Okay well here are my opinions: 1st, thank you Ms. Finley for your assessment with our Miss Philippines. Been watching your videos lately. And you are correct about Gazini, she's a force to reckon with. If you don't know, Gazini had never never seen as a front runner. Patch Magtanong was the girl to beat during Bb. Pilipinas. However, as Gazini performed on the stage she drastically changed into someone that you never expected. Her Bikini Walk was outstanding and captivating. Now during evening gown, she exudes too much aura that magnetize everyone. Just look with her freaking eyes! She knows how to emote on stage. With her Q and A I think she did well, she just added something that made her answer kinda off but still she answered it well. With the competition, you are correct. I could say that if our Miss Philippines will be called in the Top 15/20 it'll be a knock out slayage in the stage. No doubt, she'll continue to Top 5.Now, here's where the real game will start. If Puerto Rico, Brazil, South Africa or Thailand will be there on stage they could steal the spotlight from the Philippines. These ladies are so well spoken. But of course, Philippines will catch up. Yeah she's not that well spoken as Catriona. But she was already been coached by different brilliant coaches here in the Philippines. Moving forward, I could see that Philippines will be there in the top 3. Along with Thailand, Brazil/South Africa. It'll be a rough fight this year. I have not felt that vibe from Gazini. Now I even noticed (I maybe wrong) that she gained some weight. I am not body-shaming her but knowing the calibre of other contestants, that may be trouble for her. And I still think she cringes when she speaks. There is no confidence there. Upon saying that, I am still looking forward to her performance and so are the other girls.

In terms of her body, I believed it's the toning that's why she gained a little bit. The definition of bones is still there. So I have no problem with her in gaining some weight. Caliber? Just look with Miss Brazil, she's not even that thin compared to Miss Puerto Rico or Miss Albania but still she looks gorgeous. In terms of speaking she has improved a lot. Maybe she's not well spoken or eloquent like Catriona, but you know she has improved. I've seen that with some of her latest videos and some critics noticed that as well.So I think she's doing well.

It's like she is more concern about perfecting her English pronunciation than thinking of what she needs to say. I may be wrong but you're not highly right either, especially when you thought I might be blinded by those candidates whose English is better, like you said, "freaking" good, when there is Pia who is not from the west and was still able to deliver well-thought-out answers.
@@fv6125 pia is a half german and lived there since her childhoood and migrated in the phils when her parents facing some troublesome so her native language is english and she is not good at it she is smart by marketing her comskills . Gazini improved and thats the point of her training perfecting her flaws atleast she can hold and elaborate thoughts very well now than ever if you saw her send off presscon and most important she is showing more personality . she cant pleased everyone to like her and i'll take this as a constructive criticism .

I think, one of the confidence booster of miss ph is the audience, you know how crazy filipinos are when it comes to miss universe. Every time miss🇵🇭 is coming out of the stage, audience goes wild, that brings her confidence one notch higher than the other girls, this year's edition is no exception as it will be held again in the usa. With over 4 million filipinos living in the u.s im sure the live audience will be dominated again by filipinos.

