank poison to save the universe. You should look into that story. They say that the mountain he resides in (Mt. Kailash) has still not been climbed by modern humans. Locals even say the have seen Shiva. The greatest power in existence is Shiva. Shiva means nothingness. Nothingness is the basis of everything.

Even though humans are highly intellectual for grasping Shiva we would need a special sensory organ.😱 Nothingness is also somethingness because ego drives us to declare something as something. My limit to grasp Shiva as the remainder of nothingness, " if you take out nothingness from nothingness the remaining will also be nothingness". In short, consciousness is beyond grasping or experiencing. We don't require experience to inhale and exhale continuously it is as it is. So the divine reveals to great yogis as it is and yogis also perceive them just like breathing as simply as it is.

Haha, Shiva was never stated to be dead. He had these beings along with him called Ganas. These weren't human, dunno what they were. Only Shiva could communicate with them in a strange language. No one else could understand them, Shiva had human friends, human wife but his most immediate company was always these beings. It's said that he used to come and go from Earth to somewhere else. These beings would go alongside him. We dont know how Shiva was born, who his parents were, nothing about childhood, just he came, taught spirituality, lived here for a while and disappeared. His abode was Mount Kailash, presently in China or rather Tibet. That mountain itself is mysterious, all surrounding mountains look alike and this stands out. There's speculation that it may be a meteor.

I guess that’s how jesus walked on water, they have some control over elements. Not like how we see it in xmen. Must be incomprehensible to binary logic. To be honest guys you haven't even scratched the surface till now...I am Sanatan Dharma follower and I still do not consider myself that I have gain even 5% knowledge of Hinduism.....after knowing so much from the beginning.....to know Shiva..you should watch some videos on him understand him at both body and mind level....Shiva and Shankar are different.....
Now another thing understand Sanatan Dharma in depth first.... timelines here are absolutely different... Google and Wikipedia will give you knowledge from a western prospective....cause it's to controversial for them to understand it....it a western creation hence they will never show the true picture....I'm not blaming it but it's fine what they think as it's their perspective.....we being a Sanatan Dharma follower knows that there is no beginning of this religion and no end it's an eternal religion....and that's what it means. I will suggest you please understand Hinduism first watch different videos on it.... understand in depth then you will be able to join the dots of Sadhguru's points or any other video....
Also just to add on here India have been invaded multiple times by different rulers....and 97% of the knowledge books, libraries, temples were completely destroyed burnt by the invaders....what we left with is just 3% of knowledge but that is still enough to wake the World....now imagine the other 97% knowledge...so think from that perspective....
Nobody has the knowledge when Sanatan Dharma started....cause we have 4 yugas (Ages)....I guess u learn them then get to other videos.....

There are many spiritual beings/Yogis who know about their past life but don't openly talk about it. The reason being, people won't understand and believe it because it's that complex. You see, certain things have no logical explanation. They can only be experienced. But what does society wants? Logical explanations. Hence, the reason why they kept quiet. You have to experience it to know it.

To answer your first question: Where does Sadhguru gets all such information from?
Answer: He has seen it all. Once you reach to that level of state of mind (Cosmic consciousness), you will see it all, past present and future.
And Remember he has accumulated knowledge of all his previous lives. all your previous lives are stored in your subconscious mind. You should be able to access it with particular skills.
Buddha explained to their disciples about all his previous lives like all his Human lives, then animal lives to insects and till Ameva. Start of the single cell life.

Mitch, Sadhguru gets his information from what he called “inner-net.” There’s what is called as ether or Akashic mind, a universal mind, where all the information of the universe is stored. Sadhguru explain that he doesn’t have to store the information in his mind, he just access them like we access information on google if we want to know something. It could be more complex than that but that’s his explanation. Also in his autobiography, “Sadhguru: More than a Life,” written by one of his close disciples, he mentioned that he can access information from people minds. Even when he’s traveling in the plane. So the dude has got a whole lot of stuff going on with him. He’s definitely not what we think he’s. He even admitted in his book “Death: an Inside Story” that he’s no longer alive in human terms, he dead but we can’t see that because we don’t have the perception to. Anyway, deep, deep mystical stuff going on there.

