Love it !!! Don’t ever stop doing music !!!! When there’s talent there’s a heart & soul with a mind nourished by a great spirit ❤ Music is alive 😇 Thank you !!!!!
So. What I have gathered is that this is about a trio playing music in a house but they do not notice the target employees slowly filling the house until it reaches maximum capacity. The Asian girl has the smart idea of trying to escape, but has little success. Target employees have taken over the planet.
anyone thought maybe clems blonde wig is reference to her past image, perhaps it's a reference to her being forced into being the sweet 18 year old cute indie kid that she doesnt want to be anymore
can we talk about how clem is amazing. I mean she wrote this because of the bands split. she literally throws her blonde hair on the floor. she's amazing
I can't believe people are whining about this. the spirit of Cherry glazerr is constant despite Hannah's absence. like this song is fucking great and they obviously still rock tf out live. Music is forever evolving and is about discovery, bitching about it is just disrespectful. SLAVE TO THE GLAZE AND GLAZE TO THE GRAVE AMIRIGHT. get it together.
I was sold the moment I saw the black Lennon style Rickenbacker. Great band! And all guitar solos should sound like that; short, sweet, and straight to the point!
[Verse 1] I was a lone wolf I thought I lost my pack Where are my ladies? Nobody has my back Girl, I should've stayed Maybe another day When I'm wide awake [Chorus] I told you I told you, I told you I'd be with the guys But I know better now than to be with the guys [Verse 2] I was a lone wolf I thought I lost my pack Where are my ladies? I guess that was my fault Girl, I should've stayed Maybe another day When I'm wide awake [Chorus] I told you I told you, I told you I'd be with the guys But I know better now than to be with the guys [Verse 3] Now, now I see the beauty It's necessary To give a lady love Oh oh, oh oh oh oh Now, now, now I see the beauty It's necessary To give a lady love Oh oh, oh oh oh oh
I love how this band is growing up, the sound is getting more mature, considering there is only 3 instruments the sound is amazing, and the vocals, amazing, keep up the good work.
Que canción tan mas chingona. Me encanta y lo mejor de todo es que tuve la oportunidad de escucharla en vivo en la CIUDAD DE MÉXICO EN EL CONCIERTO DE BILLY IDOL. CANTAS BIEN CHINGON.
Taylor B it's literally switching between the same two notes but in different octaves, which makes it so cool cause it's that simple! Like that's very rock n roll
Is anyone listening to that riff? Has there ever been anything like it in the history of rock n roll? I'm serious. I'm old and and I've never heard anything like that ferocity. I don't have a red polo tho....
i don't really understand why everyone is saying that their sound has changed drastically? it's pretty similar to their other stuff. anyways... total bop
So I've never heard of these people just kind of showed up in my feed and so I look at the comments all I see is complaining about people complaining yet I see no actual complaints.
I notice this a lot on videos, you'll see someone telling people to shut up about X but then you scroll through the comments for a dozen pages and no one is actually talking about X.
...sad to see very few people actually talking about the meaning here. the way i see it, the men in the red shirts are representative of how harmless it seems to have carried her past philosophy (i think what this song is getting at is a shift from the not like other girls/all my friends are guys attitude to something more feminist and sympathetic to other women). They are all dressed like generic chain store employees; the essence of friendly and inviting, however, the two girls get separated from each other and are quickly overwhelmed. Suddenly the presence of the "guys" has become something scary and sinister. The lyrics seem to imply that the writer of the song (I assume the lead singer but I could be wrong) had an experience where they left another girl alone in some sort of social gathering and something bad happened...the expression on the other girl's face (the girl in the car) seems to be very somber and slowly she is also overwhelmed by the "guys". The music video is brilliant because it tells a story with very powerful imagery. Something else I found interesting was the way the "guys" were portrayed. They're free-loaders, taking whatever they want with no regard for others. I'm guessing that if my theory about the writer experiencing an event which changed her attitude about male/female companionship is correct then this is meant to signify that the "guys" aren't actually that desirable to be with, whereas in the past she might have preferred their company, as if they were somehow superior to women. that's just my interpretation, of course I could be wrong. I'd be interested to hear other people's actual opinions about this. I'm not saying the state farm jokes aren't funny, I just feel like not enough attention is being payed to the actual content of the video. I scrolled through the comments and most of them fell under three categories: red shirt guy jokes, pits and nips, and "i miss the old sound". This song is only one of two I have listened to by them (the other wasn't memorable to me I suppose because I can't remember what it was called). I discovered it randomly long ago and recently I've been thinking about it so I searched for it again. I couldn't remember the title but the lyrics stuck in my mind. Whoever wrote this song is a lyrical genius in my opinion--the video director as well.
Did the unemployed guys from Radio Shack kidnap Sean? those bastards!, I meant no disrespect to Crevvy who's the leader & creator of CG , it was just a comment meant to be funny, wish Sean & The Buttertones well though
Wow - Holy crap! One of the best new(er) discoveries I've made in a while. This is so great: love this band/song. Clementine is sort of like a decidedly/uniquely modern: Twiggy meets Patti Smith vibe ~ raised on Riot Grrrl/Sleater Kinney + 60's pop. Such a bad-ass! She clearly has a "don't give two f&ck$"/hilarious take-me-or-leave me attitude...So good!
it feels weird coming back to this song 7 years later
like damn im old as f now…
It feels great
This song is INCREDIBLE! The drums are fu**ing tight, the keys create a lot of atmosphere and the guitars & vocals are melodic and rocking as hell!
I just listened to this live yesterday at the Billy Idol concert in Mexico City. Awesome sound, Cherry Glazerr!
Love billy💕
Without Sasami it's not such cool
I have been listening to this song for years and it is still one of my favorites. Love iiiit!
Same boat my friend !!!
Normally I overplay songs when I get into them too much but this one is not getting boring... cracking stuff would be an understatement.
I am just realizing how genius this songtext is. I can totally relate. thank you for writing this song.
I told you I’ll be with the guys ! Where are my ladies ?
I love the way that snare sounds, is just so rich and sweet, perfect.
I was a Lone Wolf! Cherry Glazerr Rocks!
A Masterpiece . . . A Wizard A True Star!!!
this is just wow, im speachless the vibe is amazing.
Ahh the memories! This was the soundtrack for a special period of my life, that I shared with a lover that is no longer with me.
I'm really diggin' this. I liked their earlier stuff, but they seem like they're really growing.
Love it !!! Don’t ever stop doing music !!!! When there’s talent there’s a heart & soul with a mind nourished by a great spirit ❤
Music is alive 😇
Thank you !!!!!

