Yes! Please! A part 2! There are so many products available today & it seems to be constantly changing! It can be very confusing trying to navigate what is important, how to use the product, etc! I have always used sunscreen, but am now over 50 and I am extremely confused & don't want to be influenced by content creators, but want information from experts in the field of skincare!

A very special thanks to Dr.Arampatzis. He answered so many questions as far as skin care & how to treat our skin. I’m very guilty of over cleansing & applying so much moisturizer! Sunscreen is important but finding the right one can be very difficult. Thank you Andreea for bringing this interview for us all. I certainly can’t wait for part two!! The Dr is so kind, down to earth & seems so integrious. And, as he pointed out he was very comfortable to be honest & real because of YOU! 💖💫
Consider my mind blown! This was the best presentation on skin care that I’ve ever seen. The two of you were prepared and informative-brilliant. I learned what I’m doing right and wrong, and I so much look forward to part II.
Seriously!!! So validating lol. The money I've spent trying to find the right Vit C product but every single one ruined my skin. It's not a friend of mine 😂
Very informative! Thank you for arranging this interview and I would love to see a part two. He did really well on camera and came off very natural and honest. Loved it!
This is great information!! Would love a part 2. We have all been brainwashed by media, influencers and tv salespeople talking about “clean beauty” which never was a real thing! I can’t stand it. Looking forward to more from this doctor and you Andreea. ❤
@@ffmadari which might be a good thing because it shows they are fresh but “clean” beauty is not even approved terminology from what i hear. The companies have literally made it up as just another marketing ploy to sell sell sell! I’m buying whatever i want from now on.
I think you get your job one step forward with this kind of videos , Andreea. Bying products and being commercial is ok, but knowing what you really need to buy is the key that bridges the gap. Thanks for the sincere conversation!
Hi Andrea, one of your best videos ever, congrats!!! I was so happy to hear, after watching this content, that I am not making almost none of these mistakes. I have seriously educated myself with dermatologists throughout my life and, although I have had good and bad experiences of course, I have learnt so much that I can consider myself a very humble expert on my own skin. Four of the basic but most important lessons are, first to always always listen to your skin, second never ever miss a double cleansing at night, third, your face starts from the upper part of your chest and finally ,always always use sunscreen, and your skin will be so much happier. I am 61 years old and I don't look older than 50. Thanks again dear, great content :)
Thank you so much for this video. Harry (smart Greek doctor) spoke clearly and wisely. I’m going to watch this again because I thought he was very deliberate and thoughtful in his delivery.
I would really like to know the experts thoughts on skin care devices such as microcurrent, red light masks, radio frequency devices and lasers. This video is a refreshing change from the usual - thank you!
I think we all know that SPF is crucial in our daily routine. However! Realistically, how many of us will reapply every two hours? When you live in a country where the summer temperatures reach 40*+ and you sweat profusely and the product says apply to clean DRY skin??? Trying to apply it to sweaty or even damp, clammy skin is nigh on impossible and although I keep a small towel in my bag to wipe my face, no matter how ‘light’ the product is, I end up with a patchy usually white face because my skin will always be damp!!! I wish this was addressed when talking to experts and manufacturers take this into account!
Thank you so much Andreea for your information about skin care and sun screen my husband got skin cancer from driving its so important putting on sunscreen. ❤❤❤
Excellent! I am so tired of people giving advice who are hardly in a position to do so. Thank you Andreea for having a qualified doctor. I would be very happy to see more, he is very good.
You also have to remember that research is expensive, especially on the big scale and people that invest the money into the research want to see “certain” results that might push the direction of studies in one or another direction (I am a scientist myself but in a much smaller scale!). I have become so skeptical that I actually cannot trust anyone…Biologique Recherche works for me, so I decided not to dig or question. Nice video, thank you!
PART TWO please! And perhaps a small portion of that should include discussing red (blue, green, yellow or orange as well) LED light therapy masks. Especially since women are so focused on results and it’s something they can do at home for themselves in as little as 10 minutes a day a couple of times a week. There’s a wide variety of products to choose from that are affordable and obtainable for everyone. Blue LED light for example kills the germs associated with cystic acne and prevents scarring while red light promotes healing and helps to build collagen. Not to mention that they’re a gentle and pain free option to healing irritated or inflamed skin. Thank you for sharing this information and having such a credible amicable expert help us sort through skincare and enlighten us about our own biology. Magnifique! ✨
LOVED this video! Cannot wait for part 2. Such a difference of opinion from what the U.S. DRS say. They more or less go with all of the hype of products being thrown at us. Use retinol, vitamin c, laser treatments etc. Would love to find someone to tell me the truth like your guest. Such a pleasure to listen to the truth. Thank you.
