    Awesome video! I haven't tried plunking for Salmon, perhaps something to try for next Salmon season (or maybe even Winter Steelhead). Thanks for sharing!

      Plunking is a very productive way of fishing for salmon and steelhead all times of the year

    Why do people always have to ask where this spot is? Or what river? 🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼🙄🙄🙄. Thank you for not outing or devolving. Much respect to you Sir!

      New or unsuccessful anglers trying to find a good spot to fish tend to ask location before they ask what to use.

      @@AnglersDreamPNW I totally agree. Not to mention the tag alongs. As in hey where is that spot? They bring say 4 friends. Then those 4 tell 16 others 🤦🏼🙄. Nice sweet spot is now over run!
      Just keep doing what your doing 👍👍. keep the whereabouts a mystery.

    I fish a ton in Washington where are some good places to do this? I’ve been trying to get into salmon and with the b run coming hopefully they’ll be more vids too.

      Basically every tributary of the Columbia holds fish and this method will work for them

    As for the drag. Are you setting it loose at all. Or is it all the way tight? Thanks In advance.

    • @AnglersDreamPNW

      When plunking for fall coho i like it to be just loose enough to where i can pull out drag without feeling like the line will cut me if that makes sense.

    What river ?

    does this work during the spawn? Most of the videos I see have fly fishing gear with light amount of eggs?

    • @AnglersDreamPNW
      @AnglersDreamPNW  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When salmon come up the river its to spawn and die. For coho i use a quarter size glob of eggs or slightly bigger. Coho eat spinners, jigs, eggs, flies, shrimp and a few other things