Shiva is a Father, Shiva is a Mother, Shiva is Teacher, Shiva is animal, Shiva is Bird, Shiva is insect, Shiva is mountain, Shiva is Fire, Shiva is Air, Shiva is Sky (Cosmos) Shiva is Earth, everything comes from shiva and again go's back to Shiva. I first visited Isha ashram coimbatore 4 years back to attend inner engineering program. That time had the opportunity to sit in the sphere of dhyanalinga. But I couldn't experience much. After the the inner engineering program which transformed my life completely, I visited several times to ashram with my parents and to attend advanced programs. So when I attended after doing my inner engineering practices for a while I could experience what Sadhguru was talking about. I sat there at the sphere of Dhyanalinga, was planning to come out after 15 mins. After sometimes my mind became still and empty no chatter..started loosing my sense of body. When I opened my eyes more than one hour had passed. I didn't realise the time!..I realised if we are sensitive to that possibility it can take us to deeper states of meditation. If we sit there as a psychological mess..nothing will happen to us. The Yoga programs offered by Sadhguru can greatly enhance the sensitivity towards life. I am always grateful for that❤🙏 . We can never understand this by our limited logic!

In india we have this process of consecration of various forms and it varies right from households to big temples.....for eg. We have a festival of Ganesh Chaturthi (Ganesh is referred to as deity of knowledge and wisdom, also known as son of shiva). In this festival an idol is brought to every house who wish to host, we do a consecration of that idol, sing, dance, offer food and sweets, and after 10 days we immerse the idol in the water.....so even this kind of consecration happens in our culture....what Sadhguru has consecrated is for a different purpose.....this is our kind of spiritual science.....people can dump it as pseudoscience but this culture always transmitted this science like this without any evidence......it's a felt truth and experiential science .....just a point of view

Omg.. I kept laughing throughout.. This was delightful to watch! Loved it..
    1. 6:05 - Sadhguru means an uneducated Guru or one who knows from within. He says he is 100% spiritually uneducated. "You don’t have to go about searching the whole cosmos to know the mysteries of the universe. If you look inward and know this piece of life from A to Z, you know life in every possible way."
Apart from being enlightened, Sadhguru also has mastery over different aspects of life (which is why he is also referred to as a mystic). That might explain how he accesses these dimensions of knowledge. He jokes and says that yogis have an internet-type system through which they learn about everything that is going on in yogic world.
    2. 14:55 - It's not that there is a perfect energy body and Shiva held it; he was a perfect being in a sense. He is also known as Adiguru (the first guru) and Adiyogi (the first yogi) because he was the one who made real the possibility of spiritual evolution for humans. For more on Shiva, watch - 'Who is Shiva and why does he matter?' and 'Are Shiva and Adiyogi the same?'
So, Sunira's project was to create a perfect human being with a long lifespan and let it loose in the world as a guru (and I guess one would start this by creating an energy body.) But the line of yogis that Sadhguru comes from felt it would be much more effective if this perfect being was not a human (for a number of reasons). Which is why Sadhguru consecrated the Dhyanalinga stone. It has the energy body of the perfect being but not the physical body of a human being. So, it does everything its meant to do without having to deal with the limitations of a body. (There must be more to yogis' reasons for wanting to make a perfect being when there are gurus already.)
I can't wait for you guys to visit the Dhyanalinga!
    3. 29:40 - Shiva Yogi received enlightenment from his guru Palani Swamy. He had done heartbreaking sadhana for two lifetimes without achieving realization/enlightenment. He was given the final push by his Guru. With that, he was also given the mission of Dhyanalinga (probably because he saw Shiva Yogi as being competent and committed.)
    4. 40:17 - The purpose of a guru is to help human beings realize their highest potential and live fullest lives. The possibilities for a human being are endless. This sets the human apart from other creatures because their possibilities are defined. So the kind of human mastery that the Dhyanalinga represents is significant because of its relevance to humans and not the universe. Sadhguru says the universe is a phenomenon beyond meaning.
This is all just my humble understanding of what I've heard Sadhguru say.

The perfect teacher isn't a human because the body is designed to decay and pass on. The Dhyanalinga IS the perfect teacher because its body is fixed in place for all time, even if the Earth were destroyed. It isn't just some rock they carved. It is alive, though not in the sense that we silly humans understand. It vibrates on a certain level, and in its presence, it'll allow ANYONE to become meditative easily, even if you're new or never meditated before. That's how the seed gets planted, though an Inner Engineering class is also a great way to start if you can't get to the Dhyanalinga.
Don't believe or disbelieve anything that Sadhguru says. "Until it is a living experience for you, it is just a story." -Sadhguru
If it is not in your experience, it's okay to simply listen openly and say I don't know. The point of seeking is because we understand that we don't know, but we want to see things as they are without prejudice or bias. Believing or disbelieving introduces bias. Seek. Do Inner Engineering and react to that.