You made me go back to that very moment. It was surreal! Miss thailand is copying everything from Catriona Gray. Tjailand tries to be childish, friendly and she sees to it that she is where the most noisy group is. She tries hard to be seen. She is coquettish and loud. So overacting and fake. YET HOWEVER SHE TRIES TO COPY, SHE CAN NEVER COPY THE INTELLIGENCE AND HUMILITY OF A FILIPINA. NEVER.
There are 3 categories of MU pageant. 1.swimsuit 2. Evening gown 3.Q and A How you will get to Q and A if you will not Slay Swimsuit and Evening gown. You are right there and that's what makes Philippines so Dangerous. I'm not from Philippines but I watched already MU in venues. What makes Philippines dangerous in MU is Changing the Game so Suprisingly that will knocked other candidates off. They look weak and Underdogs except Catriona but during the Finals they will beat your there. With Q and A, sometimes oversmart people are expected to answer well with questions but most of the time they were the one who will cracked down due to pressure except again Catriona Gray. She is the total whole package as far as MU winners are concerned. They Produce runners up already from trump era. 3 1st runner ups and 4 MU from Asia and Pacific which means they are totally dangerous. I agree everything you say here and even other pageant beauty Analyst like Sierra Barchel Miss Canada Universe and Reena Sanchez Miss USA Universe they never removed Philippines for top 20 or 10 even this 2019 because they can Play the game so well. Catriona Gray is different when I did watched her in Thailand you knew already the day she arrived that she will dominate. Its just a matter of waiting for the crown to be put on her head. She waited only to finished the Q and A wirh South Africa and Venezuela just for formality sake. As far as Gazini, they keep undestimating her, again, they should not, actually she is the most dangerous candidate because she can Slay both Swimsuit and Evening gown, if she can do that she can easily go to top 5 with out noticing her and that's everyone's ball game once she entered top 5. She is from Philippines they are NOT stupid to put her there instead of Patch Magtanong who is a lawyer because they focus first in preliminary and beginning of the competition they are targeting on to get to Top 20 and 10 not the other candidates they are thinking immediately of the crown and that's trouble because that's makes you vulnerable and that's the right time Philippines will strike forward with a kill because they have already the confidence. Probably you will see Unconventional winner and that is PHILIPPINES and they are only the country right now that can do Back to Back but need power and consistency. Philippines and Thailand and South Africa are the one to beat its not the Latinas . The more they underestimate Gazini the better because she will NOT feel the pressure nor the back to back that makes her more. relax and go for the Kill. Random Roars Miss Thailand was the 8th finalist, in Miss Earth 2017, but when it was her turn to answer the question, "What is millennial", she was not able to give the correct answer, instead she was talking about the change of climate which was irrelevant. She is intelligent and articulate, but look what happened? She lose the crown to Miss Philippines. It wasn't that she's into bigger thing, it was because she was not able to produce the correct answer to her question so she did not win.
Can she improved herself ? In Miss earth 2017 the question is millennial.Yes,she cannot answer but she is Miss Earth Hannah's 2017,whish has question and Top 4 Pre-judging Intelligence.I think she isn't sure 1 word and you can't judge someone's intelligence.She got a First Class Honors in Bachelor's Degree of Kinesiology and GPA 3.95 too.

I just love how humble our Ms. Universe Philippines 2019, Gazini Ganados. When she was ask whether she can give the Philippines a back-to-back win she didn't claim it but instead she said "Ilalaban natin yan" meaning no matter what happen she will fight for it. I think this is a good attitude and is a good thing that she's not underestimating her other competitors. Laban Pilipinas! Goodluck to all the girls who will represents their countries.

They are regal, and classy (effortless) like Venus Raj, Janine, Shamcey, Pia, Catriona. Miss Thailand is another strong candidate. She is beautiful, very engaging, smart. Hi there Davonna, I am from the Philippines and I totally agree with what you said in your vlog. Let me just point out that there are two (2) major beauty training camps in the Philippines, the Kagandahan Flores (who trained Miss Universe Philippines Mary Jean Lastimosa, Rachel Peters and Gazini Ganados). The other one is Aces & Queens which trained Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup, Janine Tugonon, Ariela Arida and Pia Wurtzbach, who were all top 5 finishers with Pia bagging the MU crown). Catriona Gray had been under the Aces & Queens camp when she competed for Miss World but decided to hecome independent of any camps when she trained for MU 2018. I heard tho that for Gazini, the two camps agreed to cooperate to train her in the hope to get a B2B win. With your keen and perceptible eye, you could have noticed a slight difference in the overall performance of Gazini from the rest of the Aces & Queens winners I've mentioned earlier. If you haven't, then that goes to prove that indeed Gazini is well trained by BOTH camps. While it was the first time that a Miss Universe Philippines (Catriona Gray) trained INDEPENDENTLY and went on to win MU 2018, this time around a Miss Universe Philippines (Gazini Ganados) was trained by BOTH CAMPS, which is alsoba first in Philippines beauty pageantry, and with this background, I am hopeful that Gazini Ganados will go on to get the MU 2019 title, a first B2B win for the Philippines and IMG as well. But it is also possible that IMG will want to crown its first black MU (most probably Miss South Africa based on your unbiased assessment) with the fact that MU 2019 will be held in Tyler Perry's (a black) Convention Center in predominantly black (?) Atlanta, Georgia. So the significant question is: will IMG want a first B2B record or first Black MU under its management? That is what we are going to watch out for with bated breath.

