      Hello Mam, I am 33. I have uric acid 9. Take medicine also. But recently I am facing some pain in shoulder joint , elbow and muscle between elbow and shoulder. I am confused that is spondylosis or not. Some pain running from shoulder towards elbow. Please suggest. Thank you

    So I have struggled for months and even went to a chiropractor for 2 bulging disc's and 3 herniated in my cervical area. I followed this 3x a day for a week and bought a orthopedic cervical pillow (and used only that) which sucked cuz I need tv to fall asleep. BUT after a week I am pain free. I'm still doing exercises to strengthen it long term and oddly enough using a quest vr with a comfort headband and the pain and uncomfortableness is NIGHT AND DAY. Even my tinnitus from my ear issues is gone. Thank you so so much!!! I was depressed and ready to give up. I tried everything. Yours did it!

    That last one was what I really needed. My sondylosis pain usually concentrates between my shoulder blades, so that last excersise really helped ease that up. Thank you so much, Doctor Jo!

    Wow and I say again wow, am 73 with C3 through to C7 giving me gip, I just skimped through with you and this video and I can already feel that the stiffness in my neck and shoulders has gone, I've had 3 transforaminal epidurals over the years but nobody has followed up with this sort of exercise, my gratitude to you.

    I've been diagnosed with lumbar spondylosis, osteopenia...I sat behind a desk for almost 30yrs and now I work at home, sitting for most of the day. I'm only 50 and my lower back, neck, shoulder has been hurting for years. I have pain that jumps around (hip, ankle...) I'm sitting here now with an ice pack on my shoulder's because they're burning. Thanks for sharing these exercises as nothing is working and I've tried everything (meds, treatment's, etc.)

    Does anyone else with cervical degeneration/pain ever get migraines? I had a migraine diagnosis for years until I pushed for an MRI & it revealed spine issues.. randomly my neighbour had the exact same problem (spine issues causing migraines). This could be a totally under researched area!

      I've been having daily headache for almost a month and it starts from the roots of my neck
      After an X ray it shows I had straightened cervical lordosis

    Hi Dr Jo.just realised that i had Cx spondylosis-beginning signs and symtoms.I myself am a medical prof and even though i know the treatment,still i came across video showing the isometric exercises- i have learnt from them and feel that they are truly effective for one and all. i will def continue doing them regularly at least 6 mths.Just wanted to thank you. greetings,Dr Jannavi Tandon.India

    I was having a bad cervical pain did these exercises diligently and now I don't feel any pain.. if any of you are facing it just do exercises and warm compress for stiffness and cold compress for inflammation and you'll be good to go.

    This worked like magic for me. My neck and shoulder become jam and I subconsciously had a posture with my shoulders up and neck forward which I didn’t realise for a long unless someonepointed out. They often used to get jam while I sat down to write something. At times I used to feelnit is due to that jacket I am wearing. But soon it became frequent. It was such a relief after doing this exercise. Thank you.

    You may need to add a disclaimer to the disclaimer alert. Sometimes getting a diagnosis from a doctor is the most dangerous thing to do. My doctor originally diagnosed me with carpal tunnel syndrome and started me out with anti inflammatory s, ice and CT braces. At the next appointment I mentioned that I have noticed pain in my neck and shoulders on the days the hand pain and numbness were at their worst. He made a comment about being one of those who like to Goodle things and play doctor and said they were not related and continued with the same treatment that didn't work last time. Next appointment, same diagnosis and treatment and added surgery as an option. That's when I started being a Google doctor and was not convince CT surgery was going to fix the problem. Luckily I hurt my lower back at work one day and visited my Chiropractor and as he was checking out the sore area on my low back he noticed a little swelling in the cervical area and asked about any other symptoms. He suggested I talk to my regular doctor and have some xrays taken to see what was going on. This was about 4 years after my doctor diagnosed me with carpal tunnel syndrome. My doctor had retired so I was seen by his replacement and I should have started the whole process out with Goodle, Doctor Jo and my chiropractor. This video along with your nerve glide video have helped tremendously.. Thanks Doctor Jo.