Yes please on part 2! Loved this! Especially as someone who understands sensitivity to vitamin C and Retinols even though this is not popularly understood or even accepted by some dermatologists. I know my skin doesn’t like it, as I have tried so many times in so many ways, even in small or low doses, so I just avoid it, but would still love the benefit of anti-aging products, so the search continues. Can’t wait for part two! 🩷
wonderful. Special thanks to Harry Arampatzis. He's such a charming humble man and did a great job talking and make me understand the do and don't. I'd really appreciate the part 2. And Andreea you're content is always lovely - thank you for putting it all together 💗
Outstanding, Andreea!! You and Harry make a great team! Thank you for inviting Harry and giving us such an incredibly informative and helpful session on skincare. Greatly appreciated and enjoyed. ❤👏👏
LOVED this. And loved him. Thank you for doing this Andreea and would definitely love a part 2! Also, love at the end where he said this isn’t his typical audience but you made him feel so comfortable 🥰
Thank you SO MUCH Andrea and a huge thanks to the Dermatologist! Xoxo 😘 This was wonderful! I can't say how many times I've been tempted to try Retinol again, even though I know my skin gets red, puffy, and blotchy from it! My skin does not like this product. It was very nice to hear him say "the skin knows what to do to take care of itself." That reminds me to listen to my body, let it tell me what it needs. Also, so good to hear yes!!! Talc is not always 'bad' if it is purified. It makes our makeup so much nicer. Also good to hear that Clean Beauty does not really have defined standards and to pay more attention to what is actually IN the products. LOVE this!! Yes, a Part 2 would be AMAZING!!! 💞💞💞
I grew up in Arizona. In sun all summer. Never thought of sunscreen until I started watching TH-cam! And I’m in my 50’s! How crazy! Highly educated family and no one ever mentioned it! Everyone in my family has had skin cancers removed. I’ve never been checked (brilliant!). Need to get the word out to people. Even if you aren’t sitting out in the sun all day. Thank you for emphasizing this! ❤

I am confused avout the moisturizer thing. This is from Paula's Choice site and I really was trusting them along time helping me with knowledge about skincare and ingredients... Who and what to believe now? Myth: If you apply moisturizer every day your skin becomes lazy and loses its ability to stay hydrated on its own. Truth: Skin doesn’t “get used to” being hydrated and forget how to stay hydrated on its own. It isn’t physiologically possible any more than your body gets used to drinking water or eating healthy foods daily. Your body needs help staying hydrated and healthy and your skin needs help too, just in a different way. Over time, skin loses its ability to stay naturally hydrated as it did when we were young. This occurs for a variety of reasons, but mostly because of sun damage and age. Climate also plays a part: Arid conditions can be a problem, especially if you aren’t giving your skin what it needs like a brilliantly-formulated moisturizer. Skin can also become dry from using bad skin care products such as abrasive scrubs, harsh cleansing brushes, and fragranced products. Often, all it takes to get skin back to normal is using better moisturizing products with skin replenishing and restoring ingredients, so it can recover. The problem of dryness may indeed go away when you stop damaging your skin. Myth: Skin can become addicted to moisturizer. Truth: This one is a bit confusing because if your skin is naturally dry (from genetics) or becomes dry (because of an impaired surface barrier due to sun damage and age), the dryness will be instantly alleviated by routine application of a moisturizer. You can’t repair the damage that caused the dryness, but you can improve the condition by using a barrier-repairing moisturizer (and maintain the improvement, just like your diet does for your body). Skin cannot become physically or psychologically addicted to moisturizer in the way a person can be addicted to cigarettes or illicit drugs. What can happen with routine use of facial or body moisturizer is that we become accustomed to our skin feeling and looking a certain way, and dislike how our skin feels in its un-moisturized condition. So, we keep applying moisturizer to maintain the feeling we like. This isn’t addiction or dependence; we’re not compelled to do this because the urge is too powerful to overcome-we do it because that’s how we like our skin to feel and what it needs to look the way it did when it was young. Myth: You only need to moisturize if you wash your skin daily. Truth: Some of us over-cleanse or over-scrub our skin, which steadily depletes the naturally-occurring substances that keep skin intact and hydrated (like ceramides, fatty acids, or hyaluronic acid). But by using a gentle, fragrance-free face wash, a mild, soap-free body cleanser and avoiding long baths or showers (which break down skin’s moisture-protecting barrier) you can cleanse daily without worry of dehydrating skin. From there, the kind of moisturizer you need depends on your skin type and concerns. Myth: You only need moisturizer if you have visibly dry, flaky skin. Truth: Not so, and it would be a terrible mistake to believe this one! Regardless of your skin type, as long as you choose a moisturizer with beneficial ingredients and a skin type-appropriate texture (cream for dry skin, gel or liquid for oily skin, and lotion for normal to combination skin), you can absolutely gain amazing benefits from using one. Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Debra Jaliman recommends “using a daily moisturizer compatible with your skin type” for healthy skin. However, you can also get those must-have ingredients from other types of skin care products (such as face serums, treatments, boosters, and toners); a product doesn’t have to be labeled “moisturizer” or have a creamy texture for your skin to get what it needs to be healthy. As a special tip to those struggling with flaky skin and breakouts trying to find the best moisturizer for acne: choose one that’s oil-free and has a sheer, lightweight texture that won’t clog pores.
