Far more relaxing doing 60-65mph and makes no noticeable difference to journey times at that speed. Surprising how many drivers out there that don’t get it.
I used to fill up at half a tank, and then recently I did longer trips and filled up at 1/8 of a tank, and found that was helping the MPG. So I will keep doing that.
I am surprised how high the RPM is at 60 MPH. In my 2024 Mirage with the CVT, it's at 2,000 RPM going that speed. And going 55-60 MPH, I average about 55 MPG.
A lot of people say it's loud, but I feel like most car reviewers compare this car to higher class vehicles. It's not loud, it's definitely quieter than what would be expected for $14k starting
@@mitsubishimadman7321 I am supposed to pick up my brand new 2023 Mirage today to replace my 2015 that was rear ended and wrote off. I am so excite. Only 2 hours to wait!! If i get my bonus in march the first thing I am doing is upgrading the sound system.
The relaxed pace definitely helps. So many drivers are getting poor fuel economy because they are doing 75-80 mph.
Yeah, I always get passed at stupid speeds, it's nice cruising at 60-65mph and watching those numbers stay high!

Thank you!
Amazing how the mileage changes with weight - empty vs full tank of gas
I know! It really surprised me as well almost a whole 2 mpg!

Yeah I wish the manual had a 6 speed it needs that extra gear
@@mitsubishimadman7321 I agree. Or 7th gear. I heard the Nissan Versa is the same. Where at 60 Mi an hour it is still at 3000 rpm.
@mitsubishimadman7321 Over the last 9,400 miles and 41 fill ups have averaged 49.9 miles per gallon. That seems quite good for an average.
I own a mirage.very happy like it so much why does this car get so bad notes from some cars reviewers ?
I really don't know, this car is amazing
Hey My headphones are plugged in to the PC but it has to be a certain angle to work do you know how to fix it I’ve also tried many different headsets
Is it only on my video?
No it’s everything
Seems like you might need a new set of headphones or maybe check the aux port
This is Tysons son right?

@@mitsubishimadman7321 Thank you thank you thank you!! You rock man!
Anytime! Enjoy!
Well our 2015 5 speed manual transmission gets @ 80 speed getting 62mpg
Nice!!!! This car has wider tires and other mods, I am glad to see your fuel savings!
Seems quite quiet for a budget car at 60mph.

Awfully short video for the last one being 12 days ago.
I'm working on a bigger project, but this is just something in the meantime 😃

The Rockford fosgate system surprised me, but update me on what you do
