I remember people in the community bringing up positive uses for the dream, like using it to ‘recover lost senses, like being blind’ and using it to relive a happy memory or a lost loved one, when this episode came out.

Dust (one of the guys telling him about the club) has his own spinoff and it’s great. He has a party but he also has adventures with loli succubus (the one who came to do Kazuma’s dream) and also Yunyun.
I'd like to imagine that the Amsterdam Lady just made some tea, and her client laid all the troubles ot the world bare to her, while they had a nice chat, with no one partaking in any juvenile activities whatsoever. She probably gave sagely advice and such!
I would recommend waiting on the OVA (episode 11) until after the second episode of season 2, the is some chronology that works better if you wait. After season 2 watch the OVAs for season 1&2 then the movie. The current Konosuba being shown is Megumin's backstory before she made it to Kazuma's team. Sometimes experience and expertise may outweigh looks, your Amsterdam lady may have provided services the other ladies weren't yet capable of offering.
I've been wondering, have you watched Saga of Tanya the Evil (Youjo Senki)? It's a military fantasy which is essentially WW1 if they had mages that could fly and fire magic bullets.

For odd episodes, it’s the character design director himself, who is in charge of all of the anime seasons and the movie. Some people hate him for some reason, yet he’s the one who gave us the funny faces and animation style.

Radical feminists, metoo accusations, guys getting screwed over in divorce court. I feel like the reward just isn't worth the risk anymore.
