Atlanta, Dallas, Charlotte, Toronto, Portland, And Golden State for Rudy Gobert. Miami, Toronto, Detroit, and New York for Donovan. Teams listed offer the best package and fit for each player.
@Zac DeCastro-Bunce Annunoby and picks I suppose? I highly doubt they'd let go of Freddy, Scottie, or Siakam. Maybe Gary Trent, but the Jazz wouldn't care for another guard, they need a defensive minded perimeter wing. However Annunobys contract is 15 million and Gobert, 30. Toronto would have to unload their entire bench of 1-5 million contracts to make it work, I checked Trade Machine.
The warriors won’t trade for Gobert. Salary wise it makes zero sense Next year wiggins deal ends just as pooles rookie deal ends. It’s perfect timing. If they trade for someone on 40 million per year it’s basically guaranteeing they can’t resign him. Instead if they keep wiggs they can resign Poole to roughly 20 million per year and let wiggins leave unless he takes a pay cut. Why? Because then they’ll have wiseman and then kumingas rookie deals ending the following two years and if either are showing all star potential they’ll need paid as well.
@Martin You're right on 🎯 on the Dubs' salary/roster current financial status and in Dubs NOT getting Gobert. Dubs need another big, but it's not the "Stifle Tower". Myers and his staff ought to draft one--if available towards the end of this year's Draft's Round One. I'm not sure if Dubs' pick is at #29, or a bit earlier. Please use the hyphen in the term "resign" that completely changes the word's meaning. Re-sign= to sign again; resign = to quit. It just makes it more clearer, easier, and much faster gets your thought across. Mostly, I don't mind misspelled words in comments/replies in social media; but, I do mind the use/no use of the hyphen in re-sign when the author means to sign again or to quit. Please don't be offended at my plea and my explanation. I only mean well for you,🙏🙂
Agreed man. But if wiseman can't stay healthy, they can let him go. But yeah, i think the warriors would rather keep Kuminga and Poole over having Gobert.
joe lacob will have no problems paying poole even with gobert on the roster. it’s gonna come down to there won’t be any money for any depth after that.
@@visno yeah he's too expensive and can't be used in the offensive end Bogut was a great center for them because he had decent jumper while Golbert is only good for paint protection and rebounding
The funny thing is, Gobert IS playable in the playoffs, even against smaller lineups. His perimeter D has improved significantly. The problem is, his teammates are so bad at defense that he either stays with his man on the perimeter and watches a layup line develop or sag in to challenge shots and leave his guy open on the perimeter. On a team with better perimeter defenders, he wouldn't be asked to do so much.
True, you can't expect the guy to guard BOTH the paint and the perimeter at the same time. If you're a wing player, the minimum job you should do is defend outside and let him scare them off the paint. The "open" threes Gobert let through in the playoffs were mostly off kickouts that he couldn't close in fast enough on since he was helping on the drive after his guard was blown-by.
Danny Ainge is an excellent talent evaluator and very good in making trades that plugs the noted holes in his team. Het picked Jaylen Brown & Tatum for the Celtics. He outsmarted Sixers in trading the 1st pick (Markelle Faultz) for Tatum, unbelievable. In Ainge, we trust!
I would just point out that many Jazz fans, including myself, realize that Donovan isn't a superstar. He is still young and could get there, but is probably the 2nd best player on a championship team.
i don't even know if he is good enough to be the second best player on a championship team. Looking at last year bucks he is not better than Middleton or Jrue or he can't be compared to CP3 too.
Hes a borderline superstar. However if devin booker is considered a superstar then so is Mitchell. Booker didn't win anything until cp3 got there and the year right before cp3 got there they barely missed the playoffs.
Warriors can't trade for Rudy. Poole might get the max and it kicks in when Wiggins contract ends. So trading Wiggins for Rudy would cost them so much financially in Luxury tax till the remainder of Rudys contract that I dnt see them doing it.
@boo rad right on! Warriors will offer Poole the 20+ M contract extention. He'll probably be the face of the Warriors after Steph. Joe and Bob would love to keep Wiggs, if he'd agree to a pay cut. If not, Warriors FO would trade/draft for a wingman. Yes, Dubs need a backup center, and they'll either draft one, or get one from the G-League. Get positions they need without much further increasing their luxury/repeater taxes. Warriors are still cap strapped.
Casey: "Championship players are not 6'1" one-way guards." Also Casey when discussing Mitchell to the Heat: "The Heat get an elite two-way guard next to Kyle Lowry."
