A brief video tour of Pittsburgh International Airport in 1997. Scenes in this video include multiple USAir aircraft, Delta, Northwest, American, and TWA
It's these exact images from my childhood that got me into flying. USAir at PIT... Now 20 years later I am a Pittsburgh-based first officer, and unfortunately these days are all gone...

Wow.. Great Video..Been searching the Internet for a long time for something like this.. Great to reminisce what it was like back in the day!
AAFlyer757 thanks! Found it going through old VHS tapes. You should also watch my other Pittsburgh video from 1998 with snow!
In a way I miss USAIR. Thanks for posting.
Amazing to see. I'd be born only two years later and even in that amount of time so much would change at KPIT. Wish it was still like that today.
I still like the USAir chrome livery!
These are great historical records. I was working there at the time and I have trouble recognizing some of those places now. Thanks for posting
been looking for videos like this for a while
check out my other PIT video as well!
Fantastic video! I always wanted to see PIT in its hub days. Flying was much more fun in those days, as was spotting.
Back when Pittsburgh airport felt like Atlanta’s.
Let’s give them something to talk about.......
