Another great video Risa! You also look just stunning! At 67, I need to cut to the chase with all the “best of the bests”, and pass on the “just ok” products. I love the Natasha Denona concealer, or Maxine’s Devenge’s “French Face” (mostly skin care… AMAZING). I’m hooked on Seint cream make-up, and their “Demi” correctors… talk about a glow! I’m wondering if you’ve tried Seint? I like the HUDA Beauty full coverage foundation very much as an alternative if I use the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter first. Also, I’ve truly enjoyed the French Face line (very hydrating) in three colors for concealer, foundation and bronzer. One can easily custom mix all Maxine’s shades for the perfect shade, which I love doing. I’m chuckling at my own “still just a girl” need for two or three choices for complexion products, but I think many women change it up to keep make-up FUN at my stage of life. If there’s anyone out there whose lost most of their eyebrow hairs, I can not recommend the Kosas brow products (both the fatter one and the finer nano choice)! It Cosmetics “Universal Taupe” is another great wearing alternative. How I wish I could go for a permanent brow procedure, but I scar easily, so I just paint on natural looking brows rather than taking any chances. I love many Seint shadows, but the Natasha Denona “I need A Nude” palette is also SO lovely. I’ve heard you rave about that one too if one prefers cooler tones, as I do. I might have to try the cooler toned Make-Up By Mario palette one day soon! I have yet to like ANY eyeshadow primer for my oily lids aside from the Mac Paint Pot in “Painterly”. I agree with you on the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray as my favorite way to lock it all in. When my 5 year old grandson Remy says,”Nana, I just love your face”, I am inspired to just keep going with my daily make-up application. Thank you for what you do so well… motivate us to have fun with make-up, to play with new ways to perfect our outcome each day. I appreciate your channel so much!

Have you made a video about what you would put in a makeup bag for your handbag? I usually don't have everything I might need on the go, or things I don't need and I have trouble finding my lipstick, there's so much in it. xo~linda
Thank you for this helpful video! For anyone who loves the Stans Out sponge but thinks it is too spendy, I cut mine in half. It takes it from $20 per sponge to $10 and I prefer the smaller size! I not only love it for blending out foundation that has been applied with a brush, but the Stans Out sponge is fantastic at blending out concealer. Thank you Risa for all of your recommendations, and especially this sponge that does not have to be moistened before using!❤️
If you haven't tried the Paula's Choice tinted sunscreen/primer, I highly recommend it, especially since you have more oily skin like I do. I've tried it under about a dozen different foundations/skin tints and it works perfectly without pilling under every single one of them, and when worn alone just beautifully smooths out my complexion. It dries down to a soft, natural matte finish and has become my favorite discovery of the year.
Interesting video, but I'm not sure how many older women have unlimited budgets (I certainly don't). I'd love to see a budget version of the cosmetic bag. Thanks Risa!

The one thing that I would add to this bag is an under eye primer as I feel they are very important for mature skin. I have been using the Smashbox one for years and it was discontinued. Since that time I have tried two more without success lately I have been using an extra layer of eye cream, that is very well absorbed into the skin. If you or anyone else knows of another eye under eye primer, I would appreciate being told.
I thoroughly enjoy your videos, but this one I absolutely love! Thank you so so much for this video because I have extremely dark circles and am 52 years old and so a video like this has me hitting the local Ulta, Sephora and Amazon lol
Hi, Risa. As always, a terrific video with your expert guidance on low end and high end products. Risa, I give all your videos a thumbs-up before I've even watched them because I KNOW that they're all fantastic. 🤗 But this video is just off the charts AWESOME!! So helpful and I love the fact that you did suggest some more affordable alternatives to most of the products. In addition, the oily/dry skin suggestions for each product are just so helpful and inclusive!! Just... wow! Thank you SO much! 🙏🏼😍 I am so thankful that I discovered you here on TH-cam. Are there any eyeshadow palettes under $25 that you'd recommend for a cruise? I don't want to pack 6 eyeshadow palettes 😂 but the Makeup by Mario is on my wishlist, but only if I can get it on sale or VIB sale. I guess I can go back through the videos you've done. I'll definitely do that this afternoon.
Have you ever used the shadow sticks like Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown? A nice navy and a brown or taupe give you options for lashline or blending out. They have them at tjmaxx alot and travel well. Then if you have a bronzer and highlighter duo for face those can work on eyes as well. Liner, mascara and those are travel friendly!
