I have never once considered getting a Unicycle, but that is pretty damn impressive. With that range I could ride from work, to San Francisco, and then back again. I might have to switch from scooters to unicycles.

The Master is not even a long range wheel. The EXN does 50+ and has range of 100+ Vet Sherman has range of 120

you really should - Unicycle is really game changing and very safe to ride (if you ride normally of course)
And it's almost free to reload (2.5kWh - which is about 50 cts in france)
@@chrisogrady28 I bought the cheapest electric scooter I could ($200) and it works great for getting around my campus at work.
I duno why so many people hates Begode quality. I have 1st batch of Begode Tesla T3. after 9 months and 2500 km I opened it and I was shocked. Inside it was abslolutelly clean, I haven't found anything wrong. THe power and range of my small T3 is outstanding. Master looks like an amazing wheel!

I still ride my T1 daily. Charges to 100% fine.

No mystery here. If the Master has similar or more torque the RSt, then 0-30 is already known. Its a matter of topend & AR did 45+mph before beeps. EXN should do a bit more but then it dont have the kinda torque we're talking about. I'd be more interested in how the Master handles vis a vis EXN

Considering you were cruising so fast, that range really isn't bad. About on par with the S20, but with more torque I'm guessing. Did you try riding seated at all? How is that?
Definitely more torque, I don't do a lot of seated riding. I do find the seat quite comfortable though and should do more of that in videos. 👽🖖

Picking up the Begode Master (V3) with the street tire from your awesome Las Vegas store when I get back from work on November 28th. I’ll be doing some different speeds range testing and riding it all over Southern Nevada and the desert Southwest. Can’t wait!

exactly like my nikola 2700wh
i use to do 40miles with the 1800wh then get the same range on 2700wh but ride more agressively meaning this master could easyly get 60miles from alot of peoples.
What if you didn’t ride aggressively on the 2700wh nik? What do you think your range would be? I have the same wheel

Jordan Sherard in my case having more battery did not give me more range because i do not have to keep looking at my speed on a 3hrs+ ride
i am 230lbs in Canada its cold too. so riding avove 25mph is where is the ride get all it's quality imo

'Go George Go' found that the stock chargers often are not properly calibrated to fully charge up to 134.4 volts. Carefully adjusting the charger via volt meter yielded another 8-9 miles more of range 👍
That ride outline at the end blew my mind. The little yellow bar just kept going! It's always so cool seeing you guys cruise by SFSU.
There's like a handful of people with eucs on campus in comparison to the hundreds if not thousands of electric scooters. I bet they'd change their mind about scooters after seeing this kind of range.

This wheel is looking better every days. Not amazing range, but given the conditions (speed, hills, weight, knobby tire) pretty respectable.

That's what I expected. Awesome. Great job Alien Rides. This wasn't a slow range test. It was very realistic where a bit of hard riding is expected and hills as well?. Way better range if one was to ride this at a very modest speed for sure. Great stuff

@@AlienRides Let him review the Master HS ones. We are looking forward to a 60 mph wheels and since this is only do 50 mph, its nothing that a sherman max couldn't do.

A good test would be to see if the torque is there. You are pretty tall and nearly at 200 pounds, try to overpower the wheel. Many wheel fail at that.
You could also climb the same places done with other wheels in the past, and compare the performance. A 3500 Watt wheel should deliver normally.

You're going to love it. I definitely want to do more torque tests. I can tell that this wheel has a ton more torque than other begode wheels. I usually always hear the motor grinding when accelerating, but that doesn't happen here. Will see how we can do torque comparisons on this wheel. 👽🖖

I'd like to see a side-by-side comparison of 2 riders riding similarly on the exact same ride perform range test of Master with 50E and Master with 40T cells. Even better if we could get a screenshot of avg and max battery and phase current metrics afterwards with an app like EUC World.
I was going to add top-speed test too, but I'd save that for a different ride since the 50E wouldn't be able to keep up given the difference in voltage sag and would muddy the range results. I'm really interested in the real-world differences between the 2 cell choices.

Yeah, but it is a torque wheel so way more torque than any wheel out there to date. That means awesome acceleration and confidence in the wheel at speed. I'm a big fan of it. 👽🖖

That's actually impressive considering how you were riding it. Did you happen to make note of what the no battery tilt-back voltage was?
I did not check that, but I guess it was 1 bar whatever that means. Guess I'll have to do it again, or you can... 👽🖖
@@AlienRides Hopefully I will. The tilt-back voltage is useful to know because it's a more accurate indication of battery level than 1-5 bars or a percentage. Since this is the first 134-volt wheel we don't know what voltage range is being used. Good video though 👍

Darn, I'd expect it to go a bit faster. I know Begode said they could get a C30 version working, but I hope they don't give up on that idea. I guess it is nice to have torque at that speed though.

