That negative display looks good under your studio lights, but I've never come across one I can still see in regular lighting conditions. Yeah, I'm old.

The digits looks pretty big, so that might compensate. Nonetheless, always a no-go for me too.

I’m old too and a recent purchaser of this version. The display is good enough and I don’t regret buying it.

Im a major negative display hater with bad eyes but this one is pretty good.

Yeah, I bought a positive display version after initially buying the negative display. I regret nothing...

Good watch. I have the positive display model. If the stopwatch went beyond an hour i would certainly wear it more often. Thank you for the video.

Halo, would you review Casio Timber Cruiser TIC-103 JDM?
It is so underated and rare to find. I saw one of my friend wear it and it looks so cool👍

I have the positive display model on a khaki green fabric style strap. It is awesome.

How's the fabric strap in water, or especially sea water? Is it difficult to wash it out afterwards?

@@cpl8168Definitely get the version with plastic strap if you intend to wear the watch in water. I am pretty sure the fabric strap will not survive well if it gets wet.

Nice review. I have this Casio SGW100-1V, this with one sensor Casio AQW101 and this with 3 sensors Casio PRG70-3V, this last one I think is quite rare

I think the positive display with the military green band and display is the coolest looking one. But unfortunately the legibility is still very weak. But for the price this watch is a steal if u just need a compass and a cool watch to have. Also the size of those numbers are big

That 10 second limit on the compass is questionable and could be a deal breaker for me

Gen 2 sensor watches were like that. Also the compass limit is 20 seconds.

    Hi Greg
How can we adjust the daylight saving time? And also what is the benefit of that? What is meaning that?
Thank you for great videos I have also more than 50 Casio watches 😊

I know you've said that you don't measure dimensions for watches, but it would be great if you could do that, because official Casio displays measures together with a crown, or at the widest point, which doesn't truly represent how watches look on the wrist. After all, it's not really a huge hassle to use calipers for about 30 seconds.

I bought a positive display model in 2013 from a jewellery store. $380AUD. Great watch though.

The best aspect of this watch is the 20Bar water resistance for a sub $100 watch with Casio reliability. The compass is kind of a hassle to use, with the 10-sec time-out. The thermometer needs the watch to be off your wrist for 30 minutes for an accurate reading. I just find these twin/triple/quadriple/sensor watches too gimicky. I have a Pro Trek, and to be honest, I bought it for the looks and for the solar/atomic features. Play around with the compass and thermometer once in awhile for fun. Never used the barometer and altimeter...too much hassle with the settings and what-not, and not reputed to be accurate anyway. If one is a really hardcore outdoorsman, I'm sure he would have separate barometer and altimeter devices anyway.

How you are able to negotiate all these functions on these watches just boggles my mind.

cool watch, but i think it would be much simpler to bring an actual compass :)
