My favourite part from the last time I remmeber you playing polymorph, was when you had your only available Emrakul in you hand, cast polymorph, and then your opponent conceded in response!
You could add a copy (or two) of "Research // Development" to get your niche Polymorph creatures into your deck from the sideboard for R1, and then sideboard it out for R2.
Jeff Hoogland played this deck and changed it a bit, I think for the better. Deck seems super fun but Garruk Relentless doesn't seem great in a lot of matchups, for example. Nissa, voice of Zendikar seems better. So please play it Seth, but don't be afraid to tweak it a bit! Also two Terrastadons in the sideboard seem key vs Tron, so they can't play Karn the turn after and exile it
Yeah, I think he even did two leagues with the deck, one with this version and one with a better version. Would advice anyone interested in the deck to check them out if you can tolerate the screeching kids.
Yeah I know this isn't Seth's list, but just saying, if he DOES play it there are changes that can be made. Just like he changed the mono green land destruction deck.
I would probably play Mouth // Feed over Call of the Herd. The aftermath half helps in drawing your Polymorph. There is quite enough token generation even without the flashback, and most of the tokens/temp creatures are 3+ power, so I rate the card advantage higher than an extra token.
i think the sagu mauler is for vs certain fringe things, like eldrazi displacer. That said, Inkwell Leviathan would be better for that sort of thing IMO
Jace, Cunning Castaway's tokens get sacrificed if they become the target of a spell, which means that you cannot use polymorph on them. the staff's ability will work, but the odds that you have both staff /and/ jace are bad enough that it is probably not worth it. 3 mana Nissa, on the other hand, is probably pretty good.
Hi Seth, is there any policy MTG goldfish has against altering these decks? Would you be "allowed" to change sagu Mauler into something you'd prefer to play?
Alright, I was curious because oftentimes you wonder about some sideboard choices, which I assume are relevant in the smaller local meta. Wasn't sure if it was a Hard-and-fast rule, or just a courtesy to the deck builder. Thanks!
I've been playing with a budgeted-down, and I think better version of this deck for the last few eeeks. It's super consistent turn 3 or 4 Emmy, and under $50 on modo. Backup wincon of Nissa Tokens and Garruk Overrun. www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/964136#online Only major change I'd make is Fertile Ground to Utopia Sprawl, and maybe a few less taplands, and some sideboard stuff.

That was sweet!
If only the opponent had fans that yelled at him for scooping early, like a certain someone.

Why no 3 mana nissa? Doesn't it let you polymorph on turn 4?
I could see three mana Nissa working in the deck.
Seems better than garruk
+1 great for planeswalker plan, -2 good for token beatdown, -7 wins if game goes long
This would be sweet to see some games with! seems like the most solid polymorph deck yet.

This isn't Seth's list. Its just a card for card that 5-0d a competitive league.
you guys watch those videos on mute?
Yeah I know this isn't Seth's list, but just saying, if he DOES play it there are changes that can be made. Just like he changed the mono green land destruction deck.
TheMattmatic i immediately assumed voice of Zendikar, just so good for the deck

This looks like a fun deck! I've always toyed with the idea of Polymorph in modern!
No Token Nissa in this deck? Makes creatures and cost only GG1.
Turn three emrakrul seems good off of Utopia sprawl as a best case scenario but maybe she isn't good enough without go wide support. Bant poly tokens?
Her -2 is also relevant since the deck sometimes wins beating down with elephants and wolfs if opp stops the Polymorph plan
-7 wins if game goes long
This reminds me of Shape Anew a Blightsteel Colossus.
That deck seems sweet! You oughta play it!
Have you thought of making a poll using that new TH-cam feature? We could choose the deck that way
I haven't, but that sounds like a good idea!
This looks awesome, and possibly able to budget-ify. Please play, I need to know if it works!
Let’s do it, I want to see this thing in action
i think the sagu mauler is for vs certain fringe things, like eldrazi displacer. That said, Inkwell Leviathan would be better for that sort of thing IMO
Would love to see this
Anything with planeswalkers, Emrakul, and polymorph instantly has me sold! Haha
Why not the 3 mana jace from ixalan? Makes a creature and helps you dig. Also same reason with 3 mana Nisa.

Eryk Weber forgot it it was an illusion. Still nissa is cheaper.
Please play
Why not play pelakka wurm instead of eldersacle wurm ? I want to see that deck !
Would be cool to see you play but maybe tinker abit with it first
I really really really want the New Perspectives deck from yesterday to win!!!
Simic is my favorite color combo, make it shine!
This seems fun.
Ok kids, remember if you draw both emrakuls, just go for polymorph anyway and hope for a concession. 200 IQ plays
Maybe the OP, Asteelman123, could tell us when to bring in Sagu Mauler.
please kind seth, this is awesome
Hi Seth, is there any policy MTG goldfish has against altering these decks? Would you be "allowed" to change sagu Mauler into something you'd prefer to play?
I try to take a light touch with changes, but there isn't really a rule about it, so we could change it.

Plz play games with this deck
PLAY that G Land destruction deck!
He did
Sagu Mauler is obviously there to play against an Enchantress deck that runs a bunch of O-rings.
But why not Inkmoth Leviathan in that case?
Simic Sky Swallower is another option that I've had some success with
Play it! Elephant beats!
This is an interestingn take on polymorph, plz play
Finally a blue deck wtithout Jace
Let's see this
Nice
Yeah put the 3 mana nissa in
Esper tokens with polymorph and jace! :D
Polymorph? i will take 4 pls. Just Play this shit SERIOUSLY...
Play it

Play ittt
I mean do that
Do this
Squidward
simic sky swallower is better than sagu mauler
My least favorite part of these deck tech videos is not getting to see you actually play the decks.
