Those neck braces with the lights were handed out to all 110,000 people who showed up for the two nights of shows. You could probably find one on E-bay for a truckload of money, lol. It's so awe inspiring to see them all light up though, and even Su was shocked when she looked into the crowd at about 8:20 of the video.
I've watched this performance dozens of times and I still get my eyes moist. Those lights were neckbraces with lights that they gave with the tickets and everyone had to wear it. Notice that the first time the lights go on during the transition the girls are backstage and do not see it. When the girls see all the lights for the first time in 8:16 they all get pretty emotional. Yui looks so touched with the chest full of joy, Moa is about to cry, and it is one of those few moments Su goes off character, she looks astonished and literally jaw dropping.

When Babymetal came here in 2019, they did something different with the arrangement. Su came out by herself to just the piano, everyone turned the flashlights on their phone on, and Su sang alone on stage to the fans, venue lit by the phones, And when the tempo picked up, Moa came out and the Kami kicked in. An intimate moment in a big hall. A love letter indeed My mom told me when I was young that in a Judy Garland concert, there was a moment in each show where Judy would just sit on the front of the stage and sing to the crowd. When Su was singing alone to the crowd, I thought this is what it was like with Judy.

There is something just oddly inspiring about these tiny girls on those long walkways in the midst of 55,000 fans. So vulnerable yet SO owning the moment. Yes, it's emotional. It's a well crafted song performed by amazing musicians and performers, with amazing staging, and sung with such conviction...... I can't use the word "amazing" enough.

me think only Babymetal , a metal band that creating a song specifically for their fans. it's not some kind of anthem song like other band do but it's literally a love letter song by Babymetal to their fans and the BEST thing about this song are it's OUR SONG and nobody or any band can cover it without being part of THE ONE.
I don't now enough about their discography, but I would be surprised if Insane Clown Posse, Slipknot or Ghost had at least a song about their fans. But I think Babymetal has both the best connection with their fans on stage and not at all of stage

Su's English just gets better and better. You can hear her struggle a bit with the word "world" (with that tricky R & L combination) in this video. In recent performances, she nails the whole thing.

I have a BLUE-RAY disc from BABYMETAL's Tokyo Dome live, and the sound quality is much better than the video on the internet, so I recommend you to get it someday.

Hi Gombers. There are only a VERY small handful of singers that can project emotion and feeling on a got-tier level. Su is one, and I would say Morissette Amon is the other. They are completely different genre of music, but they are both mesmerizing to listen to and watch. I would suggest giving Morissette a try at some point as well. Babymetal in itself has changed my life in a number of ways. It is amazing that 3 little girls can have so much power. God gave them a gift and they did wonders with that gift. I don't know what Yui is up to these days, but I pray she is doing well and is happy. I hope we all hear from her again soon, even if it isn't in Babymetal. I just hope she returns in some form. This is one of my favorite songs. It always puts my heart in my throat as well, along with No Rain, No Rainbow and Akatsuki (unfinished version). This band is just so transformative. That's all I c an say about them lol

This is one of my favorite songs. It always puts my heart in my throat as well, along with No Rain, No Rainbow and Akatsuki (unfinished version). This band is just so transformative. That's all I c an say about them lol

I have watched the Tokyo Dome shows a dozen times and I am still impressed and baffled every single time. The stage, the sound, the vocals, it all was put together so well and executed with pure perfection. Seeing 55.000 people each night having a fantastic time and the three girls enjoying what they do is just incredible. Thanks for the reaction Gombers and I am looking forward to the next one.