the walking target employees
Robert Ellis they're taking all the food...
So many Target employees, yet none of them know where to find the granola.
Zzzzzzzz
Robert Ellis and it all really happened. August 31st, 2016. Go talk to your farmers. We know a thing or two cause we've seen a thing or two.
Damn, State Farm really took their commercials to the next level.
anyone thought maybe clems blonde wig is reference to her past image, perhaps it's a reference to her being forced into being the sweet 18 year old cute indie kid that she doesnt want to be anymore
That's a very interesting and unique thing to catch. I appreciate this post
I noticed that too ❤️ Cherry Glazerr is A+ !!
Nice!!
can we talk about how clem is amazing. I mean she wrote this because of the bands split. she literally throws her blonde hair on the floor. she's amazing
this is like her throwing the cherry glazerr away
Is this a Target commercial ?
This is a strange Staples commercial.
Sean Dalin that's bcuz its obviously target commercial, silly
Where *is* the easy button?
The best one !
I can't believe people are whining about this. the spirit of Cherry glazerr is constant despite Hannah's absence. like this song is fucking great and they obviously still rock tf out live. I love this band!
oh hey girl.... :> j scrollin thru comments
Margaret Bishop oh my god hahaha fancy seeing u here!
this song is fucking amazing fuck what they say
Fucking word!!! I love that ending SLAVE TO THE GLAZE AND GLAZE TO THE GRAVE.
I was sold the moment I saw the black Lennon style Rickenbacker. Great band! And all guitar solos should sound like that; short, sweet, and straight to the point!
Right on !!!
Where redshirts go after they die on the Enterprise

