Your tip counts for everything and especially for lacquering. If you're gonna do any lacquer at all, make sure that your work area/room is 100% dust free. A single piece of dust on the wet lacquer means redoing your entire piece. Not just removing the lacquer. No, you need to get all the paint and base coat(s) off as well or risk a much worse end result. I currently have to sand down through multiple layers of paint on a table I'm doing, because the newest layer I applied, started to peel off. It's not noticeable right now, unless you look for it, but since I'm going for a high gloss end finish, it would end up looking like painted over coffee stains on one end. Not good for a smooth, high gloss white tabletop for my brothers height adjustable gaming table. You either remove your bust or watch your work turn to dust.
Your talent and experience with weathering shows so well. Looks freaking amazing dude! Would love to see more builds like this going forward (as time allows of course)

Absolutely amazing build! I love seeing this creative side. I really hope you do more like these and just have fun with them :)
Very cool mod, like always. You should do this more often. Also, if you want more/bigger holes without opening the case to uncontrolled airflow, you could put a clear acrylic panel behind them.
CARC Spray Paint is used by the military... it is completely flat colors, designed to blend in... and honestly, if you are going for anything military like, this includes star wars, that is the paint you want... though... you probably don't need the chemical resistive properties of it.
Also... I would have placed red led's inside the side vents so it glows out your "exhaust" ports.
This build turned out AMAZING! I really think you should do more mods like that, not only weathered but all kinds of techniques you know, it really seems you enjoy doing it and I think lots of the viewers too (10K likes vs less than 200 dislikes...)
BTW, maybe try turn the RGB in the front red, ya know, 'cause Dark Side and stuff... but that's only optional, see what looks best 😁
