Accidentally discovered this band. They have that late 80s/early 90s LA sound. Reminds me of The Muffs and The Breeders. The lead singer is definitely on the right track. This gives me hope in rock music again. I'm a fan now.

Thought so, too. I didn't notice right away, only when I hummed the melody to myself one day it suddenly struck me: Waaait a minute! ;-)
On one hand, it's pretty hard to come up with something that hasn't been done before - and it might not have happened intentionally. On the other hand, if you listen to more of their material, almost everything sounds like "borrowed" from the greats.

These guys prove that a very simple song can be just as powerful as all the shred songs or wacky math metal so popular today. The entire song is just power chords, but they absolutely nail that classic 70's British guitar tone and just enough reverb on Arrow's voice.

what music do you think inspired nirvana/mudhoney? i was huge into nirvana...i was also huge into hanoi rocks and the glam rock scene...yeah..im old...look at how she dresses..look at their live videos...she is iggy pop/ ozzy osbourne on stage....read about them...you can hear nirvana all you want...but thats not who they are inspired by. listen how the chorus goes...it sounds nothing like nirvana...youre just focusing on the guitar...which in one part sounds like ac/dc.

You are correct. If you Mom was or is as you describe, take it from an old punk (ripe age of 58). I worked also in Rock and Roll back in the day 1977 and have always loved it. At 16 with a fake ID, I would have snuck out of my house at night to see them live. Primarily because I love the Rock Goddess Lead Singer and the sound too.
