I stumbled across this last night and I have to say I highly enjoy your writing and look forward to more, thank you for sharing your talent. As an aside, before I read the description box I went to Audible looking for this book. Couldn't find it, came back and read the desc. box. You're really good, you should know that. I'm 64, been reading SF since I was 8 and thought I had missed a professional book release somehow. Subbed, love this story.
Thank you so much for this comment! I appreciate it. You can't even imagine how important such things are for me. Sometimes, it's really hard to continue working while not receiving any feedback, and yours is one the best that I can dream about. Especially if you consider that English is not even my first language ) I must be honest and provide some info. This Backwater Station series upload was probably the last time I used AI narration. I want to separate from all the automated AI channels as much as possible, so I started to narrate my stories myself (and re-narrate the old ones). I hope my thick accent won't ruin the experience with my stories for you too much. Thank you again!
@@nikhein I always prefer a human voice and in my experience the way one improves is simply to perform the action repeatedly. I am a glass artist and self-taught. It took me around 2 years of daily practice to be good enough to sell my work but then I sold what I made (lampwork beads) internationally for a decade and earned the income I had earned as a nurse which was my previous occupation. I wasn't particularly talented at glass but I loved it, I simply never gave up. Consistency is key, it's the most important ingredient in success. You narrate your stories and I will listen and so will others. I look forward to hearing more from you.
I forgot about battlestar Galactica remake when thinking about good space battle examples. That show had a unique original way of showing space combat. The 3 dimensional aspect was shown well and made space combat seem like it took place over great distances unlike star trek next gen battles that were had ships on a 2d plane facing each other but it was still top quality sci fi and a good while ago too. Babylon 5 showed combat in 3 d with ships mavouvreing all over I remember that looking good. Battlestar Galactica used to have moving camera angles that pointed at ships then zoomed in to give a sense of distance. I think that show used to zoom in to large ships and have them slightly off screen to give a sense of size.
cool story so far pretty intriguing :) you earned a new suscriber just for the fact that the story is not cheap AI stuff ! keep up the good work its appreciated! and yeah actual voice narration is better , Ai has a hard time figuring out intonations !
I realize that this is the end of the story (or I assume so since you put it out in this form as a 2nd year special), but…I either missed something, am not the sharpest knife in the drawer (I’m voting for this one), or the story was meant to be unresolved. I have no idea who did it.

Thank you! I think I'm going sideways with my intonations while narrating too, but at least I do that in more human way )))
GNOMES RULE !!!!!!

No, it's to be continued ) sorry for creating a mess )
@@nikhein Please! Create all the messes you want! I haven’t found anything on this channel that I don’t like.
Way way too many commercials. More commercials than audiobook.
get premium and stop complaining😊
I didn’t get ANY commercials and I don’t have premium. The gods of TH-cam are a fickle bunch.
The g.Y.T are the AI algorithms, irony their somewhere. Bathroom break run to the snack shack hang up some laundry you know filler stuff.