I just really hope that if the Jazz do blow it up Charlotte makes a run for Gobert. It would literally solve their biggest problems not the mention they have decent perimeter defense (well better than the jazz anyway) and Rudy would average 15 points a game just from lobs from Lamelo. It’s a Hornets fan’s wet dream.
who can Charlotte offer for Gobert. They can add Hayward's bad contract but then they would need to add an all-star and who is that? Miles? That's too much of a hit for CHarlotte.
People forget, Ainge is on board. He doesnt make trades that are equal on both sides,it is always he wanted to be the one on top. Unless someone overpay for Rudy or Don, this offseason will be difficult for the Jazz. One thing I like with Ainge is he signed Brad Stevens who is unknown at the time. Maybe he can work his magic and bring in a new coach that is of Stevens caliber.
@@utahhoopsfreak8648 pretty much what's going on today. Hardy the coach, pick heist for Rudy. Any Don discussion must include an absurd number of picks. This is what Ainge is. He prays on the desperate team.
Big fan of Rudy. You could throw him in any of the 29 teams in the league and it would immediately make you a top 5 defense. But yea he needs to learn how to be effective vs small ball teams as well. For his size, I'm not sure why he doesn't get a lot of alley-oops. It's a shame that he has no offense at all because it limits him and his teams defensive impact in the playoffs. I would like to him go to a big market team where he will get more love from casual fans.
Jazz has garbage wing defenders and Rudy gets all the blame for it. Clippers have elite wing defenders but lacks defense at the center position. Rudy would fit in with the Clips.
Non of the above depicted. It kinda surprises me that you didn’t think first in Bojan, Onealle or Conley trade for a fresh talent switch. There are plenty teams that would trade for those 3 and not destroy what’s being built in Utah
Right nobody you trade for is going to cover up for tht Conley be Bogy defense even thought I Argue Bogy not a complete liability. Rudy gay would be good on a team like Boston or Twolves
As a Heat fan, I'd pass on trading for Mitchell. We lose too much by trading Herro and Robinson. Pat Riley didn't pull the trigger for James Harden (when he was still at former MVP level) when they asked for Herro back, he won't do it for Mitchell either.
@anxiety Comparing Trae Young with Mitchell is bad. Trae Young at least is a great playmaker that even when he is cold at shooting he can easily give you 10+ assists
Obviously the perimeter defence had been an issue as well as effort and a bunch of other things on defense this season for the jazz. But in this series overall the jazz’s defensive rating was actually good and was able to keep the mavs to an average under 110ppg, but the offensive consistency was just awful from the jazz and the main reason why they lost. When the most consistent offensive player for the series is Clarkson who is known for being a bit inconsistent there’s a problem. In saying that I still do think that they need and there will be changes to the team.
Jazz defense wasn't really impressive since Mavs averaged like 107 ppg during the season and in this playoff they averaged 104 ppg. Mavs this season isn't the high scoring team they used to be. This series basically is more about how insane Mavs defense can get getting the ranked 1 or 2 offense to average 100 ppg when Jazz averaged 113 ppg during the season.
@@hittkid6312 Yeah I’m not saying that their defense was super impressive, I’m just saying that after all of this constant talk about the Jazz’s horrible defensive issues (they definitely do have some issues) in the end there defense held up enough in the series against the mavs to a point that they would have been satisfied with, that if their offense hadn’t completely fallen apart then they would have still won the series.
I feel Mitchell Will most likely buy into the Miami heat system more then the Jazz due to the fresh start and not the history of frustration he’s had before. That being said he still won’t be the greatest defender but hopefully he will be able to be average then far below average as he is right now
have you seen him this year? He was clamped by Dorian Finney Smith who is a good defender but imagine him being guarded by a Kawhi or playing against this year Heat or Celtics. Dude would average 16 on 30% shooting
When they say no player is Untouchable, especially in the Utah Jazz case, they are just saying that because they don't want the directly throw Rudy gobert under the bus. Utah has been very professionally handling the intra-company issues that have been having, especially between Donovan and gobert. The media (then therefore fans) have not been talkin about gobert and Mitchell about their silent beef because they have not been making anything public. And they are going to continue doing that by saying nobody is Untouchable, because if they make any hints at all then the media starts buzzing, which is what they have been to avoid. So just because they say nobody is untouchable, it doesn't mean it's true
Eric Paschall could've been used in a small ball lineup. High energy guy, can penetrate and pass. He was sort of considered a cheap Draymond Green with the warriors. Albeit, he is quite undersized but if teams use small ball teams, it could've worked a lil bit
Eric Paschal has the potential to be a star ✨✴️ in the NBA. H e just needs a little bit more time to develop. In fact I was surprised initially that Golden State Warriors let him go but he was an aggressive scorer that really didn't pass the ball 🏀 so I guess he didn't fit their system. He reminded me of a young Kobe Bryant in the triangle 📐▶️ offense.
