    Hi Michael,
I’m a disabled 18 year old guy and I just wanted to say how much this video meant to me. I just recently got some bad news medically speaking, and this video touched me in a special way. I’m on my way to college and everything is looking up in that realm, but now I fear my disability will get in the way of that. Your words in this video rang truer that I think those outside of our situation could ever know.
    Thank you deeply.

      Hey Sam,
It means so much to me that you connected with my words. I know what it is like to get bad medical news going into college, as both the lenses in my eyes slipped out, I had retinal detachments in both eyes several times and was going to become 100% blind on top of my other physical disabilities. I was also having heart attacks and repeatedly dying throughout college.
Yet now, after many surgeries and developed resilience, I have 20/20 vision and have not had a heart attack since college. Which I graduated among the top of my class with honors. I started stand up comedy, my own podcasts and business. I also even get to wear suits now, even though for years I was always turned away from stores because my body was “too deformed.”
No matter what happens, if you end up going to college, or your life starts another path… the skills you learn from the continued resilience you develop from your disabilities, will always be worth more than a degree. Trust in yourself, reflect often, use pain as fuel to learn and ask God to guild. No matter how hard it is… never give up!
I almost convinced myself this life was not worth living anymore… even though I knew it was. Please learn from my mistake. Always remind yourself of your worth, look inward to fight your inner demons and you will find true self love. Once you achieve this… it literally feels like a superpower. Honor what others see as a curse and use it as a gift! ❤️
If you ever need anything or I can be of assistance just reach out brother 👊