So this is what all the unemployed Radio Shack Managers have been doing.
and Target ETL's
You mean Circuit City?
Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam Gooooooooooooooooooooooody
Bones Muhroni XD
My boyfriend was a manager at the Shack. A bunch of his coworkers totally got jobs at Target after the store closed.
[Verse 1]
I was a lone wolf
I thought I lost my pack
Where are my ladies?
Nobody has my back
Girl, I should've stayed
Maybe another day
When I'm wide awake
[Chorus]
I told you
I told you, I told you I'd be with the guys
But I know better now than to be with the guys
[Verse 2]
I was a lone wolf
I thought I lost my pack
Where are my ladies?
I guess that was my fault
Girl, I should've stayed
Maybe another day
When I'm wide awake
[Chorus]
I told you
I told you, I told you I'd be with the guys
But I know better now than to be with the guys
[Verse 3]
Now, now I see the beauty
It's necessary
To give a lady love
Oh oh, oh oh oh oh
Now, now, now I see the beauty
It's necessary
To give a lady love
Oh oh, oh oh oh oh
Regina Rodas thanks. was looking for these !

what is this about?
I can't believe no one is commenting about how good of a meaning this music video has. Cherry glazerr is so amazing

Well said puzzlesoup!!
I've been looking for this for 2 years! Yay! Glad I've found it
Glad for you !!! Yayyy
I love the guitar riff in this song very much. It's one of my favorites of the year... so far.
I love how this band is growing up, the sound is getting more mature, considering there is only 3 instruments the sound is amazing, and the vocals, amazing, keep up the good work.
Still one of my favourite songs of all time.
Que canción tan mas chingona. Me encanta y lo mejor de todo es que tuve la oportunidad de escucharla en vivo en la CIUDAD DE MÉXICO EN EL CONCIERTO DE BILLY IDOL. CANTAS BIEN CHINGON.
Wow how am I just hearing this?? Love it...so flashback 80s with a total new twist!!! Go Girl !!!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟
Like a good neighbor, Statefarm is... everywhere?
The 2nd half of this song is fucking pure indie rock n' roll bliss honestly. Really loving this track. Cherry Glazerr continues to kill it!!!
I never really got into Cherry Glazerr, but I really like the main riff of this song. Cool groove.
Taylor B it's literally switching between the same two notes but in different octaves, which makes it so cool cause it's that simple! Like that's very rock n roll
"What are you wearing, Jake from state farm?"
@@amanda4540 she sounds hideous
UH, KHAKIS
🤣🤣
A great song - makes me think about the best times of Veruca Salt or The Breeders - but not a copy, it is a new original
russland.RU with a dash of the donnas
Love both comments. your both right!!
Also has a bit of the nostalgic feel of The Preatures
And maybe some Sleater-Kinney
this girl's on the cusp of becoming a rock n' roll goddess, just wait n see..
Nooo, she won't let the corporations take over her career to go mainstream!
Hope not;;but look at Gwen now**
Strutting_strat +
The Regrettes are eating Cherry Glazerr and everyone else's lunch. Can they be stopped?
wait for me
Is anyone listening to that riff? Has there ever been anything like it in the history of rock n roll? I'm serious. I'm old and and I've never heard anything like that ferocity. I don't have a red polo tho....
If you like that, check out the riff on the chorus of "Wasted Nun."
Clem is just wild and beautiful!
Found this band thanks to the Netflix Original "Locke & Key" and I'm already in love! Amazing sound.
Good for you !!
Thier music is multilayered nectar for the ears and brain, I can't wait to see them in concert ❤️
As long as cherry glazerr doesnt get played on any car commercials and shit I'm cool with this new sound haha
true man, I feel that.
@ cage the elephant
....
whats wrong with that
+Nick Esparza lol
Everything about this video is perfect in context. Not to mention, whether she meant to or not, she turns that look absolutely on!
I would like to hear a new album pleaseee. Thank Cherry Glazzeer.
SOOOO powerful. Thank you 💜💜💜
As a 90s rocker, I feel like I could appreciate this more if I saw it live. I need help embracing rock's future.
Bruh Carry Glazzer is pure Rock
They have such good riffs
SEEAAANNN
I did love the old band but this lineup is great. Excellent show in Portland earlier this month!
this is hypnotic
Cette musique est envoûtante !!
love the pits!
Freaking awesome! Mind blown. We need more representation like this on shows, movies...and other music videos.
i don't really understand why everyone is saying that their sound has changed drastically? it's pretty similar to their other stuff. anyways... total bop
At first I thought they sounded totally different but a year passed I'm back and it is similar to there old sound .
This is one of mUh gnu favoritest tOOns. And Sasami Ashworth is mUh gnu favoritest...everything. :)
So I've never heard of these people just kind of showed up in my feed and so I look at the comments all I see is complaining about people complaining yet I see no actual complaints.
The only complaints I saw were the guitar riff was a little underwhelming and that's not even that bad it's just constructive criticism
I notice this a lot on videos, you'll see someone telling people to shut up about X but then you scroll through the comments for a dozen pages and no one is actually talking about X.
song has been stuck in my head all day...too good ♡
This riff is so damn good
i loved this song
in the next video I also want to take part. Nobody can drink milk like me and I am old, fat and have a red polo-shirt :-)
Hired!!
she has an amazing voice. its so different.
#AustinAugieBaby

