I love your channel and how reasonable and relatable you are ❤ Personally, I find it very stressful when I see creators constantly buying new yarn and starting million projects in every episode they film. I stopped watching most of the crafty channels because they were giving me anxiety. Watching your videos is so refreshing and relaxing! When I found your channel, it felt like making friends with someone who has similar values like myself and is super cool to hang out with. Thank you for this and any other video that you have made so far. As for pet sweaters, I think it’s a great way of using up scraps. Plus, who wouldn’t like to have matching outfits with their furbabies? It’s the coolest thing ever 😊
This is the most ridiculous, wholesome and well thought out video on how to create something for a being notorious for being picky. As a cat mom of two, I'm now tempted to make sweaters for them when I never have before. Also that pastel/rainbow sweater you held up as an example around 9:24 is just so adorable. And I really like the design of that
Another fun one, thanks. We are in Maine and have a golden retriever that would most likely except the challenge of how quickly he could tear it off and destroy it. I made a puppy sweater for a friend years ago, our boys played travel hockey together and her she would smuggle her dog into arenas in her purse. Fond memories.
Oh my goodness! Those matching sweaters y'all have are just too stinkin' cute!!! I absolutely love your channel. Its just so refreshing to have found it. 💛💛💛
This is the crafting content I needed! (As I sit on my couch with both a crochet prject and a cat on my lap 😂) TY algorithm. I tried a cat sweater once a while ago and my cat hated it. So far what I've learned is my first mistake was using cotton yarn (too stiff), I made two arm holes (uncomfy, hard to put on), and probly compounding the yarn choice was crocheting instead of knitting bc knitting drapes better. Adding this back to my list of things to try!
I found your channel recently, and you have become my morning knit youtube ♥I don't often find time to knit, but watching your videos gets me so feeling knitting! Thank you 💓
My husband and I were so dramatic about picking cat names, you'd think we were picking a name for a human baby with how long it took us to pick something.
I about DIED when I saw the matching sets at the end! Also, I've only ever crochet and knitting has always seemed so intimidating to me, but I heard you can make things quicker than crochet and seeing your time slots (even though it's a small project) has me thinking... maybe I should try lol
Absolutely adorable and now I want to make matching sweaters for my cats. Also, I got distracted while watching your video, so my black cat snuck into my knitting bag and tried to run off with my yarn. He might not be sweater-worthy.
I have made a summer sweater with Hobby Lobby's I Love This Cotton, and it draped nicely. It's a #4 weight and not too hot. I live in Texas and so far, have not used any wool yarn, but I might consider the wool/cotton blend.
🐈⬛🐈⬛🖤 🧶 That was adorable! May I just suggest making a chest portion so if the collar gets caught they don’t get hurt🤍🤍🤍 oh, the snaps would help! Your fish 🐠 one is inspired 🤍🤍
You have almost persuaded me. But I am afraid you haven’t persuaded my cats - even though your cat models are adorable and should be role models for mine. Sigh. Love your videos.
This was so cute, I loved the little twinsies fashion show at the end. I would love to make jumpers for my cat, but sadly a) it doesn’t get cold enough where I live and he already has a triple coat, and b) he would shred my face off if I tried to put clothes on him. I am doomed to live vicariously through other, more easygoing cats.
I love it!!! I'm thinking about making one for my Gandalf, because he has super short fur and it's pretty cold here, even inside the house except for the living room. His brother Merlin has thicker fur but it would be fun to make them semi-matching sweaters 😆 Our older cat Aggie would UNALIVE me if I tried to put a sweater on her, but she is suuuper fluffy so there is no point anyway. PS I'm contemplating getting the Halibut Sweater pattern just to make cat sweaters.
This video gave me the cat equivalent of baby fever. I want one, I need one. My biological clock is ticking and I need to have a kitty! Also I love the tip of letting them play with the measuring tape so they won't be afraid of it, genius.
Im in the middle too. Dont dress your critters but there are acceptations do to several reasons. My granddog is a sweater girl. Short hair girls need some extra warmth
My kitty Luna was not able to live with silky non matted fur.. So every 18 months she got a Lion Cut. Pobresita. Anyway when we moved back. to a cold in the winter environment, I started sweatering her. She would also get to sleep on them when not wearing them. At one point I took a sleeve off a favorite moth eaten cardigan and used that for one that she could wear in more of an ongoing way... I didn't want her to be sweatered up too long, due to her personal toilet meeds..
Well, now I just want to make a bunch of Mommy & Me sweaters for my cats... and I don't even know if they would be okay with wearing clothing. Only one way to find out I guess 🤷♀
That’s right lol, only one way to find out. I let my cats sniff and be around the sweaters for a few days before I try putting them on and that seems to help but also I know cats are soooo individual
I just recently found your channel and I’m loving it (and the cats!) I’m curious about your backwards loop cast on. I know I saw you mention it before and I saw how you did it. I see it again in this episode. It looks like a different technique (not the thumb) than I’ve ever seen. Any chance you could do a close-up in slow motion? I can’t figure it out at high speed, and is it looser to knit into than the typical one done with the thumb? 😊
Absolutely! If I can’t work it into my video this week, I’ll post a short showing how I do it. I just wrap the yarn with my left index and middle finger instead of my thumb.
These are some of the most affectionate and trusting cats I've seen 😭❤
I got lucky! Pippin was one of only two cats available for adoption in my town at the time so we didn't have much choice. They're so sweet
The clips with you and them in matching sweaters??? I could cry it’s so cute. It’s official I need a matching sweater with my cat
It’s wild how happy I get when I’m matching with them though they don’t get sweatered too often unless we’re going outside in the cold months 😞

