숏로우즈에서 어려우신 분들~~ 일단 이 부분은 따라하는건 어렵지 않지만 스스로 디자인 하는건 어려울 수 있으니 종이에 그림그려가면서 계산을 하시면 이해가 빨리 될거예요. 1. 뒷판의 총 콧수에서 절반까지 가서 시작할거예요. 편물의 겉면을 볼 때 시작점이 뒷판의 오른쪽에 있죠? 가운데까지 갑니다. (샘플 : 22코) 2. 몇센치 단위로 턴을 할건지 정합니다. (샘플 : 4cm/8코) 3. 정한 콧수만큼 갑니다. (22+8 = 30) 4. 턴을 하고 3에서 왼쪽으로 갔던 만큼 + 똑같은 양으로 오른쪽 감 (총 16코에서 첫코 걸러뜨기 + 안뜨기 15) 5. 턴을 하고 더블스티치까지 감. 더블스티치는 모아뜨기해서 싱글스티치로 만들어주고 다시 8코를 감. 6. 5를 반복 7. 얼마나 반복? 본인이 원하는 만큼 : 옷을 안 떠보신분은 기성복의 차이를 비교하시면 됩니다. 저는 4cm 정도 했어요. 더 높게 하셔도 됩니다. 숏로우즈가 뭔지 찾아보고 그림도 그려봤는데 이 모든게 다 이해가 안된다 : 숏로우즈 생략 가능. 스텝3으로 고고 Those who have a hard rime with short rows : If you are not familiar with it, calculate drawing in a notebook. to understand quickly. 1. Short rows is started at the middle of back panel. Beginning marker is between back panel and left sleeve(when wearing). Go to beginning point of short rows. (video:22 sts) 2. Decide how many cm you want to turn. (video:4cm/8sts) 3. Go as long as you determined. (22+8=30sts) 4. Turn, go as long as no.3(8) + same sts more for other side (It's 16 sts, sl the first st + p 15) 5. Turn, go to double st, knit double st together to make a single st, go 8 sts more. 6. Rep no.5 7. How many repeated? As your desired length. If you haven't worked a sweater, you can compare the difference in your sweater in closet. I worked 4cm high. You can work it higher. Oh, I don't understand at all even though I'm drawing in a notebook : Short rows can be omitted. Move to step 3.

Can we use the written pattern for the Just Sweater on your Ravelry. I could understand the short rows better if they are in writing. I have your Just Sweater pattern that has short rows but like this sweater because of the pocket or I can just add a pocket to the just sweater. 😂 Think I just answered myself.

After the short rows you placed markers dividing the stitches into 45, 15 , 45 , 15 . After starting the raglan and increasing every other round of 68 rounds my total stiches for front and back panel is 113 each and but for the sleeves the stitches became 79 each just after 68 rounds ( increased alternate rounds) . I canoot figure this out. Can anyonehelp me please.
@@asoma312 hello, sorry for the late reply I just saw the notification... so from what I gathered, each raglan increase round you add 8 stitches to the entire stitch count. ( add to 2 stitches to the back panel, 2 to the front etc) then you follow that by 1 knit all row. Row 1 - increase 8 stitches Row 2 - knit all stitches Row 3 - increase 8 stitches Row 4 - knit all stitches Repeat to Row 68. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the tutorial, it is my first time making a sweater and I need help ,, I didn’t understand the increasing part at the end ,, you said increase 8 stitches on every other round and then said 2 stitches in 2 rounds , I’m confused ,, and if I will increase 8 stitches in 1st row and 3rd row …. till I reach 112 stitches then I will only need 17 rows not 68 ,, plz explain for me what I misunderstand
there are four sections for a total of 8 increases per increase round but since the front panel is only one of the four sections (front panel, left sleeve, back panel, right sleeve) it only gets a increase of 2 per increase row and since it started at 44 stitches you need to get to 112 it will take 34 increase rows adding to a total of 68 rows

