@2:55, I think another important reason to play Stockade instead of Guard tower is you don't want Giza to be able to play 2 reds, and since he has 1 guard tower in his hand, it is better to give him another guard tower that he cannot play. Also, you would like your opposite guy to play red, and guard tower is accessible to him at the moment while stockade is not.
Spoiler: I thought it was an interesting take to consider Papyrus in the 1st age, but at the same time, we don't know if Alexandria wants to splash green or not, so I think it is too soon for that.
Great video as usual Jan. I am really curious as to what is the mistake you mention in the end. Knowing the final scores, if we do not hide the courthouse we we will be pain one gold by alexandria (I assume alexandria plays it for 1 gold) , so we will be able to play academy in our last hand and be p1. However, I do not think this is a mistake, because despite losing red on both sides, Alexandria was still a threat at this point of the game.
I don't think you played wrong in age 3, (assuming it is real-time game), I just don't think we can process and plan so many things with such limited time.
My guess for the mistake is that you could pick academy age3hand2…and this way you are surely wheeling a pick on last hand and if gizah thinks he is short on coins then he picks senate ahead of workers g which gives you 1 coin more and 2 coin less to ephesos and with the additional coin you could be able to build a 6 pointer on last hand

That is a very good line, but I think to make it it requires the knowledge of the card order :) I was actually thinking of something simpler
