Thanks for being one of the best channels on TH-cam (regardless of what any AI algorithm might say). Your channel and P. E. Rowe’s are the two I most look forward to new posts from. That’s no surprise. You are both excellent writers, only post your own excellent work, and read them yourselves as well. I will admit that your accent took a little getting used to, but I now find it you easy to listen to and the subtleties of meaning the human voice brings more than compensates. Combining that with the subtitles makes your presentation the best you can achieve. Thank you for all the thought and effort you put into the presentation of your work, but more importantly, THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENT WRITING!

i mentioned sonny burton aka bloody bookmarker , a very good new voice talent , might be willing to help if you split revenue on what he narrates. and you said what revenue lol. well i mentioned you to him and he sounded interested and asked me to get your info, id like to see this happen for the both of you, but i don't actually know or see contact info for either of you, I only ask if you would like help with your backlog or maybe some future works, to you find him. as for your accent once i listed for a while it is so authentic including the mistakes . that it has a sense of amazing accent acting. that said sonny burton is a really good using different voices for each character, and has a real sense of drama. cheers to you nick i like your channel - good luck

I had to move away from the AI narration as well. I'm not sure how much it is that it's boring and how much it is that people conflate AI narration and AI writing since a lot of the low effort channels use both. But either way, I you do well.

My #1 filter for AI drivel is the use of the word "palpable" - it is ALWAYS used and overused. Glad to know you are a real human being!

I stumbled across this last night and I have to say I highly enjoy your writing and look forward to more, thank you for sharing your talent. As an aside, before I read the description box I went to Audible looking for this book. Couldn't find it, came back and read the desc. box. You're really good, you should know that. I'm 64, been reading SF since I was 8 and thought I had missed a professional book release somehow. Subbed, love this story.

There were a bunch of hfy channels that did this, but the stories were garbage (unrealistic motivations / unrealistic outcomes for scenarios based on the input factors) and practically all the same basic premise (aggressors get outdone by people who want to cooperate.) I'm sure ai authoring will be powerful eventually, but from what I've seen so far, it's not very good.

I realize that this is the end of the story (or I assume so since you put it out in this form as a 2nd year special), but…I either missed something, am not the sharpest knife in the drawer (I’m voting for this one), or the story was meant to be unresolved. I have no idea who did it.

cool story so far pretty intriguing :) you earned a new suscriber just for the fact that the story is not cheap AI stuff ! keep up the good work its appreciated! and yeah actual voice narration is better , Ai has a hard time figuring out intonations !

Didn’t you read this already? Maybe you had the AI read it and you are replacing it with an actual living person reading, a person who just happens to be an excellent author?

Might it be that one of your central theme is existential dread in the face of inanimate objects behaving animately? I feel as if there are quite a few unexpectedly sentient-feeling things in your stories that seem to act with deliberation.

Just my five cents, not an attempt to start an argument. Actually I prefer AI narrated stories. Not just yours - in general. I stopped listening, when you stopped using AI voice. How about two versions to cater to both sides? BTW: most of your stories I listened to were really good.

I do not like AI narration. or writing. it sux. I came here by your shared subject story with PE Rowe. I was a little taken aback by your accent for a minute or two, but i liked the story and the narration was OK. As was the thumbnail art. I know of a great, but new and struggling narrator, he has done a great narration of the 1st two Red Rising series books and most of the third book, but SADLY its been months since he narrated a new chapter. If you can share a % of the revenue maybe he will do it. His name is Sonny Burton he goes by Bloody Book Marker here on you tube. Unfortunately he may be hard to reach, he has kind of disappeared. Check his work by searching " Red Rising Prologue. " ( actual link gets deleted ). He speaks perfect American English , but in this story he has an accent to fit the characters and good mix of voices for the many characters. In any case i hope to catch up with your work, but i will probably skip the AI narrations. Good Luck I think you can succeed!

I have enjoyed your work and agree the AI has not reached a level yet that it should have any showing never mind equal treatment and as such should be a separate listing …Hopefully you will not let this flood of poor offering of AI discourage you from continuing with what you enjoy .