Very cool. ^_^ Love the melody and the climax to the song.
This is great, but the original Cherry Glazerr still has my heart 😭❤️
The outro cuts so deep. What beauty!
Where's Sean?
GREAT! 🤟🏻♥️
Hello from México 🇲🇽
Meanwhile, all of yall proving Clementine's point.
Grande guitarrrista, a minha guitarrista preferida de momento .
All these target and State Farm employees....
Never heard of this band. My 1st listen & I'm digging it!
maybe i'm just not as familiar with cherry glazerr as a lot of these other people but i don't mind this
Just found Glazerr - happy to see a new album is coming!
imo it's a good song but they should rewrite the lyric at 0:55 since a lot of people seem to be confused about that part and replaying it a lot
This song is honestly so deep I always come back to this song
I really like this song!!!
Thats what I love about youtube, Im randomly always finding new music . This is pretty awesome!
Forever trying to remind myself not to read the comments section. *facepalm*
Then don't comment.
i love this guitar riff

Jace Jay I have been thinking about your comment for weeks now. Thank you for providing such a thorough analysis.
I'm agree with You
Trust me, she's safe from "the guys". Those pits haven't seen a razor in ages.
@@YourOldPalDP I love them pits.
@@YourOldPalDP You have too much faith in "the guys" if you think only conventionally attractive women get attacked.
So in love with this band since i saw them in the house of vans concert in Brooklyn
Apparently the set for this music video was built and shot in an old abandon Circuit City, which is evidenced by the knowledgeable and helpful staff.
they're so amazing live!!!!! I love them!
ok wait where's Sean.......also i miss hannah on drums :(
Yes. That ending is gnar. 🍊💘
where is the bassist dude?
and the new drummer? Wasn't that chick on drums before?
i'm confused too never saw the mole by her nose on the older videos?
He's in the buttertones now
Saw them in concert last night, and it was amazing!!!!!!
Mmm the solo is tasty.
I love this song.
My roommate plays this song 24/7.
Me too lo

Troppo bellaaaa, l'ascolto mille volte al giornooo, è come una drogaaa, braviiii
ONE QUESTION, WHERE TF IS SEAN