Even if the Knicks were to try and push a deal for D-Mitch, it wouldn’t involve RJ. As inefficient as he is rn, he’s much younger than Mitchell and his contract won’t match up unless he gets a big extension. Randle would have to be the centerpiece of a trade, and I can see Ainge biting on that as long as the Knicks throw in some firsts and one of their young pieces. Randle would likely return to form in a new, smaller market like Utah.
jazz aint trading for garbage ass randle one season wonder. It would have to be rj plus way more d mithchell for rj, burks, obi and two firsts minumum. -heat fan
@@jeffoballer1721 but I do agree rj would be needed for a Donovan trade and if he's not in it and it's Randle then it would be a lot of other compensation
@@nature-kv3xe yeah I don’t think they should either, especially if it involves RJ. Casey said he was inefficient, but a lot of that was due to the start of the season and also it definitely could be more of a one-off. His second season was very much efficient and shot over 40% from 3.
Great stuff! I think it makes more sense for the Jazz to add Ben Simmons to form a big 3 though instead of giving up one of their all-stars. Or they could try to get Jae Crowder, Jerami Grant, or PJ Washington to add some more size and defense so Rudy isn't all alone on defense.
no joshing i get giddey thinking of gobert with okc defense , what a target for giddey on lobs,,,,,, what a presence for sga to hit if they put up the wall gobert will make em pay... baze , jre , robie at the 4 alongside gobert helping poku man up and improve on defense do i need to continue. we will be the single most french speaking team in nba lol.... maledon to gobert, giddey to gobert , sga with an actual big who sets a pic , poku gobert baze robie jre just blocking stuff left and right ,, get that outta here... so much attention on gobert over the top forgetting a cutting dort or tre mann wiggin theo ... team first play ,, we go too the playoffs for development i like it
The Heat value defense (its a culture thing) that is foreign to Donovan. Also, doubt they would trade away their future franchise player Herro. I agree with Gobert on Warriors though (they don't need him for offense at all). Charlotte or Hawks could do with Gobert as well 🤷🏾♂️
Gsw trade out wiggins for gobert Imagine rudy and draymond on the same team Definitely can’t get him without a vet minimum or something I dunny if Cody got his bread or not but yeh I don’t see it
@@scambammer6102 Um ok I guess your a jazz fan I was just imaging too great defenders on that warriors team I don’t really care about the jazz tbh I was assuming Rudy would just walk out on them for maybe picks /wiggins / role players They couldn’t afford him without everyone restructuring there contracts anyhow and they probably gotta do that anyway
Straight up i'm trading D.Mitchell ASAP. You can built around Gobert. You can built around a defensive anchor guy since is the harder kind of player to find. You cannot built around a inefficient,undersize,0 defense allow to be play Guard. The NBA is full of players like Mitchell and the draft keep bringing those kind of guys every year. Trading Mitchell will probably give you back the most return since everyone is mad horny wet for Mitchell ignoring his red flaws and weaknesses
Curry, Klay, Poole, Draymond and Gobert... That's scary lineup. Offensively you have three guys capable on going 25+ points each game, Defensively you have the best paint protectors in Dray and Gobert and perimeter is defended by Curry (much improved defense this year, check the stats) and Klay.
But a reduction in offense. So no, it's not scary at all. Plus the Warriors pay switch defense, even with Looney. Gobert doesn't switch on defense, he just sits in the paint. So he's useless on the Warriors.
Donovan is not a point guard. Ingles shows how easy it is to pass to a very tall man who then dunks it. With the amount of playing time they spend together, Donovan should be able to get four assists a game to Rudy. But doesn’t.
That’s what happens when you only care about the one stat Line…. Points scored. Mitchell has proven time and time again that even when Gobert was wide open after a screen and roll, Mitchell takes an off balance well contested and even double team bad shot… or just loses the ball out of bounds.
Rudy to the clippers for zubac and marcas morris. Clippers could use rudy in the paint and they have elite defenders in all 4 positions that he want be a liability. Just guard the paint and rebound
As a Blazers fan, there's no damn way I'd be remotely okay with us going for Donovan. That would actually piss me off. We had CJ for a one-way player who is a one-trick pony, let alone is horridly under-sized. Why the flying f**k would anyone in their right mind want that for this team? It makes absolutely no logical sense. It's strictly stupid in every single way. Nope. No way. Never. You'd have to kill me in order for me to even begin to consider that as a joke.
