Do we all have to wait until perhaps years from now when Pog goes down the same JUICE revelations as the greats before him? ………. no human can accomplish what Pog is doing without JUICE.

Vingegaard, if he participates, will be at much less than 100%. That's why Pogačar will win.

The simple thing is that if Jonas Vingegaard wins the TDF after the injuries he has sustained, it will be a permanent knock on Pogacar's status. Pogacar might have traits of Merkx, but if you cannot win the most important race then......

Since the racing is not clean, it should be exciting.

I was wondering why he was in all those races, I though by France he might be completely burnt out.

If Vingegaard takes the TDF this year I’ll be amazed, but not surprised. He is the only rider who can tire Pogi out of the backwheel…

Great analysis that match my conclusions both from the Giro and Pogacar's current level plus the outlook for his tour. I cannot recall a more perfect executed grand tour than his Giro. He's more mature and has even sharpened his killing moves.

I just hope we get an exciting race. Im a Dane but still I would rather see Jonas not winning, than him winning as boringly as in the days with Armstrong, Indurain and Froome.

I really just want a competitive race with the best riders at their best. It will be a lot less meaningful if Pogacar wins because Vingegaard is not at his best. If I had to bet on one rider to win it would be Pogacar, but if you say Pogacar against all the other riders then I would have to take the field because the TDF is unpredictable, and you never really know until it starts who has the best form to win it all.

Pogi is completely dominating everyone atm. The weather has been cooler in the early races though, so we'll see how he handles the heat. He's had trouble in the past couple TDF's when a long climb hits on a hot day.

Baring a serious crash…no one can beat as told.

We are so spoiled with the number of great riders we currently have. They are all likable guys too. I hope pog wins the tour. He's had a great season. He definitely looks leaner and he's obviously driven.

We know that it’s all in the head. He is not physically tired, he’s got six weeks to recover before the tour and that’s more than enough to recover physically but whether he can pull himself together mentally, that’s a different story. He looks really ready and extremely motivated. I wish him all the best! 🤞

Why do previous riders who have been found guilty of doping, highly suspected of doping or gaming the TUE system continually be used as comparisons for current riders? Shouldn't cycling journalists look to distance comparisons to these riders.

If he wins the TDF in a not so gruelling way - meaning enough cruising to victory, he will most likely go for the Vuelta as well.

I really like your passion for the sport but correctly pronouncing Tadej, Pogačar, Primož, and Vingegaard shows that you also have great respect for the riders and their nationalities. ✊🙏🏼

I so hope Pogi manages to get the double, but what if Roglics had enough and miraculously takes the yellow on the final tt (like somebody did to him wink wink)…

G wasn't lucky to get back on. He's had a career where he knows what his limit is, knows how to ride stages, he's a Tour de France winner after all. The complete lack of respect from you there was shocking...

It’s definitely on for the double it’s obviously down to his competitors form which I would mainly say Jonas as they are the top 2 but if he can keep his form or even improve for the Tour then I would say it’s his to lose. I guess we shall see in a months time.

Just remember he was racing third/fourth stringers so he didn’t have to go deep in the Giro. He will be at the TDF in superb form and clearly the favorite. Jonas is still a question mark ❓ Roglic and Remco are not on his level 🤷‍♂️

What is this fuss about Tadej Pogacar. The guy was racing against underdogs. The big boys will wait for him at the tour and this will be a completely different ballgame. Unfortunately, the Giro organizers have influenced the media to portray Pogacar as a super man yet we know he was not competing against his match. eg if Tom Pidcock had crossed the summit at the same time as Martinez and started the 30km descent he would have easily caught up Pogi and finished a minute before him. But we are here pretending that Pogi was in a perfect race that proved his dominance. Let him bring those legs to the TDF and see what awaits him.

The question of whether Pogi can win the TdF comes down to how well in-form Jonas will be. Pogi had a wrist injury before the TdF last year that ended up hurting his form quite a bit. Given that Jonas' crash was much more serious, I have my doubts that Jonas can outperform Pogi this year. The rest of the competitors apart from those two are just fighting for 2nd place. There are just no riders that can match those two.

Oooooh yeah, I'm sure it will not be forgotten! It'll become legendary!
