You will be amazed how often Ghirapur Aether Grid will be your finisher in this deck. It replaces Koth as it's faster and harder to remove by opponents. Let's hope for a future replacement that lets us tap enchantments to ping for ultimate blood moon experience :) Also a pro tip: Shattering Spree replicate copies go through the chalice on 1 - only the original spell gets countered.
Learning the matchups is important, e.g. knowing which fetches can be disabled by spyglass even if there's nothing in hand. Vs Jund/Death's Shadow Blood Sun is usually better than Blood Moon. Vs Affinity Challice on 0 or 2 are the most important. Remember that Chandra doesn't target but also can no longer hit Planeswalkers. If you don't have to play them, keep the cheap spells in hand for Chandra's ultimate. Karn +1 before Chandra +1 to know whether to add mana or not. Karn construct beatdown is real. Shutting down fetches with Blood Sun seems narrow. Perhaps Damping Sphere instead? Shutting down fetches does affect more decks than Damping Sphere, but it affects them very little, at least in my experience

amusingly i just put 3 karn in my skred red deck. its weird having 3 different 4 mana pw's but the raw cars advantage makes me want to maybe even drop chandra from my main.

It was valued at less than $150 (my guess) when I built it 4 years but my playset of Forks went up to $20 a piece since then. Add in the 2 Mana Echoes and those cards alone make the deck worth about $120. These are Card Kingdom prices. Add in the other cards and I would say it is still under $200

Exactly this, it also mows down more threats that go under the bridge. On the play pyroclasm can 'bolt the bird' on T2. It also has cool art - VERY IMPORTANT.
i would add aether hub just for that :P (i'm more of a budget player ) glimmervoid with 14 0-mana artifacts seems reasonable sure still a nonbo with blood moon. but how are the chances that you dont have bridge in the top 15 cards ? having outs to goyfs, tokens, GGuide, eidolons and various humans seems like a better maindeck option(compared to welding jar) to me. allthough rare, could theoretically blow up a white leyline
For me I would run all the welding jar (or a number of them in the SB) and have something like relic's main deck. Most decks won't pack that much hate against artifacts MD but many decks do abuse the graveyard.

They are both worth the paper they are printed on. Wizards does reprint a ton of these cards. The demand for them is so high that after 3-6 months of being reprinted, they are back up near their normal price. Supply and Demand. Economics 101.

"The 3:15 to Browntown". Pretty awesome almost looks like a legacy deck. Play it if for nothing else than mountains of salt.