As an unbiased pageant fan I detest the thought that IMG would select any winner based on anything other than performance. I at one point had a video on this exact subject and may now have to re-film and post it. No matter who it is or who I am, I under No circumstances would I approve of IMG crowning a queen Who did not earn it purely on merits and her skills in competition. Miss Ireland will win Miss Universe 2019 title with Miss puerto Rico as 1st runner up and Miss philippines as 2nd runner up! Top 5 includes Miss Thailand and Miss Brazil. Top 10 includes Miss USA, Miss Chile, Miss Mexico, Miss colombia and Miss Albania. The winners gown and the first runner up will be different due to its unusual dark colors.
I think Ms. Philippines is the really one to watch out here. Although there are many pageant analysts and critics have doubt on gazini, im sure she will give a surprise on final event. Just like Pia of MU 2015 edit: Ms. Philippines must also be active on her social media platforms
Miss Peru Universe was elected in late October, not too many people has seen her yet and how beautiful and how well prepared she is. You are right, she is a well-spoken woman in the Spanish language, but her English is some how basic. She is very smart and she will for sure use a translator during competition. Go Peru 🇵🇪

I like beauty pageants and I’m African but I think the problem with it in our community is first the swimwear part as it is too revealing for us even though our ancestors were okay with being half naked but it’s not like that anymore, in comparison we’re the same as middle-eastern countries. And second and most important is the economy , even the simple modeling is not thriving in our countries so imagine a beauty pageantry!! Angola was doing very before they even had first runner-up in 2007 with Micaela Reis and a winner in 2011 with Leila Lopes but since nothing.
I think Phil is well prepared I can see the confidence in MS Philippines still the girl who hard to beat she a bomb how exciting to watch how ms Philippines play the game if she enter the top 5 its game over

I think, one of the confidence booster of miss ph is the audience, you know how crazy filipinos are when it comes to miss universe. Every time miss🇵🇭 is coming out of the stage, audience goes wild, that brings her confidence one notch higher than the other girls, this year's edition is no exception as it will be held again in the usa. With over 4 million filipinos living in the u.s im sure the live audience will be dominated again by filipinos.

How you will get to Q and A if you will not Slay Swimsuit and Evening gown. You are right there and that's what makes Philippines so Dangerous.
I'm not from Philippines but I watched already MU in venues. What makes Philippines dangerous in MU is Changing the Game so Suprisingly that will knocked other candidates off. They look weak and Underdogs except Catriona but during the Finals they will beat your there.
With Q and A, sometimes oversmart people are expected to answer well with questions but most of the time they were the one who will cracked down due to pressure except again Catriona Gray. She is the total whole package as far as MU winners are concerned.
They Produce runners up already from trump era. 3 1st runner ups and 4 MU from Asia and Pacific which means they are totally dangerous. I agree everything you say here and even other pageant beauty Analyst like Sierra Barchel Miss Canada Universe and Reena Sanchez Miss USA Universe they never removed Philippines for top 20 or 10 even this 2019 because they can Play the game so well.
Catriona Gray is different when I did watched her in Thailand you knew already the day she arrived that she will dominate. Its just a matter of waiting for the crown to be put on her head. She waited only to finished the Q and A wirh South Africa and Venezuela just for formality sake.
As far as Gazini, they keep undestimating her, again, they should not, actually she is the most dangerous candidate because she can Slay both Swimsuit and Evening gown, if she can do that she can easily go to top 5 with out noticing her and that's everyone's ball game once she entered top 5. I'm not afraid of her as far as Q and A, the smart ladies should be afraid because of the pressure they are expected to Smashed Gazini in Communication skills but the problem is the Consistency across the board. She is from Philippines they are NOT stupid to put her there instead of Patch Magtanong who is a lawyer because they focus first in preliminary and beginning of the competition they are targeting on to get to Top 20 and 10 not the other candidates they are thinking immediately of the crown and that's trouble because that's makes you vulnerable and that's the right time Philippines will strike forward with a kill because they have already the confidence. Probably you will see Unconventional winner and that is PHILIPPINES and they are only the country right now that can do Back to Back but need power and consistency.
Philippines and Thailand and South Africa are the one to beat its not the Latinas . The more they underestimate Gazini the better because she will NOT feel the pressure nor the back to back that makes her more. relax and go for the Kill. FAHSAI PAWEENSUDA DROIUN is the full force to reckon with. If she will manage to have a better Fluidity with her Pasarela Thailand is also tough to Beat.She is the Whole package.
Miss South Africa, if you watched her competition she nailed it both area of competition.she will be on the top. Black representative that probably give you the first Black Miss Universe under IMG.

