Hey if I click on big picture mode steam closes but I have it up to date whats going on
After i connect it to steam i can only play with wire on my games, how do i use it wirelessly? (When i connect the controller with bluetooth the light is blue but when i launch the game it doesn’t respond to the controller)
Once I click add Bluetooth device or other device then Bluetooth it says couldn’t connect PLEASE HELP

@@jorritbulthuis7314 if u download ds4windows thingy u can connect to every game even valorant and other games u can even use as mouse but xbox controller idk bro but i like to keep it clean so ill conect it via bluthooth if u wanna know more about what all settings to put in ds4 windows just use the default setting ok but my doubt is can i use any bluthooth dongle or sony dongle i think we only need normal bluthoot dongle if i cleared ur doubts plz reply
Please make sure you're using the correct cable that is supplied with your ps4 controller, or a compatible data cable. If you're having issues connecting the ps4 controller with a wire, try another wire. not all cables are created equal!

If it doesn't work for you at first, try switching out the USB cable. For some reason my controller won't connect with one USB cable but connected with another one I used. So if it doesn't connect and you've done everything right, it's probably the cable.
Thanks for the video. But I guess it just doesn't work for me. I followed step by step and I'm doing the micro USB. Idk I just have bad luck. It's stuck on the "Opening Installer" message

The reason this might not work for some of you is because your cable does not support data transfer. A cable has different types of wires for data transfer and for power. While all cables have power wires not all have both power and data transfer therefore you will not receive any input on your pc. Idk about Bluetooth

THIS IS THE CONTROLLER FIX FOR NBA 2K21 ON EPIC GAMES RUNNING THROUGH STEAM THAT WORKED FOR ME AFTER TRYING ALL THE STEPS AND COULD WORK FOR OTHER GAMES ON EPIC GAMES:
-Make sure you to try all the steps on the video
-Configure the controller settings first on Steam here are the steps:
1. Open Steam>Click on Steam on the Upper left hand corner>Choose Settings>Controller>GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS
2. Make sure to check the correct controller type you are using
1. Go to Big Picture Mode>Go to Epic Games Launcher>Select Manage Shortcut>Go to Controller Application Options
2. Make sure ENABLE OVERLAY ON NON-STEAM GAME is CHECKED
3. On the drop down "Steam Input Per-Game Setting" choose FORCED ON

So I use my ps4 controller via Bluetooth to play apex mobile on my phone, now when I tried to hook it back up to steam via a wired or Bluetooth connection it won't detect.

LE: DS4 is recognized by windows as a game controller, no need for DS4windows. For RPCS3 is actually not advised at all.
Seems like my last comment didn't go through, such a shame. The DS4 download link must be updated (as I previously stated). A dualshock 4 works perfectly on a PC with DS4, I've tested it in steam games (Grid 2, recognizes it as xbox controller, everything works, vibration also - and I did not used Steam big picture mode) and also with RPCS3 (already finished God of War 1, playing 2 at the moment).
For the wireless connection, I used a 15 year old bluetooth dongle which was instantly recognized by Windows, put the DS4 in pairing, added it in windows and DS4Windows instantly recognized it. It works the same as wired (0.5ms input lag max).

Ok so you dont need to download ds4 to do some of this you can just connect it to save some memory or space.

Do you need the original cable or can it just be a cable that is compatible with your ps4 controller?
Probably any cable will work but it must be the same that the controller port is of. Example Type C cable

Hiya i seem to be having some issues with this as when i tell the program to install the driver it says opening installer and then after around 5 minutes it says failed to install diver. Got any ideas how to fix this? Thanks

Each time I click "Step 1: Install the DS4 Driver" it says, "Opening Installer" for about 5 minutes and then it says "Installation failed. Please Retry"
Has this DS4 Download link that you have posted expired? Other sources are saying this the DS4 Windows Icon should be rainbow-coloured and not Black.

The only problem that you’ll IMMEDIATELY notice is the key travel time or input lag. When you play on the console, it is sharp and responsive. When you connect to PC wired pr wireless. you’ll notice a delay. Which i personally hate
This is massively reduced when using a wire instead of bluetooh

I’ve been struggling with this, searching and finding no help…thought I was gonna have to buy an Xbox controller… but I removed the device and started over with DS4Windows again but in the order you stated. That made the difference and I’m so relieved. One less wire tangled up! Thank you.

"Use the cable that came with your console" and that's all the info I get. I don't have a PS console, that's why I'm trying to hook it up to my PC. An explanation of the type of cable would definitely be beneficial.

I just recently discovered your channel with your PG32UQX review. Good stuff man. Wish I could say the same for Asus’ quality control. Been through two PG32UQX panels. Both riddled in dead pixels and the blooming was happening on light backgrounds more than dark.

Awesome it works with steam big picture. I just got Shadow of War on sale for $10 and it’s much more fluid with a controller. Question when pairing the PS4 controller as a Bluetooth on your pc, is it good to go once you pair it or do you need to have DS4 as well?
Incorrect button prompts for PS4 controller ?
Steam >> Right click the game (left hand list) >> Properties >> Controller >> OVERRIDE FOR [game name] >> Select 'disable steam input' >> Restart the game

i need some more help, ive done all the steps to co0nnect with bluetooth and ive tried to connect the controller with ds4 with a wire, but its still not connecting to my game
Sometimes you have to manually select an input source in your game, or your game may not have full in built controller support.
have you used a data cable instead of a charging cable theres quite a difference between the two since a charging cable will only charge the controller and the data cable will transmit data between the controller and pc

@@WePC i have used 3 different cables and many ports and still nothing.. my ps4 controller and my xbox controller wont connect. i used to be able to play with my xbox controller no problem but in a middle on a game disconnected and every time i plug it in it shakes like it connected once i plug it in but the button doesnt light up nor connect to my pc. any ideas on how to fix it?
Charge a lil bit before doing it. I speak from experience.

It just depends on personal preference to be honest. I personally prefer an xbox controller but it's whatever you're used to. There's also some pretty decent 3rd party controllers out there like the Nacon controller:geni.us/UixcViB

Hi, I can use the controller just fine, my only concern is that everywhere it says that for you to know if the controller is charging when connected via cable to your pc, the lightbar on top should be blinking, and then stop blinking when it is fully charged. It doesn't blink for me though, it just continues to be the same continuous color that I chose in the steam config. Is it charging, is it not? I don't know. I just bought it so I'm clueless.

@@nathanabrogena6147 There is no such thing as a "cellphone charger" or a "PS4 charger". They are micro usb chargers. If it plugs into your controller then it is compatible with the controller. You can charge a PS4 controller using an iPhone brick plugged into the wall as long as it's a micro-usb cable connecting it.
@@TruthTellerTV the adapter you are going to use to charge the controller is gonna crucial because if you use a wrong one, your controller will be fried

I had this problem where my bluetooth would pick up the DS4, but when i tried to play a game it would be laggy, not register inputs, etc. The solution for me was finding the bluetooth antenna that came with my PC/Motherboard. It has two coaxial connections, plugged them into the back of my PC, and now I can play from my mailbox. Hope this helps.

Every time I use the USB cord method, the audio completely cuts off. Either the method is flawed or I'm doing something wrong.
Just go to your audio and change it back to your headphones
When I connect my ps4 controller when I move joysticks up and down it controls my volume how do I fix it so it doesn’t do that
