Do you have to repete this process ever? And if so, how often? Weekly, monthly, yearly? I will try this... it was whisling and low pressure. I changed the spray hose and now it is hammering. There seems to be a small leak from the handle of the new hose/handle combo. I will address the leak first, then the hammering if it persists! Thanks!

😂 the way you're supposed to do it is baking soda vinegar and then you have to cover the drain the idea is that the buildup of gas then forces the clogged out through the other side... That's the only reason it works.

I used WD40 on a drain with standing water that would not budge. After letting it sit to do it's job, the drain was back in business.

I've got a double oven. We stopped using the bottom one for a year and started using the top one only. However, after one year when we wanted to use the bottom one but it tripped the RCD. I've followed you instruction and it worked for one day. Next day it tripped again. What could be the reason?

It worked for me, you just have to follow the steps in order. You missed a few steps. I just cleared my bathroom sink today doing baking soda and vinegar. Have to use boiling water at beginning and end and allow 5 minutes between steps. helps to add a very small amount of water to your baking soda to make a slurry paste. Pour this down the drain after boiling water. Allow to sit 5 minutes them put 1 cup of white distilled vinegar down and allow another 5 minutes. Then pour another whole pot of boiling water down the drain and allow for another 5 minutes. Run hot water continuously for another 5 minutes.