뒷판의 가운데까지 가서 거기서 원하시는 만큼 더 가서 턴을 하시면 돼요. 예를 들면 뒷판이 32코니까 뒤판 가운데까지 가서 시작하니까 16코를 가고, 그 다음에 저는 8코 단위로 턴을 했지만 게이지가 저보다 크니까 4코나 6코 단위로 턴을 하시면 돼요. 만약 4코를 한다고 치면 시작점에서 16+4=20 이니까 20코를 가서 턴, 걸러뜨기, 바늘비우기, 안7, 턴, 그리고 계속 더블스티치 나올때까지 뜨고 4코를 더 가서 턴, 안쪽에서도 똑같이 하시면 됩니다. 몇 단을 할건지도 정하시면 돼요. 저는 4cm 정도 했던거 같고 보통 4-7cm 정도 하시면 될건데 원하시는 대로 하시면 됩니다. 옷을 안 떠봐서 원하시는게 뭔지 모를 경우 기성복이랑 비교를 해보시면 돼요.
Thank you for the videos. I have a question. For shaping raglan: at 34:48 you said increase 8 sts in a round, then at 36:45 the calculation used "increase 2 sts every 2 rows". So do we (increase 8 sts in a round, knit without increase in next round) two times, then increase 2 sts every 2 rows? If it is "increase 2 sts every 2 rows", is the increase M1L or M1R to the raglan line? Thank you.
I started knitting this sweater today and my understanding is that you increase 8 stitches every other row, but only 2 of those belong to the back and front panels, which is why she says "2 sts for 2 rounds". You increase 8 sts altogether but they're split over the different parts: 2 for left sleeve, 2 for back panel, 2 for right sleeve and 2 for front panel. That way, after 68 rows, you should have 112 sts in the front panel and 112 sts in the back panel. I had to write it down on paper for myself, so I'll share that with you here in case it also helps you. The first marker is the beginning of the row. After first marker: K1 M1L. Before second marker: M1R. Now you've increased 2 sts for back panel. After second marker: K1 M1L. Before third marker: M1R. Now you've increased 2 sts for right sleeve (and 4 altogether). After third marker: K1 M1L. Before fourth marker: M1R. Now you've increased 2 sts for front panel (and 6 altogether). After fourth marker: K1 M1L. Before first marker: M1R. Now you've increased 2 sts for left sleeve (and 8 altogether). And of course remember to only do the increases every other row, not every row!

Hi, I don’t understand how to calculate the first number to knit when starting the short rows, yours says k30 and then turn. My stitch gauge is 1,5sts

아뇨 저는 뒷판이 44코, 시작코가 오른쪽에 있으니까 뒷판 중간에서부터 숏로우즈를 시작하려면 중간까지 가려고 22코를 뜬거고 거기서 저는 8코 단위로 터닝을 할거라서 22+8은 30이 나온거예요.

뒷판의 가운데까지 가서 거기서 원하시는 만큼 더 가서 턴을 하시면 돼요. 예를 들면 뒷판이 32코니까 뒤판 가운데까지 가서 시작하니까 16코를 가고, 그 다음에 저는 8코 단위로 턴을 했지만 게이지가 저보다 크니까 4코나 6코 단위로 턴을 하시면 돼요. 만약 4코를 한다고 치면 시작점에서 16+4=20 이니까 20코를 가서 턴, 걸러뜨기, 바늘비우기, 안7, 턴, 그리고 계속 더블스티치 나올때까지 뜨고 4코를 더 가서 턴, 안쪽에서도 똑같이 하시면 됩니다. 몇 단을 할건지도 정하시면 돼요. 저는 4cm 정도 했던거 같고 보통 4-7cm 정도 하시면 될건데 원하시는 대로 하시면 됩니다. 옷을 안 떠봐서 원하시는게 뭔지 모를 경우 기성복이랑 비교를 해보시면 돼요.

Thank you for the videos. I have a question. For shaping raglan: at 34:48 you said increase 8 sts in a round, then at 36:45 the calculation used "increase 2 sts every 2 rows". So do we (increase 8 sts in a round, knit without increase in next round) two times, then increase 2 sts every 2 rows? If it is "increase 2 sts every 2 rows", is the increase M1L or M1R to the raglan line? Thank you.
I started knitting this sweater today and my understanding is that you increase 8 stitches every other row, but only 2 of those belong to the back and front panels, which is why she says "2 sts for 2 rounds".
You increase 8 sts altogether but they're split over the different parts: 2 for left sleeve, 2 for back panel, 2 for right sleeve and 2 for front panel. That way, after 68 rows, you should have 112 sts in the front panel and 112 sts in the back panel.
I had to write it down on paper for myself, so I'll share that with you here in case it also helps you.
The first marker is the beginning of the row.
After first marker: K1 M1L.
Before second marker: M1R.
Now you've increased 2 sts for back panel.
After second marker: K1 M1L.
Before third marker: M1R.
Now you've increased 2 sts for right sleeve (and 4 altogether).
After third marker: K1 M1L.
Before fourth marker: M1R.
Now you've increased 2 sts for front panel (and 6 altogether).
After fourth marker: K1 M1L.
Before first marker: M1R.
Now you've increased 2 sts for left sleeve (and 8 altogether).
And of course remember to only do the increases every other row, not every row!

아뇨 그건 디자인을 어떻게 하시느냐에 따라 달라요. 얼만큼 높이를 높일건지 정해서 그 높이에 따라 단수가 나오기 때문에 저는 4-5cm 간격으로 한거예요. 숏로우즈를 하는 방법은 규칙이 있지만 얼마나 할 것인지는 규칙이라기 보다 디자인 영역이라 본인 마음이에요!
