People...the Tour takes more than 3 months to put together. The process of start and finish cities and towns bidding for the Route and then the logistics of finalizing all that is not a three month job. Vingegaard won the 2022 and 2023 editions so when 2025 route was being designed, HE was the dominant rider.

The 2024 Pogačar is completely out of range of any competitor right now. Any hope of Jonas winning the Tour lies with Pogi not being healthy. It won't be a 2024 repeat for sure, we will see something different. But betting on slow, high, not-so-steep climbs (the cols) on wearing out Pogi is like counting on a breeze to topple the trophy winning catamaran. It won't happen.

I think Jonas will try Giro Tour Double next year, but if he will be able to beat Pogi is unclear offiacly. Lets just hope for a good battle like in 2022

If this course KOs Pogacar, the rest of the field will be crushed as well. In the end, the guy with the best form will have the advantage, Pogi or not.

It's design for the yellow jersey to change shoulders often in first 14 days, then the GC Guys will flourish, and I can't see JV ever beating Pogachar again, and I think he has this fear too

The only route that would crack pogachar would be flat stages, it will take ½ way through the 2nd week before the GC Contenders cone to tge fore

To put simply one thing for sure. No one can beat a healthy Tadej, you can put 2 x that 5 mountain stages for 2025, I’ll still put my money on Tadej. Period

There was a time when UAE didnt have such a strong team and Visma had a team of MVP's but the rolls have changed the past 2 seasons. Especially last season. As hard as it is to believe there is a chance we see Pogi on same or possibly better form than last season and Jonas knows this so Jonas is going to be on a serious rampage to take back his title. You could argue that this course suits Jonas more but every rider and team trains for the course that is put before them. Thats why we get to see the course before 2025 even hits,so each team can train on that course. One thing is for sure, as long as we dont see any injuries going into the TDF we are in for the race of a lifetime!! 🤘🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

All GC contenders train to the route as it is given and the best rider wins. Pogi has already stated that including the climbs where he had issues only adds fuel to his fire and given the systematic way he went about addressing his "weaknesses" from 2022 & 2023, my guess is he will do the same for TdF 2025. If both Jonas and Pogi are healthy, I expect a fierce battle, but give the odds to Pogi.

Hope they both are in top shape for the TdF this year (no injuries in the spring).

first 2 times Vingegaard won the tour he had Wout, kuss and Roglic on his side, so more than enough to make pogacar pinballing arround. Wout proved in the last vuelta he still can do it ! he was leader in the mounten and sprint competition... unthill he chrached . Just wanna say, a lot will depend on there teams; Because pog and vingegaard riding 100% the same parcours and stages. I dont see anny profit for vingegaard. Pogacar is a verry opportunistic racer, het dont care all youve said . BTW there is annother rider to watch ! the double olympic champion Remco. his first tour he came to learn , now he goos to win the tour...

First😊....Pog will be even stronger in 2025 and Jonas will hardly beat Pog...Jonas starting the Tdf preparation so early does it tell all.... despite the incident Jonas showed his best numbers ever but because of lack of preparations he has burned out in the 3. week....the difference un 2025 will be even bigger ....

The truth is : Pogi will train harder all his "weaknesses" and UAE will destroy others. Train is the key. But i'm very excited to see the fight between Jumbo with Vingegaard and UAE and the dream team. I think the victory is between the team and not all about the superstar ^^For me, i'm for Pogi, because he's cool, good player and no mercy. Jumbo, is to much calculated, they are like a computer and UAE are like warrior brain ^^

Hm... Last year everybody said the exact same thing and even if Jonas wasn't at his top level, Pogi absolutely destroyed every form of opposition. Besides organizers do not create a route focusing on one particular rider, and they spend at least two years to create a route.