@@cmac6992I haven't used those brands, but I do have 4 MAC paint pots and 6 Julep eyeshadow pencils (mostly for the waterproof effect when we're out on the lake.) @robinlawson ViseartParis is having a 30% off spring sale on their website where their quads are 17.50 in any color story that suits you. They also have mini "Fleurette" palettes that include blush for 28 or 12 pan palettes for 28. They are so small they're great for travel but don't have a full size mirror if that's what you need. They are great quality imo.
I have dry eyes and my ophthalmologist advised me to avoid tight lining. Love Patrick Ta brushes. Can’t live without Charlotte’s airbrush flawless finish powder.
Hi Risa! Your video was perfection !!…. I sometimes get confused regarding “brushes”, … I now know that I can buy the “perfect ones” on your recommendation… ❤
Ever since I started tight lining, I’ve felt so much better about my eye look. Doing eyeliner right above my lash line just doesn’t look good n me. Plus I’m not great at it. A great sunscreen is from beauty of joseon spf 50 --highly recommend. I think it would work for all skin types too.
I can’t begin to afford what you recommended, but you provided the guidelines I needed after I had to replace all of my makeup. I wish I’d seen this four years ago. I would have bought a lot less than I have. I’m sure this will be very helpful for a number of us.

@Risa, PLEASE update us on the eyelid lifting cream. I am newly 40 but my left lid has a crazy wrinkle/fold that’s been there for a while. I think it’s from sleeping on that side for years. PLEASE update on that product because I’ve been trying creams for my lids for years with little results. I’m getting some benefit from Exuviance eye contour cream but it’s so expensive and taking a while to see results. Looking forward to the honest update!
I’m 54 and don’t consider myself mature at all!!! Maybe it’s because I live with my 78 years young Mom. I’m just starting to do skin care for the 1st time in my life. Wish I’d used sunscreen more. I’ve noticed dark circles & crepeiness under my eyes and I’ve lost 56 lbs & the loose neck skin is starting to show. I’m trying the gua sha tools. I think they’re helping. I cant afford a Ziip, like, ever!!! However I did buy a all color spectrum face mask that was on sale & have been using just a red & blue wand for several weeks til my mask gets here. Not sure it’s working, but they don’t allow returns. So, anyone, if you’re thinking of getting a ReVive Luz Glō wand… I wouldn’t. I also wouldn’t get the Solawave wand & serum. Returned those. Too messy & saw no results. I totally went off topic! Sorry! I love your videos. I learn so much from them and now have an overly full makeup bag (the one from Amazon you recommended before). I think I’ll get this larger one instead, so I can fit my palettes in. Thank you Risa!!!! 💖
I like your videos and suggestions because we have the same type of skin. They are very helpful. I also just purchased 2 of the City Lips glosses. Thank you for the code!
Risa, I have a few questions. I have been using Tart creaseless concealer for my under eyes for years. You promote Natasha Denona concealer. In your opinion which is better or are they the same? Thank you for the City Lips code. I have always wanted to try it out it was a little expensive. I used your code & ordered 2 glosses. I can’t wait for them to arrive!
Enjoyed this video! Question though....when you were talking about the StansOut sponge you recommended using it to get the fullest coverage possible. I've always thought a sponge would give you lighter coverage. Is this sponge different than others? Thanks, Risa!
Yes, this sponge is different in that it’s meant to be use dry(vs damp like a beauty blender) and it’s made with a material that soaks up far less product.
Such great products Risa. I must have been influenced by you because the Luminous Silk foundation, YSL & Teint Idole mascara, ABH brow freeze, CT powder, CT lipliner and lipsticks, CT setting spray, CT bronze & glow and the CT water cream (fragrance free) are my Holy Grails. Plus the Elf Wow Brow, Westman Atelier contour, and Rare Beauty eye primer. I am still loving the Huda concealer for my mature dry under eyes but I would like to try the ND. I recommend these to my friends who are starting over with makeup and they love all these products too. Great content as always 💖
@@RisaDoesMakeup 🥰The same thing is happening to the MAC Face & Body btw... So I feel your pain! I'm a C2 and can't find light/med shades anywhere! 😰I'm praying this is just a re-packaging thing 🙏🏼
Hi Risa. I am so happy you have done this. Thank you. I am strapped for time but i will be getting a pen and paper out to jot down these products. Much love from Canada 🇨🇦🤗
Click on the “more” button & take a screenshot, so you don’t have to write it all down. So much easier in my experience. I edit it with the pens for the products I really want. Very useful. 💕
I finally tried IT CC nude glow cream spf40 because every one talks about it- it’s too drying. I have tried different skin care moisturizer and if apply after it pills.
