@@roghaj 👍 Based on my trail riding I'll probably stick with the stock unit on mine but maybe I'll change my mind after a side-by-side comparison. Looking forward to it.
Great info, thanks. Did you install the volume spacer in the Fox shock because it was still bottoming out at max psi? If so, do you think the 210mm would be a better fit?
I just got a 200mm for my other Master (I have 2) The main reason I installed the volume reducer was so that I could run lower pressure and get a bit of suspension sag.
This was a very informative video. I will definently use your tips for when i hit the trails and will be updating my shock ASAP. These videos are way better then Zens videos ... IMO .... anyway .... hope to ride with you one day ...
@@roghaj Ok thanks! I still like extra lights so cars are wondering what the heck they see on the road. Gets their attention. Wish there was a USB port to just plug extra lights in, but curious to hear/see what you did. Just got my Master yesterday!
@@rayraytub1000 You can pull the 5 V off of the tail light power. I did that and I also used the signal wire to drive the blinker and brake lights on my addressable LEDs.
Is this still your preferred suspension set up but with a 200mm shock now? Are you using new geometry linkage yet? Trying to figure out the best solution for master suspension before I start throwing parts at it en masse
Yes, I am using the new suspension geometry. I am running custom linkage is that I made myself. They allow for the fox shock and have some added material to protect the adjustments on the shock in case of a crash. The most noticeable changes with the new linkages are the reduced pressure necessary for the same ride and the shock adjustments. Make a bigger difference now.
Hey Roger I bought a plate from Murland but every shock I try is loose the shock rod linkages from Begode are 12mm and all the Fox and Rockshox I try are 12.5mm with bushing or 15mm without? Any info would be greatly appreciated Thanks Roger
I used the white bushings from Fox.... worked perfect www.amazon.com/Shock-Mount-Hardware-Washer-M8x44-86mm/dp/B08HR4CQ5R/ref=sr_1_48?keywords=fox+shock+mounting+hardware&qid=1666640609&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIzLjgxIiwicXNhIjoiMy4yMiIsInFzcCI6IjIuNDUifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=fox+shock+mounting%2Caps%2C265&sr=8-48 I think its the whites ones in this kit.... don't know... they came with my shock.
Did you figure this out? Installing a Fox shock right now and the 12mm rods rattle around inside the 12.7mm eyelet even with some of the white bushings installed that came with the shock.
@@roghaj hopefully Friday they will arrive. I am afraid you will kill air shock - even high-quality one on trail since they made for half load. 200 bucks for FOX is good deal:D.
Fantastic!! Thanx for doing that Roger, much appreciated! 👍😁
No problem 👍
Gotway need to redesign the linkages to reduce the leverage ratio, talk of 400psi and 1500lb springs is insane
Yeah. I’m using half the stroke on my shock.
1 year later: extreme linkage is exactly the same xd
Great info for the hardcore trail rider Roger 👍
Now that I can add air on the fly, I will set it up for you to try out on some trails. I always have way too much air for it to be comfortable.

Awesome information! Thanks for sharing. I’ve ordered a Master and those were some issues I want to address when it arrives. 👍
Glad it was helpful!

Thx for info 😉I really like the lights mod too. Can you make tutorial of them too 🤩
Wow, Hello my friend.. All the best to your channel and hope you have a wonderful day !!!
thanks for the rundown Roger. regarding the lights, what types of light strips should I use, what search terms?
5v addressable. After that the only thing that matters is how far apart they are spaced. 100 is kind of wide and 144 is pretty close.
Awesome 😎 nice talents!!
Thank you! Cheers!
😎😎
Hi, any links where to buy this exact same suspension? Mine was leaking and now its lowrider :)
Love the lights. Do you have a video with more detail on how you did the lights?
I’m going to start making more videos soon. Just made myself a studio. Anyway, find me on telegram and I will tell you whatever you need to know.

awesome. How can I get that file for the side plate?
Do you have a way to cut the steel or Aluminum?

seems like we doing similar things - I am waiting for two coils. One 190 mm, one 200 mm. Dunno why i thought that master is 190 mm....
I wanna see someone actually test with a coil-over. Let me know how it goes.

Coil shock is bad idea ....
Does all this solve your suspension needs or are you still bottoming out / avoiding big sends.
I avoid nothing. It will still bottom out, but does it gently. Stock shock felt like it would break the wheel.