Yeah, shoulda said that before, but you have a solid 35 miles of fast riding until those hit. 👽🖖

Nice range test and also love the relive map. I think that riding at realistic speeds and uphill sections is important for a clear picture of the wheel's performance. 35 miles at 35mph avg. speed seems good enough, but I had hoped for a 3.000 Wh battery.
If the upcoming tests for the Master are positive, I might even buy a begode as my first and only wheel, otherwise I tend to the SherMax.
Depending on where you want to ride, you might be better off getting an RSS or RST for a first wheel. I'm not sure starting with this one is the best call; but if it calls to ya go for it.
I think begode makes great wheels, but not sure about the master or shermax as a first wheel. I recommend something like a Nikola AR+, more grounded to get started with and plenty to grow into. 👽🖖
I'm not too fond of pre-master/EX20s Begode wheels - because of quality (control) issues and safety hazards.
While I know that EUC riding takes quite a bit getting used to and this might not be a good beginner wheel, it ticks all my boxes (quality, rigidity, battery system, weight.. only range might become an issue)
Since the price difference for an inferior model is neglectable (as prices quite linearly relate to battery size) I don't feel it is justified going for those toys-quality wheels at 50-70% the price tag.
@@AlienRides I have lots of experience in the esk8 community do you think the master is still too much for a first EUC? I'm used to the high torque and 40mph top speed already. I think anything less would feel too slow and boring.
@@jimmysyar889 trust me, any speed on an Euc is definitely not boring, and 40mph is great. Up to you though!

I started EUC riding last summer with a V8F. I can't wait to switch to a faster wheel ! I really am considering the master.

I guess the stock knobby tire drains the battery faster than other street tires for example Kenda 340A?

How does this range compare to the RS19 ht? How far would you have gotten if you did the same route?
I have RS19 ht with sporty style only got 50km range but with group rides I take slow and max is 90km. My weight is 92kg +gear. It is not fun to hold back speed because of small battery. Unfortunately it seems same story for Master.
I got my deposit on one of these. I hope the world doesn't end, this tech is too cool. Can't wait. It'll be my first wheel, but I maxed out my electric skateboard 20 minutes into riding it, and I've never used a skateboard before. I hope I don't die going 45 😂

Since the Molicel 2000 WH battery will have less sag than the 50E battery pack, do you think the Molicel version will have more usable voltage? And possibly more range?

i dont know how youre getting that range! i have begode master v4 and i ride between 30-45mph and im getting just little over 20miles range with little hills. i also weigh about the same. i think that there may be something wrong with the wheel. im getting better range on my KS22
What's Max amount of pressure you can put into the shock before the pump (yes the pump) won't let you squeeze anymore into the shock?
I'm 250lb and curious if the shock can be pressurized to needed psi...
That's a good question, we'll have to test it. I do think that it can handle 250 lbs no problem, but we should test it a bit more for those heavier riders. 👽🖖
All we need now is a speed test wheel supposed to do 60mph that's what people are claiming I think you'd be lucky to get 55+ even with molicell p42 always a beautiful vid 💪👽
I think people don't realize what it means to have a torque motor. While you will be able to cruise in the low 50s, it probably can't do 60. A 60 mph wheel is not far off though. 👽🖖

Recently ordered the Hero from you and love it. How much more range do you think the Master would have versus the Hero, all factors being equal, flat terrain, 190lb rider, 20mph average?
Hero is great, glad you like it! At the same speed the master will have a bit more range than the hero most likely. I need to do a range test on the hero to find out. 👽🖖
The hero seemingly has consistent battery issues (power sag) and even for a 1800Wh? system comparable low range.

How did you find the brake response?
Especially at high speed(emergency situations).
I've seen Chance Hinz stop on a dime(hard mode- added own pads) then Zen said emergency braking power isn't very good( stock pads only, mode not known)
I think they're both right, definitely want some better pads if you need strong braking. 👽🖖

I believer there's a bit of oscillation at really high speed, like 55mph+. I don't remember tire and shock pressure, but we usually use about 35 psi in the tire. 👽🖖
I noticed your feet are hanging off of the front of the pedals and that there is a lot of forward pedal dipping while riding. Do you normally ride with your feet like that or did you need extra push to get up the speed for this wheel? Also was the wheel setup tilted forward or is the pedal dip just that drastic?
I just got really big feet lol. It was slightly forward tilted, which is a bit more comfortable for riding long distances. 👽🖖
Now the next wheel needs to be one where there is no need to look behind yourself for cars.
