Ya know..when I was a teenager back in the late 70's riding my Schwinn cruiser that was rebuilt using alloy BMX cruiser components riding the dirt trails and hills around Whittier Narrows park, we used to think we were pretty cool riding hills and trails and places when everyone else was either stuck riding expensive Varsity's in traffic or jumping their Murrey BMXs off little dirt piles, but I'll tell you, the stuff these young guys are doing today, this, Redbull Rampage, ya know, makes me feel like I might have well have been in an iron lung being pulled by a clydsedale, these boys today are AMAZING! Signed, now officially really old fart biker LOL
Haha we did the same thing in San Diego. I had a long tough built Huffy I got in the late 60s. It started life as an Easy Rider sissy bar bike. In the early 70s I stripped it, painted a dark metallic blue and black and upgrade it with BMX everything. It was the envy of the neighborhood. You could have jumped it off a cliff and that frame would not brake. I know I tried it. Things were fun back then. No one knew what safety meant, we all just piled into the back of a pickup with our bikes and headed out to the desert for a bottle rocket gun fight.
Watch Ryder Yes, but I'll never do that freestyle Pacific Northwest stuff with ramps and teeter totters or that Rampage stuff with huge drop offs of cliffs... these days I am way more info Flow style riding ;-) BTW still have that old Schwinn, it's been rebuilt umpemth times with all my old MTB parts, in fact I have to replace the front shock, the Manitou 1 finally gave up the ghost and I can't find anyone to rebuild it again, no parts nowhere, so its getting an RST next :-D
KlunkerRider. they're amazingly stupid...one slip...one wrong move...they won't be reminiscing at age 60...cause they killed themselves at age 20 or so
I dont know he is hero or insane. But he do the thing that every one dares not do. That calls courage. He challenges the great nature. So respect to him.
Gratulacje i potępienie.
The wide angle lens distorts the image substantially. From other videos and photos it's actually about 45°, with a very narrow flat ledge. He's not the first to do this. There is no room for error though. Certainly not for me, even when I was young and dumb and rode a lot.
I get nervous and sweaty just watching this…especially when he pointed his bike DOWN the mountain to get to the lower tier. I would NEVER allow my son to do stuff like this. I want him around for awhile to enjoy in my old age. Sheesh
Never mind the cliff he's riding on, he's got control over that, what I'm more worried about is the fact that this man is being chased by what seems like a million bees!
He went out and back, whats likely a couple hundred yards. From the side view it's not the shear drop that it appears to be from the straight on view. So this was a look at me stunt plain and simple.
Don't worry guys, he was perfectly safe, he had his helmet on
ROFL XD
"he was perfectly safe, he had his helmet on" the best so far!!!
u man made my day :D
Roberta Barbosa Seidl Gohn Alves ...is your statement a joke?//only a helm on.....kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
aguinaldo silva helmet on*****
clearly he is trying to escape the swarm of bees that is following him
ahah man I laughed my ass off
+mike g LOL!
Like a Hitchcock film
in the 70s riding the white line meant something else
SuperEROQ
Truckers term AND tweekers.
SuperEROQ he was riding both white lines obviously
Cocaine to be clear
Holy shit! This biker has impressive control and nerves of steel. The talent that this must require really amazes me.
oh sure, he's a hero if he makes it, but if he falls and dies, then everyone is like he was clearly insane.
People are lazy that way.
Nah, still insane.
No. He's insane regardless.
Whoever said heroes were sane?
xevious2501 It is a fine line between hero and insane when it comes to stunts.

Do you still ride those old bones on the bike now?
Watch Ryder Yes, but I'll never do that freestyle Pacific Northwest stuff with ramps and teeter totters or that Rampage stuff with huge drop offs of cliffs... these days I am way more info Flow style riding ;-)

Punctuation is your friend.
KlunkerRider. they're amazingly stupid...one slip...one wrong move...they won't be reminiscing at age 60...cause they killed themselves at age 20 or so
What made it even more daring is that he did it while being followed by a swarm of bees!
palms are sweaty...
Knees weak, arms are heavy.
Vomit on his sweater already, moms spaghetti
He's nervous
but on the surface he looks calm...
And ready...
I find the helmet unnecessary
Audio: Spectacular. Thanks for taking me there, Marhsall. Thanks.
Met this guy at Whistler like four years ago and got to ride top of the world with him. . Awesome dude. So many views now wow!
InCREDIBLE!! Great Drone Footage & Balls of Steel on the Bike!!
Polak potrafi - jestem dumny. Wielkie brawa dla Ciebie Michale.
wow! I was nervous just watching this! Great job guys! Michal you have balls of steel lol!!!
Brian Williams did this once or twice.
While he was drunk too.
Samuel Jackson Brewery he was controlling the drone the whole time.
On a unicycle and blindfolded while he was juggling bowling pins and riding backwards
James Foard
I did that once too. I was also knitting a sweater at the same time.
That's because Brian Williams is a super human.
These guys aren't the only one to ride this line. It's fairly popular with locals and visitors a like.
I felt so comfortable watching this video...
