      @eonbart 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@justinbergmans36 Pogacar is slightly better at climbs below 2000m and under 30 minutes. But he has the tendency to crack on longer climbs with high elevation and this is where Vingegaard is by far the best and gains minutes. Visma is still strong enough. Plus WvA does not ride the Giro due to his crash so he might do the TdF

    Pogacar might not need to fight particular competitors. But what if the other teams will try to make UAE suffer at the Giro? Because one single team will not manage to control the race. UAE can not catch every break away, when the others sit on their wheels. I expect this giro to present surprises.

    • @bullten5416
      @bullten5416 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is a good point. In the tour, UAE had the support of Jumbo Visma (or vice versa).
      But I think that will not be a such a big deal. UAE will let the stage wins most of the time (the greedy Poggy have to. He doesn't need 6 stages wins).
      A surprise could arrive if 2 or more Pogacar teammates abandoned the race.
      But even in that case, the only thing happening would be Pogacar much tired at the end of the Giro.

    There's no challenging Poggi in his current form. Riders are going to be riding for 2nd place at both the Giro and TdF. Likely, no one is going to waste energy or effort trying to keep up with him. Only an injury from a crash could seriously stop him. Even a mechanical, or a sick day he'd be able to recover from.

    Let's ask his personal coach Matxin, he's in the end also the men that helped Museeuw, Bartoli, Cobo Acebo, Ricardo Rico, Iban Mayo, Piepoli and others.... who all cheated.
    Thus yes the only thing that can stop Tadej is a out of competition controle on synthetic drugs.... Matxin as personal coach, Mauro Gianetti as CEO, and nobody does ask questions ?!?! 🤮🤮🤮

    Not a fan. Obvious to me that this particular generation of riders is again doped to the max yet everyone can't see the forest for the trees. No proof, I get it, but we have heard that before. No one can stay at peak form for 8 months, no one. First time in like 40+ years I will not be interested in the Tour if Jonas is out. He was the only one that seems to have similar meds to match Pog. Good luck to him though as it will surely be a good grand tour season for him. The Giro will mostly be a parade for him as there will not be any rear competition. I'm sure the Giro organizers know the same thing and are somewhat worried that if and when it turns into a parade after day 3 or 4, many will tune out. Not very interesting to see someone attack at 60k from the finish and no one able or wanting to follow. My time will be better spent riding my own bike.