Thanks for this great info! Could you please add substitutes for the 3 dropper foundations? I have fired all dropper foundations/tints because I can’t stand the mess, so I would never buy them (I tossed two shades of the L’Oréal tint after fighting with them for three months).
I have been watching you for a long time and this is one of the best videos you have ever done in my opinion. Other people have done similar videos, but this was very very in-depth and complete. I really enjoyed it. It really gave me some good ideas here’s an idea for you, it would be nice if you would sell curated bags for people based on their skin tone and type with all these products in them I know I would buy one. I think other people would as well.
This was a great video Risa! I am devastated on my view of ulta’s website and seeing that my Mac Studio Fix foundation is out of stock along with almost every shade! That is one of my Holy Grail foundations if all time 😫
I read that the Mac Studio Fix is getting reformulated but I don’t know how accurate the source was. I can’t imagine them discontinuing such a popular foundation. However, it seems like every cosmetic brand that Estée Lauder buys they seem to do some type of damage.
What a great bideo!! Ty Risa! You always provide good info for all skin types! I have mature ,sensitive skin, fragrance sensitive and some texture!! 😅😅😅You are so relatable and this does create s great makeup bag w lots of amazing products/options or at least a good framework! Ty!!!🎉🎉🎉

Thanks very helpful!
If my eyebrows are sisters one must be adopted! 🤣
Great video! I love city lips! My go to! You gave me so many ideas! Thank you Risa.
I have almost everything you mentioned. I love the YSL Mascara I can't see me ever going back to my Lancôme.
Great video ❤❤
Risa, I have a few questions. I have been using Tart creaseless concealer for my under eyes for years. You promote Natasha Denona concealer. In your opinion which is better or are they the same? Thank you for the City Lips code. I have always wanted to try it out it was a little expensive. I used your code & ordered 2 glosses. I can’t wait for them to arrive!
Loved! Thank you!
Turning 50 and my face is so dry. What products would you recommend for my cosmetic bag as I’m not a make up user. Thanks so much
Enjoyed this video!
Thanks so much for your reply! I will have to check it out. :)
Wow!! We’re makeup twins now!! I love hearing things like this. 😊😘
@@RisaDoesMakeup 🥰The same thing is happening to the MAC Face & Body btw... So I feel your pain! I'm a C2 and can't find light/med shades anywhere! 😰I'm praying this is just a re-packaging thing 🙏🏼
Perfect 😍 makeup 💄 Risa Does makeup 💄 I love 💕 everything you love 💕 beautiful 😍 choice of variety
Hi Risa. I am so happy you have done this. Thank you. I am strapped for time but i will be getting a pen and paper out to jot down these products. Much love from Canada 🇨🇦🤗
🇨🇦here too
Click on the “more” button & take a screenshot, so you don’t have to write it all down. So much easier in my experience. I edit it with the pens for the products I really want. Very useful. 💕
@@stargirlofantares9053 thank you so much! 🤗♥️
I found one foundation/skin tint out of 4 without added fragrance/parfum/perfume.
That’s a “win” in my book.
I finally tried IT CC nude glow cream spf40 because every one talks about it- it’s too drying. I have tried different skin care moisturizer and if apply after it pills.
The Mac foundation is getting reformulated according to the gal at Ulta love you
I’m 42 and watch every single of your videos! Always very helpful, thank you!!
Thanks risa your video was so helpful❤
I still think you should try Mally's Face Defender. Its like applying a soft focus edit directly on your face
I'm ready for you to make me one of these bags! 😁
Risa, do you have a code for now? I missed the sale!
Risa I lost you ! I found you again! Your tips have been so helpful-makeup and clothing!! What do you think about micro needling ? Jowls?
You should have added what you think is the minimum cleanser products to take travelling too.
What a great bideo!! Ty Risa! You always provide good info for all skin types! I have mature ,sensitive skin, fragrance sensitive and some texture!! 😅😅😅You are so relatable and this does create s great makeup bag w lots of amazing products/options or at least a good framework! Ty!!!🎉🎉🎉
Great video!! I wish I had all these products!!
I’m 61 and love all your videos 👍🏻💓
Giiiiirrrrrrl! THAT TOP!
It’s from Venus but I think I got it back in 2022.
Just placed my order for 6 glosses using your code, Risa! Thanks for this video. I was just thinking I'd love to watch something from you today. I don't care what the topic is, just something from you because you're always so informative!
You’re so sweet! Thank you so much! 🥰