Utah might keep both players because there aren't many teams out there that want to trade anyone of value for either of them. The proposed Heat trade for Mitchell is the only one I can see working. Utah isn't going to trade Gobert for Wiggins. Mitchell seems interested in playing for a bigger market, so he may push for that--I suspect he'd be happier in Miami.
Gobert would be such a good addition to the Warriors. They need the 10+ RPG, and he wouldn’t have to worry about offense, since either Curry, Klay, and Poole draw all the defenders leaving Gobert or Draymond open. If nobody goes to help guard the shooters, they’ll just do their thing anyways. Imagine a lineup with three DEADLY shooters as well as two former DPOY’s
As a player the one thing that has always been said is “live by the 3 and die by the 3”. And that is also exactly what happened to the suns against the mavericks in game 7. Mavs went off and suns couldn’t buy bucket. 4 for 30 at one point from 3 is the same stat the jazz put up to go down against… yup the same team, the Mavs. It only takes a couple of back to back games to expose the weakness in your opponent, and thats what the playoffs are all about. Great teams and players make the necessary adjustments, thats why the warrriors got destroyed in game 6, and came back game 7 a better team and handed a beating right back. As a jazz fan we have always talked about the weak points in the jazz defense. The rest the team wants to point at Gobert. The Ingles trade hurt Gobert more than it hurt the team.
As a Nuggets fan, I would love to see Mitchell with us. Watching him the first round from 2 years ago makes me think he and Jamal would be deadly playing with Jokić. I feel like Michael Porter Jr, Will Barton and maybe a pick would be a good deal.
Man just stop donovan is the future of the nba he dropped 58 in the playoffs 2 years ago and he is still poping off today, what the jazz really need is a better point guard mike is just slowing down each season he turned over the ball for a chance to will the game he literally scored less than 10 points like 2 out of the 6 games utah played I think utah could get a better underrated point guard for mike conley but yea donovans defense ist the greatest but the jazz need a leader and who else would step up, rudy🤣
As a heat fan, I HATE the trade! I don't see what we would gain from it! Tyler Herro is great offensively, and when he gets the keys to the offense, he will be averaging 30 PPG! Jimmy butler is a good closer! Duncan Robinson is a good 3 points shooter and has been key to us and he grabs so much attention! Gabe vincents is GREAT defensively, locked up trae, and also has shown flashes offensively and is a great helper! Don doesn't fit the Heat culture and We don't even need him anyway. I am so tired of media acting as if the Heat arent the #1 seed! We are CONTENDORS! This is obviously bias but i have us winning it all. but objectively, The heat CAN and are capable of winning the championship RIGHT NOW! Not to mention: Victor Oladipo
I would give Duncan, Gabe and picks. It hurts to loose Gabe out of all of them. But I agree with you, Donavan doesn't seem to fit the culture, he is not one to pass the ball and play unselfish basketball. I don't think we need him, Herro will come around, and our defense is getting better and better now with Max's huge leap in defense. Bam will also get better, he is only 23 years old, people forget. I'm hesitant to trade Gabe because in 2 years Kyle will retire and we need another true PG quarterback, I think Gabe can be close, never the same, but close. I think the rumor started about Donovan coming here because he is good friends with Bam.
@@caro198426 i feel like u guys should. espically with trade lol. yall need an offensive juggernaut that can step up in the playoffs, and he definetly that guy as he avged around 29 ppg, and he can hit clutch shots down the line. him and jimmy would be a dream pair bruh, as jimmy butler can get masked up for his offesive game, and mitchell for his defensive. heat might need a good backup big in the future cuz heat is small
@@thenigeriantrain hmm, this makes sense, we need like a super star on offense. jimmy is great but not a superstar on offense. he can buy a bucket when he wants but I do feel like tyler herro can be THAT guy! he can be the offensive killer on our team within a year
Well. There's no chance for Lakers to get Mitchell (as a Lakers fan I'm saying that. Despite that they're stop paying Luol Deng money when he finished his career). No absolutely chance. Clippers could try to have him in roster, Knicks obviously, but RJ Barrett in exchange is really bad idea, Miami is an fantastic idea. And your idea for this trade with Heat (for me) finally makes a lot of sense. Gobert must start shooting jumpshots, because he will be useful. He can't defend players on 3 point shot, he can't normally shot the ball. He can't be Shaq.
Don’t see the heat trade. Pat Riley trading for a defensive liability/a “star” with an ego is never gonna happen, especially for Herro. Heat just need to keep Oladipo.
