    Thanks for your great review.
    Can we have a review of the CROWN against the VENZA ??
    Both tend towards Lexus, and I bet it will be quite a tight comparison and very interesting, too.

      Why bother when their plan is to eliminate the Venza. The Crown Signia looks more like the 1st Gen. Venza than the 2020 and newer models. More cargo room too, which is where they messed up on the redesign of the 2020 Venza. I have a 2013 Limited which I intend to keep forever. If I add another car, i'll be looking at the Crown Signia or Crown Sedan. Since I already have the room of the big Venza, i'm leaning toward the sedan. JMO

    Crown is a lot more $$$$$$. We are going to purchase the Camry LE 2025 next week for $30k. The Crown low end model is 15k higher.

    Where I live (Canada) there is a $17,000 price difference between these 2 specific models you're testing. I doubt highly that I'd find many differences that woud justify paying $17k more for a Crown, and I also think the Camry is better looking :)

  • @josephlee1646
    @josephlee1646 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Once you step into and drive each vehicle, the difference in quality will be obvious. Differences that are not as evident on a video even though Ben describes the differences. The Crown feels almost Lexus-like, and it is made in Japan (a really really good thing). Both have proven drivetrains that will last hundreds of thousands of miles with good care. The Camry is the king of value even with price increases (and the lack of a less expensive non-hybrid option). But the Crown is a lifted Avalon, not a lifted Camry. I suspect most Americans would rather step up and pay a little extra for a Lexus ES. I'm guessing Crown sales will be lackluster which might be a great opportunity for deals at the end of 2025. The choice is easy if you're comparing a base Crown over the top trim Camry. If you're amortizing thousands of hours in a car cabin, you might as well be comfortable.

    Crown feels much smaller inside versus an Avalon or ES.

      I don't think there's any comparison between a Toyota and Hyundai. JMO but, when I researched used in 2020 before buying my 2013 Venza, Hyundai was having a lot of issues with their cars in comparison. So was Kia. In fact, 2009 I bought a 05 Suzuki Grand Vitara, dealer also had a Santa Fe and Sorento. After a test drive the Suzuki won hands down over the other two. It was way more solid. I put 74K miles on it, at 104K my most major repair was a radiator replacement. I'm kicking myself for not keeping that car. I see it around town every now and then. Always do your research on reliability, never just fall in love with the looks. Same as looking for a spouse...lol.

    Crown is nice but I don't think its really worth it unless you get the Max hybrid with it. Then you get a 30mpg hybrid but can still do 0-60 in under 5.5 seconds. Otherwise save the cash and get a ES hybrid or a Camry or even the new accord.

    • @RosyMapleMoth55

      Makes me wonder how it handles on the open hgwy. When I punch it on my 2013 Venza Lim., 0-60 in 6.5 with v-6, the car literally seems to lift up. Front tires break loose easily from a dead stop. The front end is too light, though it does handle S turns amazingly well and fast. I know i'm not supposed to drive it like a sports car but, it seems to give you that option, to a degree...😁

  • @tjs114
    @tjs114 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    To be blunt, there really isn't any appreciable difference between any Toyota products, be it a Corolla, Camry, Crown or the Lexus labelled versions. Sound insulation and plastic choices are pretty much the only differentiations. Well, some suspension, but in reality? The price differentials really aren't enough to justify the prices. The Crown/Camry pairing is going to fail just like the RAV4/latest Venza pairing. Not enough difference to justify the price.
    And sorry, but I've always found Toyota's performance editions being called turd rather funny.
