Ma'am I have severe cervical pain. Someone told me I shouldn't do neck exercises when in pain.instead I should take rest n start doing after a little relief. Is it so. Plz suggest

Hi Dr Jo You are showing an exercise for cervical spondylosis where you tuck your chin into your chest and then backwards? So I wanted to know if I tuck 😊my chin into my chest if it would be beneficial to put pressure down on it.
It depends on what stage of recovery you are in and how your body reacts to treatment, but in general, therapeutic exercises can be done 1-3 times a day, every day.
Unfortunately, I don't know that answer since I can't evaluate you. Everyone is different. If there is any way you can see a physical therapist in person, they should be able to help you figure out a specific program for you and help answer your questions.
I am just 24 years .I am suffering from cervical spondylosis.....too much of hand pain and headache ..is there any permanent solution.please give me rly mam
@@Arsh-xj4hl i m also 17 and i had the pain for almost 2 weeks but now I am totally fine double chin exercise reallyyy helps a lot. I did it 15-20 times 3 times a day please do this with believe that i am going to be fine . I know the frustration and sleep less nights so i recommend you to please do double chin exercise . It's you early age so it can be treated.

It can be unnerving to move my head side to side because of the bone sliding on bone sensation.

when I bend my head side to side I feel a crack on one side. is that normal and will it work itself out after I keep doing these exercises for a while