Guys there are no stories of shiva’s birth, childhood or death. And sadhguru in one of his videos has said that shiva along with his disembodied beings (friends) is still visiting the earth and going back somewhere unknown. But not in a physical form. If you need to know more on it then you can react on sadhguru on shiva. And also guys shiva is actually a real big mystery. And sadhguru also said that whatever he becomes now is because “shiva invaded his life in a way that he takes his life but gives him something more significant”. Shiva is a real big topic u may need to react on multiple sadhguru videos on him just to have a proper idea of shiva. But it’s all about how u perceive it as sadhguru says.

First of all, this reaction came on a very special day ,it being the 22nd anniversary of the Dhyanalinga. And you intended it to be that way ( a nice touch !)... Just a few things ,one of which is the honesty that you two display in your reactions. This was a particularly difficult video to react for obvious reasons. And to be honest I wouldn't have wanted you to go for this reaction at this present moment, for the simple reason that DHYANALINGA is a phenomena that is to be experienced first. But it's natural that you succumbed to the demands of so many ( Over enthusiastic) people on here. 😛... But at no point during the reaction you were trying to falsely portray that you have grasped what this was all about. Mitch was like " What should we say to all of this ". 😂... This was so refreshing to see and just elevated ur authenticity a notch higher..... Now, personally having sat in front of Dhyanalinga and having a taste of what it is , I would just like to offer a few suggestions, if you'd let me :-
    1. I know both of you like listening to other's perceptions and opinions ( which is indeed praiseworthy) but in this case I would highly advice you to refrain from accumulating too much information about Dhyanalinga.. Because, one ,no words can do justice to it , second, the experience of Dhyanalinga is extremely subjective in nature but most importantly, having too much knowhow of it from all kinds of sources can naturally lead you to form second hand perceptions and expectations which can seriously hinder you from experiencing Dhyanalinga for what it really is. And it would be a misfortune if that happens.
    2. Both of you seem to have experienced Sadhguru's grace and immensity in one way or the other (Sadhguru is Mitch's dream buddy after all 😇) , AND it's a fact that whatever Sadhguru has been or is currently doing right now, transforming humanity, all the phenomenal work for the environment, IT IS JUST a byproduct of his physical existence. Sadhguru's main contribution for humanity is Dhyanalinga. He took this very birth for the sole reason to consecrate it...So you can imagine what you are dealing with here. 😇
    3. I can understand that it's not easy to keep your curiosity about Dhyanalinga quiet, and it being far away from you now, brothers, if at all you want to immerse yourself in a proper account of Dhyanalinga's origins and also SADHGURU's past lives(and what all it took him to consecrate), I would suggest this biography of SADHGURU - " More than a life" written by the amazing author and poet Arundhati Subramanium . It's a lucidly written account from a seeker's point of view too.
    4. Do yourself a favour, and just come sit in front of Dhyanalinga...ASAP 😛..
    THANK YOU.
    P. S. - You two must really love me to have read this far. 😂

I knew you would be fascinated by shiva ... the more you hear about him .. the more in awe you are left with ..shiva as a yogi .. he is the ultimate man (he is the epitome of the yogic essence ).. he is the idol man (the one with balance of both masculine and feminine i mean ardhnareshwar is a form of shiva in which half of his body is depicted as male and other half as female these dipict the perfect balanceof both energy) .. the one who is absolutely terrifying (he is said to be a detached being who rubs ashes of cremation over his body .. who is sorrounded by bhoot and ganas which are the sprit of the dead and ghosts and beasts like beings) .. yet the one who is breathtaking beautiful .. one who is capable of destroying the reality you believe in shaking you through the core ...
You guys .. i love you videos so much.. its almost as if i am part of your discussions everytime you discuss things over .. you adding you experiences in it just makes it even more amazing to me ..