    I appreciate all of your exercises throughout each of my surgeries. I can't do the last one because my hand goes numb, and I just don't have the strength to hold my shoulder. I have an upcoming cervical spine surgery and plan to use your exercises post surgery. Thanks.

    Does cervical spondolysis cause a breathing difficulty, pressure over chest or the wind pipe, and a GERD . if so kindly help to relieve those by stretching. I'm suffering from this thing and experiencing pressure during laying down...

      sir .....I am just 23 and I had cervical spondylolysis for the last 3 months .....went to a number of doctors regarding this but nothing helped.....but started doing stretching for the last 20 days and my neck pain and stiffness is completely gone.....but still sir I am not getting proper sleep...., while sleeping on a particular side my heartbeat suddenly increases and it feels like anxiety .......and when i change the side everything comes back to normal.....plzz help me out sir .....anyone else who is experiencing this ?

    I'm 22 and I started being dizzy this year... because I'm a musician and all day playing guitar and piano doesn't help, I was told that it is because of the cervical spondylosis, so I hope these exercises will help to start feeling good

    hi Dr.jo I'm 34 yrs I recently done xrays it shows reduction of disc space at c5 c6 level and loss of cervical lordosis . I pains lot in my neak and right hand and two of my finger show numness what should I do plss miss .should this stretches exercises help me.

    Having severe cervical pain and since its lockdown can't see physiotherapist even ... So just started this exercise after reading comments . Its day 1 ...n yes it gave me instant relief but not completely ...but m feeling better than before . Will update daily n will be doing till the pain exists or i feel so doing it .     Dr. Jo im a drummer, im diagnosed with cervical spondylosis. My lower neck, and muscle below elbow pains a lot. I feel stiffness in my wrist and fingers with shivering. Please let me know whether these exercises help me.

    I was reading about cervical muscle and phrenic nerve link because of problems I've been experiencing. I was having diaphragm trouble and tightness so I am going to do these exercises and see. My sedentary lifestyle is to blame which I am now motivated to remedy. Human body is so interesting!

    I have cervical spondylitis in the very age of 25 by working long hours of computers on daily, my question is here should i leave my job?? although I have been following exercise which is suggested by doctor. Need your valuable feed back.

      I don't think you need to leave your job, but you should try to get a better position while you are working, or maybe even try a standing desk. Good luck.

    Thanks Dr. Jo. I have for 1.5 years now 2 herniated disc C3-C4 and C4-C5 plus multilevel facet spondylosis. Whenever I do neck exercises my condition only gets worse a lot in the back of head, face, numbing tip of tongue plus shoulder and neck aching . Normal neck movements without going to the extremes seem best for me since I don't know how far to push my neck movement.

    been slouching, having that keyboard neck all my life, just started riding a motorcycle with a full face helmet, did a big work in a basement/crawlspace last week with my neck bent the whole time and I woke up to this pain that wouldn't go away for a whole week straight. I figure all these things combined triggered it and now I came to this page to find relief. I hope it will help.

      2 things gave me a herniated disk by 36. 1 was my pillow, so make sure you have a good pillow and sleep in a decent posture. 2 Was sitting/laying on the couch and having horrible posture. Stretch before you go to bed

    Oh yesssssssssss, you nailed it again. The lavater scapula on my right side (same side as my shoulder pain) gets very tight. The stretch for the should you called the glide, thumbs up on a table or the ball does help the lavater scapula too. As does the pendulum. Thank you.

    Dr. Jo, thank you, my darling just had my x-ray, and it shows deterioration of my shoulder and neck
    Spondalosis is confirmed and has such an ache in the neck, and thank you for your demonstration. I will use that as my exercise to try and relieve that pain . I have hit 52 and think things are starting to drop off . Regards

    i have been diagnosed with cervical sypnodylosis and have been told that my bones have become immensely weak. My pain begins at every evening and goes straighy down to my arm, wrist,fingers. The pain is so hard that i cry for the entire night. But from yesterday i saw your video and have been following it and honestly i have never felt this better before. The pain vasnishes instantly.