Fascinating, thank God for this video, it was about time for a real expert dermatologist to speak up. Seriously Andrea, many congratulations to both of you 🙏💐💯🌹🌹
This is on point I just tried two new products everyone is obsessed with and they irritated my skin, one was Vitamin C and other serum for acne, both went terribly wrong. So I am 100% sticking to my routine and not changing it, I have been on gentle skin care for many years now and 100% it's true, less is more and use gentle products over intensive. Thank you
Great video Andrea! What a good idea to invite a doctor to give us some real good advices :-) I'll be waiting for part 2 for sure! It would be nice eventually to consider different climates when giving advices- I'm canadian, our winters are harsh (up to - 50 degrees) as opposed to Europe. I personnaly need to protect my skin by layering oil + moisturizer to face the cold wind and snow. Thanks to Dr. Aramatzis for accepting your invitation and I hope to see him soon again on your channel. Have a great day/ evening, big hugs from Canada💖🇨🇦
What a wonderful video. It’s just so great to listen to someone who is an expert in his field. I really hope you will have a 2nd part with Dr Arampatzis as I learned so much this time around.
Confirms a lot of things I’ve felt about my skin. When I use actives my skin becomes more inflamed and sensitive but the moment I remove them my skin looks healthier and feels more balanced - glad there was some confirmation here that in some cases this is valid.
Thank you for the advice of backing off on skincare products. The technology and development of "cosmetically elegant" sunscreens is pretty recent. I easily remember heavily scented, greasy sunscreens with spf 4-8. No wonder we are a generation with sun damage.
I appreciate this episode very much!,Thnak you so much for doing this Andreea!!Really looking forward for part II. This episode was so helpful and informative. Would be really intreif you could do more on this subject!!!❤👏🙏
Great interview. I do not use retinol nor do I use Vitamin C and I stopped when it was not "fashionable" to do so but it was the right choice for my skin.
Love, love the information done about the care of our skin…time to construct our best skin routine based on sunscreens first! Thank you from a women 57 years old 😊
Such a great informative video , I have mild rosacea and I was influenced to use retinal and I feel like it was making me look older and my skin was not liking it even after months of using it. Once I stopped my skin looked so much better honestly. Sometime some products just don’t work for your skin type and you just have to except it and be more gentle.
Really enjoyed this video. The opinion of an expert is always welcomed, he explained everything so clearly and easy to understand for 'non-connaisseur'. In my opinion Andreea, you should think starting a podcast on this type of topics :) Looking forward for the 2nd part!
Would love to see an updated morning and evening skincare routine video following this interview. I would especially like to see how you recommend reapplying sunscreen throughout the day over makeup. Very interesting video! Thank you both.
Thanks Andreea. This has been such an interesting and informative video, especially about vitamin C. Wow! I just did my skin consult on his website. Can’t wait to get my results with correct products. Please have him back to speak about face and body products for mature skin.
I really enjoyed this video. I had a very oily face in youth, and never used moisturizers, and most acne creams I found made things worse. Now I've developed a thyroid auto immune, my face is no longer oily, but my body us very dry. I can't possibly drink any More water. So I started using a good quality lotion on body. But my face doesn't feel like it needs it after my serum. But I do use a good eye cream. My face and body have never been better. But I've wondered if I was doing the right things. Now I feel totally confident that I am doing what's right for me. Thank you!!
I am shocked at how much useful (needful) information I got out of your interview with this doctor! It seems to be "common sense" that I didn't realize. Thank you so much for having him help us. It was such a lovely interview, and answered SO MANY OF MY QUESTIONS! I can't wait till your next interview with him about good/bad products!