They cant trade Wiseman he's the future and I think that's what the warriors are building for I mean they basically got another pair of splash brothers after curry and Klay retire They got Moody and Poole 2 Elite 3 point shooters they also got Wiseman and good young big who is training with Nikola Jokics trainer and dropped 18 points in his first G League game rudy would be good but it's not worth it the warriors would need him doe and with the warriors trainers he would be back in his old form I mean look at Draymond he probably would of win Dpoy if he wasn't injured and they need size most of the games they lost was because they were out rebounded i remember a game where they got out rebounded by 25 rebounds like i said hes good but its not worth it
@Ula Iamanu well said. Poole will be offered the $20+M contract extension this off season, and Bob/GS FO have to figure out Wiggins' and GP2's contract situations without much further enlarging their luxury/repeater taxes and further tightening of their already tight cap space. Hopefully, Wiggs will take a salary cut. Most likely this season is Andre Iguodala's last one. 👀 Bob has a tough task in juggling all the GS finances without making too big of a dent in Joe's bank account. Joe needs the money to sign good 3&D vets next season. That's my only concern about Joe's money. As for Gobert as a Warrior, I don't see Rudy fitting well with Dub's style of play, and it looks like to me he's not a threat on offense, he's declined on defense, and I don't see him being able to handle Draymond's intensity for too long. Please don't get me wrong, I love Draymond; but, his intensity is not for many. Please correct me, if I'm wrong/mistaken in anything.
@@majamintoft5821 Yeah it wont be easy for warriors to spend money on other players and extend other players they never expected jordan poole wiggins and Gp2 to to come out and improve so much
@@ulaiamanu7500 GS FO might not have expected for their supporting players (Wiggs and Poole) to improve so well and this quickly; but, I wouldn't doubt that they were hoping for it. Yes, I agree that it won't be easy in keeping Wiggs. But, Bob has stated towards the end of the reg szn that Poole will be offered a 40M, or more, contract extension this summer. I hope GP2 will be able to stay. I know Bob will try all he can for GP2 and Wiggs to stay. We'll see in due time.
As a Sixers fan I would HATE Mitchell to the heat. In my mind that instantly makes them title favorites. Donovan should bounce back from this down year. Imagine a line up of Lowry Mitchell Butler Tucker and Bam. That’s terrifying
Honestly... Mitchell prolly needs that environment to help him grow. Feels as if he's become stagnant or maybe discontent with Utah. I'd love to see it.
@@nicholasrose4448 oh for sure. Having a dawg like Jimmy and a multi time all star champ and most likely future hof in Lowry should really make him better. Also the defense scheme and talent should hide his weakness on that side of the ball. His scoring load being less would probably make him able to focus on defensive a bit more. But I don’t wanna face that team in the postseason
I really don't understand why the Jazz just didn't fully commit to a zone defense vs the Mavs. Mitchell, O'neale, and Conley were just letting people jog by them to the basket. At least when they were in a zone, they kept the Mavs out of the paint. As a Jazz fan, I am just happy you acknowledged that Mitchell might be the most to blame for their loss this year. All the bigtime media outlets are talking like Mitchell is carrying his team and he deserves better, but Clarkson and Bogie both had better overall series than Mitchell did. I mean, Jaylen Brunson literally outplayed Mitchell by himself, and Brunson is a role player and Mitchell is supposed to be an all-star. It's also glaringly obvious just HOW much better CP3 is than Conley. Conley has never been better than CP3, but when the Grizzlies were playing the Spurs and OKC in the WCF every year, Conley looked like the most underrated player in the league. Now Booker has an aging CP3 that's aging like fine wine and Mitchell has a moldy old Conley who can't do anything on offense or defense anymore.
Atlanta would love to have Donovan as a secondary scorer with Trae. Backcourt defense would be suspect and weak but offensively I think would create unique opportunities that neither Trae nor Donovan have ever had. Love the vid Casey! Keep ‘em coming!
For Hawks defense is the problem. Wouldn't Rudy be a better fit for Hawks? Gobert is a great lob threat that Trae can use and defensively Gobert would raise the team's defensive ceiling.
Rudy would fit perfectly in Atlanta because Trae would need a lot of pick and roll and with his gravity he will have way more lobs. I think Rudy could be a legit 15ppg and would significantly raise their ceiling defensively. Though I would love Gobert on the Warriors, I think Atlanta makes the most sense.
