    Nice update! I've got a 2020 LT1 and am well aware of the chirp you mentioned. Brake dust is a pain on my silver wheels. I didn't know oil changes were so high. They threw in 4 free changes for me when I bought mine. Still got 3 left. It helps to be old for insurance rates. Im paying less. Good work!

    • @WTFCRLT1
      @WTFCRLT1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      4 free oil changes are nice that’s almost $1000 savings if you’d only service at the dealership. The black wheels are a big help with the dust and that chirp gets annoying at times but the good certainly outweighs the bad.. Appreciate the comment!

    Thank you for this video! I just passed a year with my LT1 and still puts a huge grin on my face when I get into the car. If you are looking for quick mods, look into the red knee pads for the interior, they look awesome!

      That’s also expensive for the time and the GTO had a much smaller Oil capacity. It’s the 10 quarts that’s the killer haha but I’ll be changing my own too from now on thanks for the comment! 👍🏼

    Glad to see your still loving your car!! I still love my 2019 as well!! I was wondering if you ever got your door fixed. Sounds like its going to be something you have to live with. I was shocked to hear that oil change price though! My oil changes for my V6 are only 60 bucks at the dealership. LOL Mine also has the RS package but for the interior I also got the technology package with the larger infotainment screen and the Bose speakers. The system sounds great! As for that noise you mentioned I can't say I've ever heard anything like that before. I may look at getting a V8 once GM makes a final decision on the car's fate. But, I bought my car new and its paid for and I enjoy driving it. It still has a 0-60 time of 5.2 secs. Not shabby at all. We'll see what happens I guess.

    • @WTFCRLT1
      @WTFCRLT1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Still love it haha glad you love yours too! I’d really appreciate a $60 oil change but 10 quarts of 5w30 or 0w40 costs about that before accounting for the filter or tax. 5.2 seconds is really quick tho prior to the sticky tires, my LT1 was having trouble breaking the 5 second mark. The chirp is from the AFM cylinder deactivation which the Auto V6 should also have, but I’ve only heard the chirp complaints with the Auto v8 models. Really not a big deal especially if It helps me get good gas mileage!

      @@WTFCRLT1 If you want to change up your interior a bit I would suggest getting the Knee pad Interior Trim kit. It's a very easy replacement and makes the interior look a little more premium. They come in a few different colors. I have a pic of the before and after on my car on my insta page if you want to check it out. They are OEM too.

    What options?

  • @AB-coyote
    @AB-coyote ปีที่แล้ว

    Don’t let the fool you about Dexos oil. The majority of API rated 5w30 oils on Walmarts shelf are Dexos rated. The labor and quantity is where they get you in price. GM also started recommending Mobil 1 super car 0w40 which is more expensive but not required unless you beat the car every time you drive it or track it a lot.

    How much is your payment? You didn't do any performance testing or compare it to an SS or and RS V6.
    I have a 2020 Camaro V6 6 speed manual.
    $325 payment 2.5%
    $130 insurance (clean rec)
    $455 and uses 87 octane.
    Next time please go over the difference in sound of engine with ypur NPP quad exhaust. Does it have race mode? (MY car has NPP quad exhaust but non RS/SS do not have "race" mode in the exhaust but not sure on LT1). Can I get an LT1 with a SS spoiler and a 6 speed? Do the rear brakes have CAMARO by Brembo calipers? No offense. You are very likeable in ypur video but you went on and on in monotone. Not much fun info about different modes or even some fun driving. 🤔

    • @Mral236d
      @Mral236d ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a rev limiter at idle or in neutral on the automatic transmission camaros for 6th gen so the engine literally wont go above 3000rpm. If you buy manual thats not a problem since they dont rev limit or do the weird active fuel management. If you end up going automatic you can get those removed during a tune.
