Chevy shouldn't even offer big expensive packages on the lt1. These dealers just order them loaded up to the point that you might as well just get the SS. The dealer in my town has an LT1 marked at nearly 50k because of all the options added (yet it still has cloth seats....for 50k). Then they have a 2SS on the floor for like 5k more! Its like they WANT that LT1 to sit on the lot forever.

More than likely, rubber bushing/shroud/o-ring (whichever it's called) that tends to be around shifters under the leather. You may can get it modified or see if there's a more temp resistant rubber that you can put on.

The horn beep signals that you have the proper air pressure. GM has been doing this for a while. Also, on some GM cars the turn signal will blink too after you add the proper air pressure. Nice car I’m hoping to get one this summer!

Let it warm up until oil temp is up at least 1/4. Don’t just jump in and take off when cold. Give it 5 minutes. Gear oil is very similar to engine oil. It’s a little thicker. Don’t use the coolant temp as a guide, use oil temp.
Have to get that "winter air" in the tires when it's that cold....lol. Just know there is a bit of a delay though. A good gauge will always give you a more accurate number. Love your attitude about your car and definitely agree with what you say. Like I have said and even to you, I don't normally like a camo look on a car but your's looks really good as it is. You got a great deal, we got my wife's at the end of May and paid a couple grand more than you. I still feel we got a good deal down in central FL with the price we paid but your deal is definitely a great price for what you get.

My LT1 M6 is hard to shift and is "clunky" when it is cold too. It's fine when it warms up. 6th gear is always hard to get into even if it's warm. It grinds and is hard to get it in the gate no matter what.
Did you test drive the automatic and the six speed manual, or always want the six speed? Any negatives (except noise when cold) with the Tremec after driving it for a while?
You said in the video you have a lot of mods coming...you probably have the most bang for the buck leaving the car mostly stock. When you sell the car, mods are many times worth zero dollars to the next guy (buyer). Just something to consider.

This was in August, only one month after I purchased the BMW for $19000. I paid sales tax of about $1500 on top of that. So in case I wanted to immediately trade in my car I would have lost basically the money I paid for the sales tax. Duh!! Now guess what - if I wanted to sell the car to a private party there is no way I sell for more than what I just paid - around $19k!! Which btw was in the middle of the Kelley Blue Book value of the car! I guess I could ask $19500, but with negotiation still sell for $19k. My point is - "losing" the tax money I just paid is inevitable. But I yeah - could have saved $200 (19000 - 18800). But also I could've driven off the lot with a brand new STI AT THAT VERY SAME AFTERNOON. You need to get trans temps up. Once it’s at temp then it’s good. I would not get on it until the car is at temps on engine and trans (oils)

Btw, I did check the value of my beemer now. Today it would be a better deal for me to sell it to a private party, but I only put 800 miles on the car and it's in excellent condition, and XDrive with a lot of snow around here. There's only one more similar beemer for sale in 200 miles perimeter but it has 56k miles, no XDrive.