@@AMHoops from what I am hearing and understanding there is legitimate concern over Hunter and his ability to stay healthy. He’s yet to have a season that hasn’t been marred by some significant injury where he misses a bunch of time. Atlanta has had to play significant time without Hunter, it’s currently the health and availability of Capella that seems to raise the defensive floor of the whole team and he wasn’t healthy until late and then immediately got injured again. So for the Hawks, any significant upgrade would have to include a guy being available to play.
Putting Rudy gobert in the death lineup kinda defeats the purpose. Wiggins and wiseman are both younger than gobert and for the warriors who can be in a position to win now and later, y sacrifice anything
I know you keep suggesting how Jerami Grant is a good 3rd piece in a competitive roster, but the problem with that isn't Grant's talent. He had a great spot in Denver already and left. The problem is he doesn't want to be the 3rd guy. Or even the 2nd guy in some situations. He went to Detroit because he wants to be the first option on offense. And unless he gets past that, he ain't going to be happy in another team.
What about the bulls being interested in Gobert? They could use another big man who can protect the rim, plus they already have decent perimeter defense. 🤔
Their problem isn’t Rudy Gobert their problem is the perimeter defence for anybody who doesn’t understand basketball. When they have an open lane because their perimeter defence is so laughable what do you expect rudy to do? He cuts off the lane to the rim as he should. The other players need to rotate to take away the pass to the corner which they aren't. I only despise Rudy but you guys are hating on him for all the wrong reasons.
This right here is who I don't want to trade Grant for anything less than a Godfather offer. Everyone wants him so that gives the Pistons a ton of leverage in any negotiation. Patient Zero is not that Godfather offer tho.
Can you get value can Mitchel or Gobert? Big cap hits for such flawed players? I think they will get more from teams with picks and young players looking for some one to bring experience. Jazz need to start over, veterans like Wiggins and late picks from playoff teams don't help them rebuild.
As a Knicks fan, I would prefer to trade for Gobert vs. Mitchell. If we trade Randle and a bad contract and a protected 1st round pick for Gobert, it could be a solution for us losing Mitchell Robinson in the off-season. Gobert should anchor our defense with Toppin taking a starting role. I think that with RJ reading to score 23-25 pts per game and Toppin getting starting minutes and IQ breaking out, scoring isn't going to be a problem anymore. BUT none of these guys are good defenders. Gobert can erase a lot of their mistakes. Getting Mitchell would involve parting with RJ and IQ and probably a few contracts and picks. And I don't think RJ developing next year would be that much worse than Donovan Mitchell. All RJ needs to do is improve his shooting efficiency and he is a star.
Could you imagine gobert at golden state? He would shine with their dynamic defense and with their firepower offense would not be a problem. But i don't like dropping wiggins for him though because wiggins is a good wing defender
Lakers and Jazz trade : Jazz :Donvan Mitchell, 2nd round draft picks , Lakers : Russell Westbrook , Austin Reaves, Weyen Gabriel , 1st Round draft picks . 👌 solid trade ideas for both teams .
Finally people have started to notice Mitchell is a great offensive talent but the boy don't play a lick of defense. But Utah likes to funnel everything towards Rudy
Golden state should trade Wiseman Kukaminga all the draft picks for the next 5 years for Rudy. The Warriors will be unstoppable. Great on offense and on defense
Every scenario makes the team receiving Golvert worse off execpt the Ben Simmons trade, which actuall makes the most sense seeing as Brooklyn needs some help on defense.
I know Looney is not a great player, but he does his job and is on a much friendlier deal. Warriors are better off re-upping the players they've drafted and develop, than taking a gamble on a zero on offense. I'd like for them to give a shot at Wiseman as their center for the future.
The modern prototype of a championship level first option is a (preferably two-way) wing, like KD, Kawhi, or Lebron. And of course bigs are making a comeback. But it’s overblown to say that Mitchell is not a superstar because of this. If you are great enough on one side of the ball then it can happen. As you said Steph did it and Luka, Ja and even Trae could conceivably become championship winning first options in the near future. Admittedly Mitchell seemed to regress this year but before that he has been an epic playoff performer.
Golden state will never give Wiggins and Wiseman for Gobert. A young gun and a very good 2 way player for a regular season defender does not make sense.
I can see the Warriors getting Gobert for his D ... except for the unacceptable salary cap hit. I agree that the Heat have the most to offer the Jazz in a trade for Donovan. The Lakers would like him, but have no assets to offer.
Other than some rim protection, I don't see what Gobert offers for the Warriors. The Warriors switches everything on defense. This is one area that Gobert can't do.