Your videos make me so happy. The coziness is contagious.
That was amazing, and the show at the end was epic and sooo darn sweet. Your cats are wonderful. ❤
Just started learning how to knit and this is just what I needed!!! My two furry princesses are going to be thanking you 🧡🧡
That’s so exciting! 🥰 🐈

It’s my favorite one so far!! It’s hard to look at that many colors and be sad 🌈
the halibut cat sweater is SO CUTE!!!!
So when I clicked on this video I was DESPERATELY hoping to see a kitty halibut sweater and YESSSSSSSS
It’s my favorite of their sweaters!!!

My first self-drafted crochet AND knitting patterns are custom-fit sweaters for my lil black kitty. Just the best. I loved your montage at the end :)
That's amazing!! Everybody needs a lil black kitty :)
That halibut cat sweater is SO CUTE
It’s my fav
been busy with life but it really warms my heart to see your channel grow so much! You really deserve this exposure and so much more!💜
Hopefully life gives you a break soon. I know I struggle when it’s gets to be too much. Also thank you, I appreciate it!
Came back to see your stripey sweater you deconstructed and redid, and now I’m obsessed with your kitty Halibut sweater! 🐱 🐟 👚
Me too 😂 it was such a silly project but I also loved every second of making it!!!!
@@BreathingYarn useful way for a cat mom to practice!
Omg, the end of the video! Cutest thing ever!
It was so hard to figure out how to model on their terms 😂 but they were very chill on the couch so I figure we can have a couch fashion show lol
I love your videos! You had me at “zero ease” for the Pippin’s sweater! Had to sub to your channel! 🫶🏽🐈⬛🐈⬛
Omgosh so cuteeee!!! I want to show this to my cat because I know she would hate the sweater 😅 love the vibe of your videos!
This is the most wholesome video I’ve ever seen 😭♥️
Aweee thank you 😊

That’s awesome! Thank you 🥰
Merry and Pipin are great names for cats :D
My husband and I were so dramatic about picking cat names, you'd think we were picking a name for a human baby with how long it took us to pick something.
So I am highly allergic to cats, and still loved this video!
Part of my Monday pre-work routine to knit and watch your uploads :D
I love it! That’s awesome, I am honored to be part of your routine :)

I'm so glad I found your channel! You have such an amazing vibe and you inspire me so much! One day I hope to have a whole knitted wardrobe! :)
Thank you ☺️ That’s such an awesome goal. I’m also loving your profile pic (as a bee movie lover 💛🖤)
The matching sweater modeling at the end 😍😍😍
Dynamic modeling duo in the making lol.
Absolutely! @@BreathingYarn
i have a new kitten i'm training to go outside on a leash and this has definitely convinced me to make her a sweater
I haven't even seen the video yet, but just seeing the upload made my day much better. Thank you Isabelle :)
I'm so glad! Hope you have a good time :)
Absolutely adorable and now I want to make matching sweaters for my cats. Also, I got distracted while watching your video, so my black cat snuck into my knitting bag and tried to run off with my yarn. He might not be sweater-worthy.

Good recommendation!! I’ve been looking for good cottons
Love it!
the thumbnail is so precious i can’t 😿🫶
Oh thank you!
That was so lovely - thank you x My cats are just not knitworthy 😀
Haha! 😂 I love the honesty! I’m also laughing so hard at that.
This is so cute ❤

The fashion show at the end was SO adorable I love iiiiit! Also love the music in this one, vibes were STUNNING!
Thank you 😭 It was so fun figuring out how to model the sweaters on the cat’s terms. They were so patient with me 🥰
You have almost persuaded me. But I am afraid you haven’t persuaded my cats - even though your cat models are adorable and should be role models for mine. Sigh. Love your videos.
Drops Paris is a really good 100 percentage cotton,it is a worsted weight yarn
Good to know! I’ve been really curious about that yarn. 🧶 I’ve seen it online a few times and I might have to pick some up!

😂 seems like a smart choice
i cant tell if im still high from the edible last night or your videos are extremely aesthetic. kinda reminds me of bestdressed's earlier videos
Okay, that’s the best compliment ever!!!! Enjoy the ride 🍃💨

I want a third one!!! If only my apartment were bigger ☹️
If you were currently experimenting with yarn spinning, that title could have a whole different meaning 😆 🐈⬛
😂 it’s a bit unhinged but I do save some of my cat fur (after I brush them) in a jar just in case I decide to try spinning. 😂
@@BreathingYarn A whole different kind of "cat sweater" 😆
Im in the middle too. Dont dress your critters but there are acceptations do to several reasons. My granddog is a sweater girl. Short hair girls need some extra warmth
❤😊❤
I love, love black kitties. I’m on the Oregon Coast; whereabouts are you?
This is very out of season now, but I find CotLin by Knit Picks nicely drapey after blocking
Ouuuu, thanks for the tip!!

I just uploaded a short where I show my cast on a little more clearly :) Hope it helps!@@laurapawuk9713
Ughhh I want a cat n dog so bad lol this made it worse 😅 lol loved the video tho !!! Which I could come over for car cuddles
If it helps, Pippin will cut a stranger without batting an eye. She’s wildly protective 😂
