I just want to say this, that as a westerner you guys will never understand the plight of partition…
Punjabis and Bengali are the two communities that suffered the most….
Trains filled with dead people were coming to platforms…
And Milkha Singh(the flying Sikh) is a prove that despite of all these hardships people like them will always shine…. There are many real stories of partition like him that will inspire you in life
And He is a Sikh, he’s a practicing Sikh that’s why his head is covered(that’s called turban) and it’s one of the most important aspects of Sikhism, even his “underpants” actually it’s called “kaccha” which is also equally important….
Lots of thing to you guys will be shocking and confusing… but this is Indian culture and you should keep in your mind that India has many culture and all Indians are very much connected toward their culture….
