Thanks! I used your tutorial and realized the belt was broken. I used a rubber band and this family tradition is working again!!! Thanks for the help!!
Great tutorial, I am trying to do as much as I can before I turn it over to my husband. I’ll let you know how it goes. I had same problem where the music played but no motion. It sounded like it was off a gear or belt. We shall see!
Check the gears for alignment and damage such as a crack or chipped tooth. Make sure the belt isn't to tight and lastly, clean and re-lubricate the gears with a PTFE grease. Normally excessive noise is caused by a damaged or dry gear, in some cases a tight belt make them noisy by putting excessive pressure on the drive gear off of the drive pulley.
Yes. Most of the ones I see are broke from normal long use (years) , improper stoppage (Stopping with your hands as an example) or stored where it gets hot (Such as here in Arizona)

I changed new belt on. It does work but with loud noise. Could you please figure it out? Thanks
Loud noise from the mechanism or the speaker?
@@RandomJunkChannelnot the speaker. Sounds like the mechanism. when the belt off, the noise is gone