Random Roars Miss Thailand was the 8th finalist, in Miss Earth 2017, but when it was her turn to answer the question, "What is millennial", she was not able to give the correct answer, instead she was talking about the change of climate which was irrelevant. She is intelligent and articulate, but look what happened? She lose the crown to Miss Philippines.
It wasn't that she's into bigger thing, it was because she was not able to produce the correct answer to her question so she did not win.

When she was ask whether she can give the Philippines a back-to-back win she didn't claim it but instead she said "Ilalaban natin yan" meaning no matter what happen she will fight for it. Hi there Davonna, I am from the Philippines and I totally agree with what you said in your vlog. Let me just point out that there are two (2) major beauty training camps in the Philippines, the Kagandahan Flores (who trained Miss Universe Philippines Mary Jean Lastimosa, Rachel Peters and Gazini Ganados). The other one is Aces & Queens which trained Venus Raj, Shamcey Supsup, Janine Tugonon, Ariela Arida and Pia Wurtzbach, who were all top 5 finishers with Pia bagging the MU crown). Catriona Gray had been under the Aces & Queens camp when she competed for Miss World but decided to hecome independent of any camps when she trained for MU 2018. I heard tho that for Gazini, the two camps agreed to cooperate to train her in the hope to get a B2B win. With your keen and perceptible eye, you could have noticed a slight difference in the overall performance of Gazini from the rest of the Aces & Queens winners I've mentioned earlier. If you haven't, then that goes to prove that indeed Gazini is well trained by BOTH camps. While it was the first time that a Miss Universe Philippines (Catriona Gray) trained INDEPENDENTLY and went on to win MU 2018, this time around a Miss Universe Philippines (Gazini Ganados) was trained by BOTH CAMPS, which is alsoba first in Philippines beauty pageantry, and with this background, I am hopeful that Gazini Ganados will go on to get the MU 2019 title, a first B2B win for the Philippines and IMG as well. But it is also possible that IMG will want to crown its first black MU (most probably Miss South Africa based on your unbiased assessment) with the fact that MU 2019 will be held in Tyler Perry's (a black) Convention Center in predominantly black (?) Atlanta, Georgia. So the significant question is: will IMG want a first B2B record or first Black MU under its management? That is what we are going to watch out for with bated breath.

As a black woman I would adore seeing a dark skin women win miss universe and in her natural hair at that. As an unbiased pageant fan I detest the thought that IMG would select any winner based on anything other than performance. I at one point had a video on this exact subject and may now have to re-film and post it. No matter who it is or who I am, I under No circumstances would I approve of IMG crowning a queen Who did not earn it purely on merits and her skills in competition.

I like beauty pageants and I’m African but I think the problem with it in our community is first the swimwear part as it is too revealing for us even though our ancestors were okay with being half naked but it’s not like that anymore, in comparison we’re the same as middle-eastern countries. And second and most important is the economy , even the simple modeling is not thriving in our countries so imagine a beauty pageantry!! Angola was doing very before they even had first runner-up in 2007 with Micaela Reis and a winner in 2011 with Leila Lopes but since nothing.
