I'm a huge Mostert fan but I will maintain the view that the Gold Coast in 2019 was explosion point for Chaz and Tickford. That car was repairable, Tickford knew it was, but they punished Chaz by sitting him out for the weekend. Ultimately, I think it actually worked because ever since then we've seen a far more mature driver in Chaz. He rarely makes these stupid mistakes now.

As someone who has seen them race live a few times. They definitely don’t sound as good. The new engines just aren’t as grunty . But I agree they do look good.

V8 supercars needs to hold some joint nascar rounds both here and the U.S. lmagine seeing the best nascar drivers mixing it with our best at Bathurst . Ratings bonanza.

Chaz was a big contender for the championship in 2015 before he broke his leg and has won Bathurst twice. I wouldn't say he is a hack.