When he started going down the mountain, I was like "Holy shit, he's dead"
Incredible. ( im also from Cracow). Watching this video is better than few espressos
WOW, great control. Such a huge risk factor to this. Great looking shot.
Dałeś rade Michał ! :) Powodzenia z następnymi zjazdami
Masz wielkie cojones mistrzu. Aż mi się dłonie spociły :)
Wow!!! I almost peed on me just by watching this. Especially when he decided to take the second line...😱
I dont know he is hero or insane. But he do the thing that every one dares not do. That calls courage. He challenges the great nature. So respect to him.
My palms got sweaty watching this. And it looked like he went just a little further out on the turn than he should have.
That was awesome. Welcome to the west where we do crazy things in the red rocks.
Gratulacje i potępienie.
I have been there and walked it.... made my stomach turn and I used to be a platform diver... trust your treads!
Did he escape the swarm of bees?
awesome job budy. you're a mountain king !
Ohh Bro... he's a hero man.
You're a few millimeters away from this being a liveleak video...
That's insane :-). I'm dying of vertigo only seeing at the PC screen.
Brought to you by "Nope!", the official extreme cycling drink of the "Nope Train".
That was amazing pure genius would never rode a bike on the Grand Canyon
This reminds me of ATV on Ps2 when you could do stunts...those were the good ole days
"So, uh Larry, why DO they call this the Doom trail"?
This is truly amazing though - demonstrating humanity crossing limits.
Nice layers!
This Guy Is Brave.
The sound that the drone makes is freaking me out.
Incredible!
if you notice what he does at 00:25, you can tell he is a very skilled rider
foreal? I thought he just learned how yesterday
On vit une époque formidable !
What does he wear the helmet for?
I saw this (from below) last year and wondered if the "white line" was just an urban legend. Now we know better!!
Wow. This guy must have nerves of steel. Mine are shot just by watching the video.
They'd be calling it The Brown Line Trail once I got done making that ride. 😁
Very nice video *****
INCREDIBLE!!!
I’ve been here and it’s stepper than it looks
Sophie Hamilton. looks damn near vertical to me
Was the rider wearing a camera? Would be so cool to see the POV on this!
Sounds like an army of mosquitoes chasing him..
The wide angle lens distorts the image substantially. From other videos and photos it's actually about 45°, with a very narrow flat ledge. He's not the first to do this. There is no room for error though. Certainly not for me, even when I was young and dumb and rode a lot.
Nothing distorted about this footage except it is even MORE extreme in person. I was there today.
I wonder if there's a pile of mangled bikes down the bottom somewhere...
He's the best!!!
Even the drone was like: *"BZZZ-BZZZ FUCK THAT!"*
Darwin says "You got away from me this time, Mr. Kollbek. But I'm keeping my eye on you."
crazy! whats the camera?
Maybe a drone
Nick Benz Definitely a drone, I meant what is the camera attached to the drone :)
i may, or may not have shit myself just watching this video
Have you dared to check yet?
I’ll never understand how anyone could try this...
...with balls that big.
You must be kidding me. Wow! That guy is crazy.
Amazing, how did he get the bike up there?
If my Boyz ever did this, I would lose my mind!
what is the grade on the slope?
Brilliant!
Some people don't truly feel alive until they're on the brink of death. They're doing what they love and yet people call them idiots and judge them.
WOW! Awesome video! :-D
(By the way you could add royalty free background music to this in the YT editor to make it even better ;-))
Must have been an amazing view. Was he wearing a helmet front mount?
My feet got cold just watching this
balls of steel
Maybe that's what kept him weighed down against the mountain.
He should get a prize for something. Hopefully nobody is crazy enough to copy him.
Does his parachute deploy from that thing on his head ?
ThankYou?
Crazy man, just crazy!
RESPECT!!
Excellent
Just followed the sign "Brake Test Ramp"!
Any chance my side by side fits on this trail?
I get nervous and sweaty just watching this…especially when he pointed his bike DOWN the mountain to get to the lower tier. I would NEVER allow my son to do stuff like this. I want him around for awhile to enjoy in my old age. Sheesh
Unfortunately you don't get to dictate your children's lives.
Now THAT'S what I call a BEER RUN!!
its probably more difficult to get there how to get out of there.... so where is that vid? :)
That's crazy. I'd never do that
That's impressive, lucky, or something. But does he really need a helmet?
Poles are pretty awesome.. being one myslef
That's not a trail, gentlemen. It's the water eroding the rock for millions of years.
Amazing helmet
Brian Williams was there
That looks terrifying.
I can't seem to find the bees buzzing.
Wait, is that it???
Wtf!? Is that a drone?
Never mind the cliff he's riding on, he's got control over that, what I'm more worried about is the fact that this man is being chased by what seems like a million bees!
TheDustyMuffinsss ya...the killer kind....
Living on the edge!
He went out and back, whats likely a couple hundred yards. From the side view it's not the shear drop that it appears to be from the straight on view. So this was a look at me stunt plain and simple.
Are u using a drone to record cuz it sounds a lot like one
