Arizona Road Trip |From Vegas to Sedona

In January 2022, my boyfriend and I took a road trip from our home in California to Sedona Arizona. Of course, we had to drive along the famous Route 66 and stop for as many pictures and drone shots of the amazing landscape at sunset as we could. We arrived in Sedona after dark and had no idea the beauty that awaited us. While there, we took a drive to Jerome, a historic mining town about an hour outside of the city. Founded in1876, Jerome was at one time the fourth largest city in Arizona. Now this “ghost town” is a tourist favorite with plenty of shops and sites to see.
No trip to Sedona is complete without a visit to Airport Mesa at sunset with its amazing views of Cathedral Rock, Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock, Chimney Rock, and Coffee Pot Rock.
