1) Sun exposure: The tone of your skin becomes uneven when you spend more time in the sun without any sun protection. Your skin can also become dark because of pollution. Sometimes hormonal fluctuations or hormonal sensitivity can also lead to pigmented spots, especially in women.
2) Acne or pimples can cause pigmentation which is known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
3) Some people have a habit of washing their faces many times or people dry their skin by rubbing with a towel. Their skin tone becomes uneven usually on the forehead and cheeks.
4) Some cosmetics or medications can cause side effects and allergies which can lead to the darkening of the skin.
5) Aging is also one of the main causes of uneven skin tone. The production of collagen in your skin decreases due to aging. Therefore, your skin becomes dull because of aging.
You can easily follow some tips to manage your uneven skin tone and uneven skin texture.
1) Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 before stepping out in the sun. Apply sunscreen 15 minutes before going out. Reapply it every 2-3 hours.
2) Then you need to exfoliate your skin at least once a week. Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells and lighten your skin tone.
3) Vitamin C is the best antioxidant that can protect your skin from the damage caused due to free radicals. It can also reduce the signs of aging and prevent uneven skin tone. You can use vitamin C serum before going to bed.
4) You can use niacinamide, retinol, tretinoin and zinc glycinate containing skincare products that can control excess melanin production.
5) Do not use these products without consulting your dermatologist.
6) You need to take care of your diet also. Avoid unhealthy, oily or greasy food. Eat seasonal fresh fruits, dry fruits, vegetables that contain vitamins and minerals.
7) Drink 3-4 liters of water a day which helps you to keep yourself hydrated.
8) Follow a healthy lifestyle and a good skincare routine.
9) Exercise regularly which helps to improve your blood circulation.
If your skin tone or skin texture has become worse then you need aggressive treatments to treat it. You can also opt for medical procedures.
Chemical peels, Microdermabrasion and Microneedling are the most effective and safe treatments. Different types of lasers like Q switch ND YAG 1064, pico lasers, erbium glass 1550 laser, CO2 laser, Fraxel laser resurfacing can be used to treat uneven skin tone.
Chemical peels can remove dead skin layers of the skin and even out the tone and the texture of your skin. These peels are made of mandelic acid, TCA or salicylic acid which helps to remove pigmentation. The outermost layer of the skin is removed in the Microdermabrasion procedure. It can reduce the uneven texture of the skin. Laser treatments help to reduce uneven skin texture and fine scars. They promote collagen production in the skin and improves the overall appearance of the skin.
You need to observe the changes in your skin tone. If your skin tone is uneven or if you have severe pigmentation then there is a possibility that you might suffer from Melasma, acanthosis or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Only wash my face with water and then I apply coconut oil as a moisturizer and I have dry skin coconut oil also work as a sunscreen it have SPF 5 so u can try and my skin type is dry if u have also dry skin u can try my idea and for facepack u can use lemon besan and pinch of turmeric powder

1st of all in this age we have lots of doubt about our body so called society beauty standard. We all are beautiful the way we are. I would suggest u to Just hydrate ur skin with moisturizer and use sunscreen before exposing to sunlight. Wash ur face with gentle wash wash twice or thrice a day .... before bed it's must and moisture it after that. Drink lots of water and eat healthy. Don't use any pharmacy product still u can use natural exploitater like rice flour with besan and milk with pinch of haldi and gently massage it in circular manner also on ur neck, Follow by moisturizing. It will be beneficial for u for sure....our skin tone is beautiful just use pure or glowing karna he with healthy habits 💓🙌
