    I was in the market for an LT1, before i got a 2SS. You just have to be patient, take your time, and find a good dealer, and a good deal. It's out there.

    Purchased my 2020 LT1 last year used with 2k miles on it. 6spd, NPP, window's tinted, rim and tire package, 305 rear 285 front (NITTOS) w/ a carbon fiber front lip. 32k. I dropped 7k. Payment is $370 a month. Added drop springs and a sound system. Sitting with 12k miles on it looks like I can get a little over 40k for it as it sits if I wanted to sell it. Crazy!!!

      @@chrisbowen9842 damn wheel spin even with 305’s that kinda sucks. I’m probably going with Firestone firehawk Indy 500 tires soon, or I’ll just spend the extra on pilot sport 4s’s. Either way Imma stick with a 255 setup to keep my stock rims. I’ll definitely still have wheel spin but it should help. I can step on the gas about half way before I get wheelspin off the line, but can’t really get my 0-60 under 4.5 with my stock 245 all seasons

    Found the exact Camaro LT1 i wanted in Wesley Chapel and they wanted $580 a month, $0 down for 36 months. I’m gonna keep looking. Any tips for finding one for good price and negotiating?

    • @WTFCRLT1
      @WTFCRLT1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It’s definitely tougher down here man. It took me over a month of looking before I found an LT1 for a good deal. I saw several examples in the area of dealers wanting 600 per month on a LEASE. Just be patient man, eventually there will be a model that’s been sitting on a lot for a few months and it’ll get hit with a bunch of discounts. You can negotiate too, but if they’re starting at 580, you’re probably not gonna end up with a good deal. My best tip for negotiating is to simply show the dealer what the other guys are willing to sell the car for and if they can beat that. Especially if the other dealership is farther away. You can have a number in mind without any examples of offers, but showing them that you have an offer already will make them more willing to make a deal happen, since they’ll consider you a serious customer that isn’t looking to spend a lot of their time. I’m far from an expert of course, but that’s what I did for my last 2 cars and I think I got really good deals.

    There are barely any Camaro's in inventory right now. The plant that builds them is down and opening on June 21st. Expect them to start coming at the end of the month, not worth wasting time going to the dealership for nothing.

    • @WTFCRLT1

      Yeah man that chip shortage really screwed American manufacturers. Ram literally closed down their 2021 factories permanently and half the Ford/lincoln dealers don’t have a single car to sell. Hopefully this makes them change who they do business with, unless they just wanna continue cutting costs wherever possible only to get screwed in the end.

    • @WTFCRLT1
      @WTFCRLT1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can put bolt ons onto a lease. They may void your warranty, but that’d be the case for a non lease as well. Hell, you can do forced induction if you wanted to it’d just be a huge waste of money since you can’t sell the car without buying it out. Cosmetically, they’ll definitely charge you at the end of the lease if they can’t be removed without leaving any marks. So don’t do anything permanent on a lease.

      I was gonna buy one with a 6-speed but there weren’t any available. I didn’t wanna buy one with the A/10 so I just did a 0 down lease instead. I after 3 years I’ll end up paying about what I intended to drop for a down payment haha it just seemed like the smarter thing to do if I couldn’t get the car I really wanted. I usually don’t like leasing, but since what I’m paying barely covers depreciation while allowing me to keep the money I was intending to put down, it just made more sense. If the market stays the way it is, I’ll just end up extending the lease or buying out the car, although hopefully the market returns to normal and possibly allow me to get something different after the lease is up. Maybe a ZL1 or 1LE possibly haha Who knows.

      You can always buy out the car after or during your lease, however the cost is non negotiable and you have to pay the difference between what you paid on the lease, and the original sale price of the vehicle. Residual value becomes irrelevant and since the cost is non negotiable, I wouldn’t personally recommend going that route unless you REALLY love that car, or if it has somehow appreciated in value.