This was so short and needs to be longer. I’m left with so many questions about clean beauty. I spent years trying to find the perfect double cleanse product to have one of the components going clean and stop working. Why mess with something that works when it’s getting rinsed. I love he mentioned micelar waters . We need more expertise talk.
Andrea!! You did such a great job interviewing him! You might want to start a podcast on this where you interview various experts and people in the industry. Kuddos to you! Great job! Thank you!
Haven't kept up with the YT content lately, but I really appreciate bringing a *real* clinician to talk about skin care rather than self proclaimed skin enthusiasts who make up ridiculous non-evidence based claims and regimens.

Thank Andreea and Dr Harry, excellent content, absolutely loved it!!
Fascinating, thank God for this video, it was about time for a real expert dermatologist to speak up. Seriously Andrea, many congratulations to both of you 🙏💐💯🌹🌹
So helpful to have an educated point of view. Very grateful.
Thank you so much, Andrea, for bringing us this most important information!
Andrea, it's one of the most interesting programs I have ever heard. Thank you very much for this. 💝
Wow! Fantastic video with such helpful and important information! Thank you Andreea and Dr Arampatzis!! YES to a Part 2 please!!
Wow 🤩 thank you for sharing this amazing information!!! You are the most talented and inspiring person in this industry ❤❤❤
What a wonderful video. It’s just so great to listen to someone who is an expert in his field. I really hope you will have a 2nd part with Dr Arampatzis as I learned so much this time around.
Wow finally someone who knows what he’s talking about
Loved this so helpful thank you both ❤
Absolutely love this video ! I can’t wait for the part 2. Thank you so much ❤❤
Confirms a lot of things I’ve felt about my skin. When I use actives my skin becomes more inflamed and sensitive but the moment I remove them my skin looks healthier and feels more balanced - glad there was some confirmation here that in some cases this is valid.
Thank you for confirming not all can use vit c and retinol. I no longer feel a failure for not tolerating
Thank you from a women 57 years old 😊
I’ve learned a lot, thank you guys! Andreaa your a natural as an interviewer!
Love this!! Excited for part 2!
Same. Didn't matter the strength, carrier or texture.
I was dry and irritated.
Much better without
Really enjoyed this video. The opinion of an expert is always welcomed, he explained everything so clearly and easy to understand for 'non-connaisseur'. In my opinion Andreea, you should think starting a podcast on this type of topics :) Looking forward for the 2nd part!
Can you please, please, please 🙏 talk about how to get rid of dark spots . Thank you ❤❤❤
Would love to see an updated morning and evening skincare routine video following this interview.
Please have him back to speak about face and body products for mature skin.
love this interview ! so much knowledge, so much expertise ! please make such videos more often :)
Thank you Andrea for sharing Harry with us! What an informative and sobering video. Please do a part 2 for us.
Can't wait to see part 2. Wonderful and also revealing. Thank youuu!!
Thank you!!
Thank you a lot very informative & easy to listen & understand 🌷💕🌷💕🌷 and yes please part 2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you both of you! The best video about the skin care truth! Bravo, Andreea and Dr.Arampatsis!
I love that more derms are coming out to talk about “clean beauty” and how it’s not the best option for our skin 👏
Thank you for this video!!! ❤❤❤ so knowledgeable !!!! Can’t wait for part 2 🙏🏻
J'ai adoré cette vidéo Andreea, merci à vous et au Docteur. Super intéressant
❤❤❤ Same here!! I have spent years and so much money trying to find the perfect "double cleanse!"
Fabulous interview with great information. Looking forward to part two. Thank you for sharing your knowledge Dr.
My skin is extremely irritated an sensitive, esp in autumn/winter, sometimes I don't know what to use, this video was very helpful❤
Such an interesting video!! Waiting for part two!!! Thank you so much Andrea!!!
Number one is absolutely integral. What a brilliant point!!!
Excellent educational video! Would love to see more of this!
Andrea!! You did such a great job interviewing him! You might want to start a podcast on this where you interview various experts and people in the industry. Kuddos to you! Great job! Thank you!
Thank you for bringing on a skincare expert!!!
Such a pleasure to watch you both! The doctor is very charismatic and gave us very valuable information! And yes, I'm waiting for the second part. 🤗🫶
Wonderful video! Very informative👏🏻
Yes part 2 pleaseeee...
Amazing video 👍🏼 thank you Andreea and I totally agree with everything the expert said.
Haven't kept up with the YT content lately, but I really appreciate bringing a *real* clinician to talk about skin care rather than self proclaimed skin enthusiasts who make up ridiculous non-evidence based claims and regimens.
