  • Simple and straight-to-the-point cocktail that lets the gin shine through. The question is, will you prefer Rose's Lime or fresh lime juice with simple syrup?
    INGREDIENTS
    2 1/2 oz Gin
    1 oz Rose's Lime
    or
    1/2 oz Lime Juice
    1/2 oz Simple Syrup
    GARNISH
    Lime
    METHOD
Shake over ice until chilled. Strain into Martini glass. Garnish with lime.

I don't like sweet drinks, but the 1:1 roses gimlet is in my top 3 drinks.

Now that was not what I would have thought as a clubbing drink. Did it do the job? 😀

I will try the gimlet made with fresh lime juice and simple syrup. I make my gimlet slightly dry with 2oz of gin and only 2 tsp of Rose’s Lime Cordial. I then stir with lots of ice for thirty seconds and serve with a twist of lime. It’s crisp, refreshing and totally delicious.

Nice one. Great to find out what works for each of our own taste preferences.

Dehydrated lime wheel doesn't sink to the bottom.