I feel like the Bulls should go for Rudy because of their defense in the 2022 season. I kinda expected the Bulls to do better than 6th seed before the season started. I was in Orlando watching the Bulls play the 76ers on tv after the Harden/Simmons trade. They kept leaving Embiid and Harden wide open. I feel like the Bulls need better defense. That’s why I think Rudy will end up in Chicago. I’m not sure about Donovan Mitchell yet.
Blow it all up and start from scratch. The whole culture needs to be reconstructed from the ground up. Gobert has his flaws but his contract is too much for what he brings. Likewise Mitchell is overpaid and the role players are all limited and mostly on the wrong side of 30. Quinn should go to too stuck in schemes that haven't worked.
They've also used Royce O'Neal at PF forever now it seems like lol.. I wish they'd never traded Jae Crowder, same when Mavs traded Jae. DPOTY should have went to Bam Adebyo, or maybe Smart. Bam didn't get it because game's missed, or poor voting.. Bam is wayy more valuable than Rudy Gobert.
No he’s not lmao versatility is a weakness especially for his team. His team doesn’t have the size so it’s risky going out of the paint to guard a single person. The heat would thrive better with gobert because they already have good perimeter defenders and they don’t have a lot of size.
I think one team everyones overlooked is OKC. The FO might feel like Donovan is too good to pass up on in a trade and they’d trade for him for their first round picks and 1-2 Thunder players not named Shai, Dort, Giddey. Donovan’s 6’1 height and small body frame wont matter much playing next to 6’6 SGA and a defensive beast in Lu Dort. Plus Spida fits the timeline. Spida is 26 and SGA is 24 yrs old. I doubt they’d trade for Donny tho as it doesnt really make sense unless they get some kind of urgency from ownership/SGA.

Atlanta, Dallas, Charlotte, Toronto, Portland, And Golden State for Rudy Gobert. Miami, Toronto, Detroit, and New York for Donovan. Teams listed offer the best package and fit for each player.
Nice - I wasn't far off.
Miami for Donovan Mavs for Rudy
@@SwavoReligion Miami already has Herro, Robinson, and Lowry in backcourt
I agree with Mavs though.
Donovan ain’t going to the Knicks. That’s a joke organization.
The warriors won’t trade for Gobert. Salary wise it makes zero sense
Next year wiggins deal ends just as pooles rookie deal ends.
I only mean well for you,🙏🙂
I agree.
Imagine Gobert and CP3 on the Celtics sheeeesh and I hate the Celtics
@@ugkglockknine8235 why would you bring cp choke to destroy an already elite system in boston lmao. Rudy would fit pretty well tho i think
You have a good regular season team but not a good playoff team.
@@michaelpetrovich5353 that’s been the story for us, I’m interested in the Ben Simmons trade as I would prefer a tall point guard that can go to the 4
i don't even know if he is good enough to be the second best player on a championship team.
@@michaelpetrovich5353 they aren't even good regular season since January 2022
If they really want Gobert they will make it work.
You are the real MVP for that explanation because I know nothing about that 😂😂😂

Conley's contract is toxic he isn't going anywhere. Bogey is one of the few guys they should keep, along with Clarkson. They need to dump Donvan.
Boy stop! Duncan trash and Herro horrible
Funny seeing potential trades for them 8 months later vs what actually happened.
I didn't know Tyler Herro had a TH-cam channel, good stuff!
Michell in the heat would be interesting, with Butler giving him hell when he doesn't defend.
I feel Mitchell Will most likely buy into the Miami heat system more then the Jazz due to the fresh start and not the history of frustration he’s had before. That being said he still won’t be the greatest defender but hopefully he will be able to be average then far below average as he is right now

Great video. I am a jazz fan for 40 years. I am ready to blow it up. My choice is Golden state and the Knicks but I love the heat trade.
So just because they say nobody is untouchable, it doesn't mean it's true
i’m a jazz fan and you’ve totally nailed it. great video.
Eric Paschall could've been used in a small ball lineup. High energy guy, can penetrate and pass. He was sort of considered a cheap Draymond Green with the warriors. Albeit, he is quite undersized but if teams use small ball teams, it could've worked a lil bit
Eric is more on offense than defense he's like Demarcus Cousin but faster and softer.
Eric Paschal has the potential to be a star ✨✴️ in the NBA. H e just needs a little bit more time to develop.
But doesn’t.
facts
That’s what happens when you only care about the one stat Line…. Points scored. Mitchell has proven time and time again that even when Gobert was wide open after a screen and roll, Mitchell takes an off balance well contested and even double team bad shot… or just loses the ball out of bounds.

Now the jazz are a completely different team.

