Finally got out on the river chasing some summer steelhead and springers today. Nothing besides some small cutthroat wanted to play unfortunately but it was still great just to be on the river again. Great video as always guys!
Just have to say, Raised here in Alaska fishing, really liked you guys fishing Yakutat, spring steelhead, then fall coho! A place you guys got to go to, vid, etc is kodiak island, fishing with our brown bears! “ literally “! No place on earth like it!😉👍
Cameron is quite the chef! Love the plunking, the rock weight method is solid, I saw some Coldwater strong bags that will release sand after hooking the fish, not sure if you guys have used those before or not. Great stuff guys!

I wish i was out there fishing for steelhead, If i were to ask, what type of fibers do yall use on your jigs? im getting into tying jigs for the upcoming winter steelhead season and i was looking for some ideas of what to use
Little squirt of lemon or lime.j bet be real good in that green paste. Have you ever flipped a bowl upside down and lay the filet over it to pull the pin bones? Exposes them nicely
Quick tip; when breading anything, use one had for your wet part and the other hand for the dry part, that way your hands won’t get all clumpy and full of batter as much :) tight lines everyone!!

Pretty cool to see this type of fishing being done here too. This is how we fish in my parts of Michigan. We use a 2 pound weight though some times 3.
