I bought mine 10 years ago, and never regretted the buy. Many other cars have come and left my collection - this is a keeper. It’s quick, nimble, corners nicely, it’s fast, but quite comfortable. Maintenance is simple, because it’s based on the AR 75. They are still great value for money, many are for sale in the region of 60k Euros. You pay much more for a 911 of the same area, or a F 348/355.
@TGE TV actually got a 987 Cayman S as a result of watching your classic car endeavours and I must say I absolutely love it!! Yeah sure, it is not a a 911 of any sort, however value wise I think these are absolutely top notch if you happen to find a very well looked after nicely speced piece, which I have so thank you so much ror so much coverage of the classic Porsche models, never thought I would find any "older" car as cool as I find them now. Your Testarossa and older 911 content is absolutely gold by the way! Totally unique 🙏 always had a huge appreciation for Testarossa's and now I finally get an idea of what it is like to own/drive one 🙏 good stuff as always, keep it up!
That V6 engine is very reliable and it just needs care, check the oil regularly and it should cross Europe without missing a beat. Check Davide Cironi's channel on that car, he drives it really hard.

I saw one once in a bay at a local car stereo installation firm, I nearly wet myself and drove around the block parked up, and went and had a look, this was decades ago when it was first released, never seen another on the road since.👍👍👍

One of my customers swapped his Mercedes 190 Evolution 2 for one of these, think it was £28,000 back in late 90s which one would be worth more now? The Evo 2 was what you would describe as chaos! But totally impracticable for picking his kids up from their prestigious private school.
These are a beautiful car. I've only seen one in person and had me drooling. Definitely a great car to add to the collection. Also agree with your comment regarding current day supercars. There's no soul. Good luck bidding
F@@k the views, I’m liking it 😆 that would be a great buy, owned a few Older Alfas, my GT Junior was great, never had too many issues, they are easy to fix and plenty of knowledgable people and specialists, the SZ is on the bucket list but I can’t see these going anywhere but up and up 👍
I have a 75 Veloce in my own collection of cars, unfortunately not currently on the road (so often the way on old Alfas) these cars have incredible handling like nothing else!

Cool car, lots of character, as you say very Italian styling akin the F40 but also a bit of Subaru svx in it which appeared just one year later ……. I would put more trust in a Italian mass manufacturer over a 80s/90s Italian supercar producer having seen what even the modern cars are made of. The Alfa 155 and 156 in touring car was my background, just such cool looking cars

Me and my mate used to take out his brothers Alfa 155 Q4 turbo and then eventually swapped for a 106 gti if only we knew what we had back then!
