- We are at quarters of San Francisco Fire Department Station 3, which houses Engine 3 and Truck 3, at 1067 Post Street, where we see the engine as they get toned out for an EMS run for a person having chest pains at 730 Eddy Street between Polk Street and Van Ness Avenue. Engine 3 is a brand new 2019 Ferrara Igniter. Enjoy the view of the new rig, as well as the sound of the Screaming Eagle electro-mechanical siren. These guys used to be considered the busiest engine in the nation. Are they still number 1? Last report I read said they ran over 10,000 calls in a year.
Actually I think lafd station 9 took that
@@Maizefire LAFD 9 is the busiest overall station. SFFD Engine 3 was the busiest engine in the nation. 9 has a lot of units to handle the extremely high call volume, while this single unit ran over 10,000 calls in one year. Two different thing we're talking about here.

Love the station tones & the screaming eagle! Much better sounding siren than Federal's
The best firehouse in San Francisco. I still don’t get why they always park their cars in the app bay when they have a designated lot in the Cedar alley. Make more room for the engine so it’s not butted up against the bay door. If you backed it up far enough, the truck guys would have easier access. Just my opinion.

Forget the name of the siren but in the center of the bumper it’s a smaller version of a Q.
