the training after Australia was in ladakh which is around 11-12k feet above sea level, or 3500-4000m approx, it is difficult to breath there for someone coming from plains directly, a normal person would huff and puff to breath properly if he just goes 100meter
Fun Fact: They changed a few things in the movie from real life...
The Indian athlete who helped Milkha in the airplane and kissed in the swimming pool was actually a former captain of the Indian women's volleyball team in "real life"... They both got married later....
The place where Milkha was training was most probably Ladakh where the last scenes of 3 Idiots were shot.
Partition resulted in massive deaths, injuries on both sides of the border with 14.5 million people migrating. It is one of the biggest historic moments for people of north India

The last scene where he smiles at his younger self is him finally being able to overcome his fear/ come to terms with his past. Milkha singhs family was murdered brutally in front of his eyes in pakistan during partition. And he was conferred with the title "the flying sikh" in the same country. I dont see whats there to laugh about while watching emotional scenes.

When we laugh and engage like this with the film that means we are really enjoying the movie! I know we have a different style of reactions compared to other reaction channels out there but we’d rather be genuine and express ourselves rather than copy other react channels.