That’s crazy
Mitchell to Orlando makes some sense. Lots of draft picks with Jalen Suggs makes for a decent deal. Thanks for the content.
Oh, poor Donovan... The truth hurts pal. Learn to play as a teammate. You're not Kobe, you're not even in the same universe.
They going to trade them both because Mitchell might still want out regardless of Rudy.
I hope. Mitchell is washed and gobert is overrated considering his terrible offense.
That Heat trade you proposed is bonkers. Hell No I wouldn't trade those guys for Mitchell.
Something tells me jazz fans would love the heat trade😂
I'd rather trade with the Knicks
@@scambammer6102 this is a mormon racism joke, nobody cares about your preference on a trade package because you’re not the GM
Atlanta would love to have Donovan as a secondary scorer with Trae. Backcourt defense would be suspect and weak but offensively I think would create unique opportunities that neither Trae nor Donovan have ever had. Love the vid Casey! Keep ‘em coming!
I'm with you on that but concerned they'd have to give up DeAndre Hunter to get Donovan....THEN where would their defense be?
HYSTERICAL about field goal avg. for Gobert if he dribbles even ONCE!
As a golden state supporter I would be so disappointed if they traded anybody for Gobert...
That take on RJ Barrett was off. He’s improved his game especially in the second half of the season
Grant went to detroit to get his well deserved money
Lol, there’s no way in hell the jazz say yes to Kleber and picks.
correct. that's nuts. Jazz don't need to trade rudy they need to trade mitchell
That heat trade was atrocious💀
What about the bulls being interested in Gobert? They could use another big man who can protect the rim, plus they already have decent perimeter defense. 🤔
I definitely agree, I’d say Vucevic, Patrick Williams or Coby White and a 1st for Rudy
I only despise Rudy but you guys are hating on him for all the wrong reasons.
correct. rudy's problem is bad offense
Yo Casey are you going to do offseason plans for teams not in playoffs!
Ex: Cavs, Pistons
All RJ needs to do is improve his shooting efficiency and he is a star.
nets for sure for R G, that looks like a match made in heaven.
Could you imagine gobert at golden state? He would shine with their dynamic defense and with their firepower offense would not be a problem. But i don't like dropping wiggins for him though because wiggins is a good wing defender
1:44 You got a sub for understanding why Utah sucks in the postseason. Thank you for that.
Anything involving golden state trade makes literally no sense
What do you think about d lo, Beasley, 2022 first and 2025 first for Donavan Mitchell and Royce O’Neal
As a insane wolves fan. I’ll take that deal. Just get me KD for KAT
fever dreams
Lakers and Jazz trade : Jazz :Donvan Mitchell, 2nd round draft picks , Lakers : Russell Westbrook , Austin Reaves, Weyen Gabriel , 1st Round draft picks . 👌 solid trade ideas for both teams .
Fans would riot in Utah if the Jazz traded for Russel Westbrook. Lots of bad blood there. No chance that happens.
Finally people have started to notice Mitchell is a great offensive talent but the boy don't play a lick of defense. But Utah likes to funnel everything towards Rudy
he isn't that great on offense either. he used to be
Golden state should trade Wiseman Kukaminga all the draft picks for the next 5 years for Rudy. The Warriors will be unstoppable. Great on offense and on defense
Why all the draft picks for the next 5 years, well the warriors will be prime for the next 6 years
If it wasnt for Gorbert's contract I wouldn't mind seeing him go to the Raptors, He's exactly what they need.
He won’t get that contract on another team
@@IgonDrakeWarrior He only got it from the jazz because they hoped his offense would improve. It didn't.
@@scambammer6102 jazz management are an incompetent bunch
Nigga said even Trae
aint no way u think KD is a 2 way player he's a scorer and that's it
"Admittedly Mitchell seemed to regress this year" < that
Golden state will never give Wiggins and Wiseman for Gobert.
I agree on the salary part. It's probably a pipe dream.
Other than some rim protection, I don't see what Gobert offers for the Warriors. The Warriors switches everything on defense. This is one area that Gobert can't do.
@@maplenerd22 ... I agree accept when the Warriors play big centers like Embid and Nikola.
76's could do Maxey and Mathisse for Donovan
Nah they need to throw in a pick or 2
Tyrese for Donovan? No way
Blow it all up and start from scratch.
Bogey and Clarkson are usable. Whiteside is a decent back-up center. Paschal is OK. Everybody else is trash.
I doubt they’d trade for Donny tho as it doesnt really make sense unless they get some kind of urgency from ownership/SGA.
why would the jazz do that?
