My wife of 44 years got me onto your Pilates site 5 years ago when i had bad movement in my hips. your video from Hawaii. I have never looked back. I do your videos at least 3 times a week. Thank you Jessica from down under Australia
Honestly, as a runner who never stretched, these videos have actually changed my life. After just a few weeks of doing these exercises every day my long standing lower back pain is gone. Just gone. I can feel now how tight my hips and hamstrings are but I had no idea how much they were affecting my back! Thank you so much! I'm a stretcher for life now!
Thank you Jessica for all your videos ! For the first time in my life , I’ve been working out for over a month !! This is really because of you and your energy! Any other pilates videos are just not the same. You motivate me so much
Thank you for explaining the moves and the reasons behind them. Thank you for not playing music. i enjoy your routines, your personal stories, and your humor. Thank you.
I am new, (and I long story, 32yo Female when I had an emergency back surgery for Caudia Equina Symdrome,) I have been doing beginner yoga for about a mouth and while I enjoy it, it is so much more enriching for me that you are telling other ways, and adding some support to make it easier for me. I have fully recovered from the spinal compression, but my left leg was practically paralized for 2 years with bad nerve damage. I am writing this before trying the session, updating after. ** I was able to keep up WAY better than I expected, to my shock I was able to put my elbos on the ground on both sides, in the one lunge. At 1st assesment I was right near my ankles, after I was able to ALMOST flat palm the ground! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video! I have always been really ashamed of my right hamstrings and hips, and your gentle guidance through all your videos helps me take care of myself. 💞
Yay a new hamstring video by you! I watch your other video about 3 to 4 times a week to help control my tight hamstring pain! I'm a nurse so standing for 12 hours gets rough. Thank you for sharing. I've been watching your videos for about 2 years now! ❤
I have notoriously tight hamstrings. I do most of these stretches. My takeaway from this video is that working with tight hamstrings and hip flexors and for me the opposing muscle group ie: quads is definitely a journey but well worth it. Nice video, thoroughly enjoyed it. ❤
I was so pleased, I did notice the difference. I suffer with tight hamstrings and hip flexors so I will definitely do these exercises again, Thank you.
I am literally crying with relief right now. I have felt "disabled" by knee and sciatic pain for the first time in my life (I'm 62) and your kind, simple words have given me hope. Bless you!
I appreciate your perspective as a physiotherapist and explaining how different muscles and joints are connected. Very helpful! I have tight everything, especially hamstrings, hip flexors, and lower back so I feel great after this session! I was able to put my hands down on the floor at the end so it made a big difference. Thank you
Thank you so much for this video! These stretches feel so good!! And I can feel the difference after just doing it once. I’m going to make this part of my morning routine! ❤
This made me cry, Its been so long since I’ve been able to touch my toes because of how tight my hamstrings are. Assuming I hold so much stress there, it felt so good to touch my big toes! 🥲 thank you, I will keep doing this!😊
I have just stumbled upon your videos yesterday and have completed a few of them yesterday and today. I have to say, I have fallen in love with your videos and exercises! I have been doing pilates online for a while now, but your exercises have helped me in ways that no others have. I love that you go back to basics and work with the whole body that in turn helps with specific areas or issues. We often forget that the whole body is involved, not just one part. Too often I find people are focused on the end goal, what a pose or position will look like, that we often compromise our bodies' form to achieve them. Even though these exercises may seem "small", I have already noticed a big difference. More importantly, I feel the difference! I feel looser, stronger, and more at ease physically and mentally. I even find my muscles shaking with some of your exercises, as I am now deeply engaging them. Before, I feel I would simply pass through the motion or compensate by using other muscles. I love that your videos are short and sweet too, making it really accessible to do everyday - as it is important to work our bodies a little bit everyday to make the biggest impact! Thanks for your videos and for sharing your knowledge! I look forward to your future videos.
Does this exercise also work for correcting uneven hips? My right hip is higher than my left and it’s causing some pinching in the lower right side of my back.
I love all your videos. Been using for months. But my hamstrings are horrible - especially since I do some running. But that first move toward the beginning where you lift your knee then rotate to the side and down, I swear I feel something pop. Like it's popping over something. Kind of jarring and uncomfortable. Does that mean I have bad hips?

Great video.! Theses moves hit the spot of those very tight hamstrings!
I did this video for 60 days, cured my hamstring injury!
What does it mean if I feel something pulling and grinding against bones when lifting knees and rotating ?
Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!

My legs are sore after doing this for a few days, maybe that means the stretching is working?
✅💚
Does anyone else gets the ads that suddenly plays and interrupts the exercise ?😲
I touched the floor with my finger tips . My legs are about an inch and a half longer🎉
