6/29/2023 Pursuit of Tacoma Shooting Suspects

- On 6/29/2023 Tacoma PD witnessed a shooting at People's Park in Tacoma. The suspects fled from the area and were pursued until Guardian 1 could take over and allow the officers to fall back. The suspects continued to drive recklessly even after patrol cars backed off. The suspects eventually dumped the car and ran to home in Kent, where they were located.
I live in Seattle and I sleep better knowing Guardian One is always at the ready! Thank you crew!

During these long pursuits do any of the fools ever look in the rear view mirror and ask themselves, " I wonder if this is going to turn out well?"
It's sad. With no chase policies, my daily trips into Portland, I hear on the scanner 90% getting away. I hear about 1 daily.

Dogs on the ground and helicopters with infrared video make it hard to hide anywhere they can't find a suspect . If nothing else , set a perimeter and all converge on the center .
They should try to shoot a gps tracker on the car.

Heh. I wondered if that was what I saw or if it was just a video artifact. Wow they hit that bump hard.
If you look prior to hitting the speed bumps in the school zone the rear windshield was compromised. This weekend the glass and when the shock of the bumps hit it it fell.