    Just try to reflect:
Three big thoughts you were left with -
    1. Who is Shiva?
    2. Damn! I DON'T KNOW anything anymore about it
    3. It is for certain that Sadhguru knows something that is beyond our perception currently.
I have so many things to write about Dhyanalinga experience, who is Shiva, what does the word dhyanalinga mean.. But it boils down to.. This is too limited to say it in comments. I wish I could speak to you guys one on one about all this.
Anyways.. I have been to Dhyanalinga multiple times. Before I share, I must say that it is my experience and yours will depend on your openess totally and I wish to set no expectations for anyone. So..Being in the sphere has been very different each time I went there. First time it was more like 'okay! Its a very quiet and meditative space, but what else?'. I was not ready physically and mentally to imbibe what it has to offer. In the next few visits, I was able to sit there unmoving and thoughtless for about 45 minutes or so.. Felt too high and soaked in grace. These visits were after couple of years of regular preparation of the body through yogic practices.
I remember vividly March 2018, I had the fortune of being part of an 8 day silence program called samyama.. After that I had 4-5 more days to be in the ashram, and everyday without fail I spent maximum time not speaking, doing some volunteering activity, walking barefoot, sitting in linga bhairavi temple or dhyanalinga temple or attending divyadarshan of adiyogi statue.
These few visits to dhaynalinga temple left a deep impact within me that even today I am fortunate to be able to be in its presence when my seeking becomes very intense. What I experienced can only be labeled as madness or illusions if one has not experienced it themselves. I sat for good 1.5-2 hours each time I went to sit in the temple. No thoughts.. No disturbance, unimaginable level of devotion towards the dhyanalinga as if I should be just one with it or I simply Sieze to exist.. I chose latter... I am choosing to not say one particular ( very significant for me) thing because it is very highly possible that it will create an expectation or notion of the same thing happening to the reader and it will take away their opportunity of being in the grace as they might start imagining or seeking what I experienced.
It has been driving me to seek till date and I know one thing that I have a long way to go before I reach what I seek.
I am copying the dhyanalinga experience in the comment you had posted.
Much love and grace to both of you.

Regarding Dhyanalinga, give this a read.. In sadhguru's own words
      "
“Dhyana” in Sanskrit means meditation and “linga” means the form. Dhyanalinga is a profound meditative space that does not ascribe to any particular belief or faith, and requires no ritual, prayer or worship. A powerful and unique energy form, Dhyanalinga is a doorway to enlightenment and spiritual liberation. In the metaphysical sense, Dhyanalinga is a guru, offering spiritual seekers the opportunity to do spiritual practices in the utmost intimacy of a live guru, something traditionally available only to a few...."

To know more about Shiva, there are couple of recommendations from Sadhguru's videos:
      1. th-cam.com/video/7jpWtFJ-uvk/w-d-xo.html
      2. th-cam.com/video/w2Qr6P-_3Qk/w-d-xo.html
The reason I have shared Sadhguru's videos is because his explanations come from yogic point of view, and not just mere belief systems or cultural standpoint.
Culturally, there are countless Lores about Shiva as a god/godly existence. If one goes on to deep dive into those, it will be lifetime before you decipher all of them. These things about various mythologies are more like stories, but if one has the eye and perception to know where that comes from or leads to.. Much like a code.. For the right seeker these stories will start yielding different understanding/knowing of the perception these story tellers (our rishis/sages) had and wished to share.

Thank you for sharing and welcome on the path that leads to understand the things as the are... I also felt once the presence of Lord Shiva when I was in Kedanath and Badrinath... Before I was not open to all sorts of things that my intellect wouldn´t allow me to be real... after taht, I didn´t doubt anything, but examinate ... after I went down from Himalaya, I steped totally by accident to the Kumba Mela in Haridwar and Rishikesh... I found myself in a crowd of 6 mio people and me as a women white also, it was very hard to come near to Shiva Yogis, but they allowed me at the outer circle at least and as a gift to me life a compassionate Yogi brought me my first holy smoke... after all this happen I took my first chance to stay without any money or wealth for nearly one year in the woods... on one of the canarian island... all this from the energy that Lord Shiva brought to me as the first step on bringing my earching results onto earth... as a women I´m very intersseted in karma yoga... in sharing with vunarable ones.. in serving ... the absence of thinking is helpfull and priceless, but not the aim... sorry for my english (german is my motherlanguage) blessings (:)

Bharat is an ancient civilization having Hinduism as dharma which has Sanskrit and tamil as very very ancient languages. Indians have Sanskrit scriptures ie. Four Vedas it contains all kinds of deep knowledge about anything and everything. Only yogis and rishis are capable to learn and teach it correctly to common citizens.

