Thanks for the really useful video and I've just subscribed to your channel :) I have similar issue with my mixer but thinking of replacing it with a spare mixer (same model) instead. Question is the spare mixer is kept in my store room for 7-8 years and I'm not sure if I can still use it, the internal seems not rusted, a little bit of water inside and sort of metal peeling on the outside. Any advice? Other reasons to replace with spare mixer, is the current one has other issues like the internal has dirt/rust/limescale build up
I followed your steps but at 2:31, my mixer head (?) doesn't come off at all unlike yours. not even loose. worse of all, the little Allen screw that was holding everything together got stuck in the tiny hole and I was left with a worse situation than I had started. this is the problem with DIY and what generally puts me off 😞 I managed to pry the screw out with much difficulty, only for it to fall back into the hole while I was trying to screw it back in. luckily I managed to do it a second time round and fixed it again. my water pressure issue wasn't solved but at least it is still working now.
I wish I watched this video before trying to adjust my thermostatic mixer valve. 😂 I stupidly unscrewed the handle and water was gushing out and soaking me from head to toe. I was lucky that there was no hot water in my storage heater. Because I had zero idea how to turn off the main water supply, I had to use a lot of strength to push the valve back in against the water pressure and screw it back. 😅 Btw, do you know if thermostatic shower valves are easily replaceable? Are they somewhat like “standard” size?
😆 thats a funny story! I'm glad you're not hurt! I'm not sure about thermostatic valves, however, as with all valves, I do suggest you bring the old one to the shop to get an exact match!
Question, say now you've already checked the mixer an all is good, but your hot water on just the tub is still low, no other hot water taps are low, just the tub bearing in mind its a mixer, what then?
Hi sir, thank you for sharing this video regarding this cartridge. May I know how to check what is the size of the cartridge or how to measure it in order to get replacement. Thank you.
Thanks for this! My common toilet bidet spray has good pressure. But my master toilet bidet spray is abit weak. I have turn up the inlet knob to the max already but still week. What could be the issue? Thank you!
From the day i got my installed lf shower mixerthe pressure very low. Is it becauseof the WEL rating? If yes, is there a way to remove any restrictor? Or i need change mixer? Thanks.
Can you show how to increase water supply in piano thermostatic wall mixer. Inlet pipe has pretty good water pressure but flow from the mixer is very low. Head shower hardly working.
Actually if there are works further up the pipe line, it may be contaminated by some small stones and it will make its way into water outlets. Unfortunately in this case it is the shower mixer.

Thanks for the video. Gonna give it a go with the cartridge out to clear the lines 👍

Same thing! Might be clogged
@@ThePunggolHandyMan thanks for the reply! And where do I find the cartridge for bidet?

Of course save water means less pressure! Can't have it both ways

Wow I haven't had the opportunity to take one apart and they're pretty hard to come by
The set screw of my tap is very tight, it doesn't move at all. I am afraid that i will break it if i put too much force on it. How arh?
Squirt a bit of WD40 on it and wait awhile.. should come off
wa, how come water pipe will have stone sia.

What are the better brands for taps
Hi! I'm not sponsored by any company so I'm not at liberty to recommend! But I'm sure the quality and price are related!
Can you show a video for bathroom tap?