Most of us on the spiritual path r here coz, we have already started the journey long before this life time . And those who r reconnect to the Knowledge ,most of the time r born again with their Guru to whom they r connected to earlier. That's the reason why we feel familiar to them and have that instant connect. This is a process which take a few life time. 😀 My Guru says, for yogis leaving their body and coming back is like " going to sleep and getting up in the morning"! 😀 Ofcourse only in a different body.

Thought I had already posted this but I guess not. So here it goes again
When I fist started this journey, I had similar reactions to all of this, like yours. I went on a quest to see if there were any consistencies behind these messages. I found out that there was, from Sadhguru to Parmahansa Yogananda and the Giri lineage to Neem Karoli Baba to LokeNath Baba, Osho, Sri M and a lot of others. So the goal was the same but there were different ways to get there like Kriya Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karm Yoga, Raj Yoga, etc. This increased my appetite for seeking even more, now knowing that the message is consistent and that I am on the right path.
Some on here have already provided you with the meaning of Dhyanlinga so I will skip that. However some mentioned that Shiva was also presumed to be alien by some. I had come across this earlier as well. I then stumbled upon a documentary on either Netflix or Prime called "First Contact". The documentary is about a group of people that telepathically communicate with someone from outside this planet and they call him "Bashar". To my surprise the messages they get back are very similar to what Shiva taught thousands of years back. I don't know if that is just coincidence or something to it. But when you walk this journey, things just start unfolding themselves.
By the way loved the Osho stare from Ely. I don't think it would enlighten anyone but might put some females on a trace trip. Much love, keep seeking and I hope you find what you are looking for. Here is the link to the trailer of the documentary mentioned above: th-cam.com/video/B4QD0xjCvzk/w-d-xo.html

I can tell from my own experience, life is beyond limits. I am not a spiritual person nor I am into religion, but I have experienced this ....It's all about immense energy, energy not as in what we know physically or as in text. It's has no end and no start point, today I firmly believe that this is SHIVA!!! I cannot explain in words what I felt and saw, it was in my bed and in my own room , I did not go anywhere or even think of it. It's about CALLING, you will feel when your time comes.
I still live same life , but now I know, I just KNOW. I know that this my last birth and I have to be one with the energy after I am done here . Har Har Mahadev meaning every small atom every energy has SHIV in it.

Shiva was able to hold it cause he wasn't human. The Shiva Purana (Ancient History of Shiva) clearly mentions he wasn't human. He could take the form of a human but he wasn't one to begin with. Sadhguru also explains this in some video, i dunno. Also Shiva existed 75,000 years ago according to Sadhguru, there are constellations mentioned in the same text by which astronomers can calculate how long ago these existed. Its approximately 75,000.

Yogis could leave their bodies out of their own free will. In Hinduism , it is called Samadhi. There have been many rishis, who when they took samadhi, their disciples buried them alive when they sat in a dhyan mudra.. a state of meditation. Only recently a skeleton was dug out by archeologists when the skeleton was in a sitting position. Yes, it is possible.

Ok about Shiva, this comes in 4 flavours (which i kindaa interpret with my limited knowledge) ...
      1. Shiva or Mahadeva or Bholenath and many many names. One of the supreme god from the trinity. A mythological figure for few but a powerful mystical god for bhakts (devotees). His is the god of distruction to make way for other 2 god for creation and cultivation in a cycle of ages. (Bhakti yoga)
      2. Shiva the Adi yogi, a mystic being who gave teachings of yoga and mysticism etc. (Raja yoga)
      3. Shiva as conciseness, emptiness, nothingness or shoonya (means zero) yet omnipresent omnipotent omniscient. A concept in advaita vedant, sankhya and other philosophies discussing existencal realities. (Nyana yoga)
      4. Shiva the nata-raja (king of dance or the actor) worshipped and celebrated by artists of music, dance, drama. CERN lab too has placed a statue of nata raja (dancing shiva) symbolises the dance of macro cosm and micro cosm. (Karma Yoga)

Did you know that 'dhyan' became 'chan' in China. And 'chan' became 'zen'. The concept of zen was introduced to eastern Asia by a king turned sage named 'bodhidharma' who taught kalaripayatyu to the Chinese. Present day kung-fu is derived from the above mentioned martial art. Meditation was introduced to the eastern Asia by bodhidharma's predecessor named bodhibhadra.
