    unbelievable video thank you for the idea of black panels I redid my fencing this year and painted them all black for my family and neighbours thought I was going mad now they all love it but don't admit it of course... it the most important feature for the plants to really shine.

    Wow what a beautiful garden. Thank you for posting your progress. It was a good reminder to me when I sometimes get discouraged that a final vision is attainable. Sometimes when I plant it does not quite come out the way I envisioned it and needs a rethink sometimes it just needs more time to fill in. Thank you.

    ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW.!! IM LOVING YOUR TINY GARDEN TOURS... HOW CAN YOU SAY YOUR GARDEN IS SMALL.. I KNOW IM PARTIALLY SHIGHTED BUT MINE LITTLE SPACE IS ONLY 12FEET X SOMETHING... BUT ONLY ABOUT 3 FEET HAS DIRT ... BUT IM SLOWLY SLOWY GETTING THINGS SORTED AND WANTED TO ASK YOU FOR ADVICE, IM GOIN FOR THE TROPICAL FEEL BUT DONT WANT WHAT WE PUT IN , DROWN OUT THE SUN.. ITS SOUTH FACING.. WHAT THEN SHOULD BE AVOIDED ... MY PLANTS ARENT ALL IN THE DIRT AS LIKE YOU I GET BORED AND LOVE TO REARRANGE THINGS. INSIDE AND OUT... IM GOIN TO SPEND THE NEXT FEW HOURS WATCHING YR STUFF. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING AND THE MUSIC ON SUM IS LOVELY.......I ALSO HAVE WISTERIA BUT SMALL AT THE MO... THANX AGAIN

    I'm obsessed at looking at your pretty garden!
    I have tiny space at the front of my house under a canopy of 2 giant trees and gets very low filtered light. That means no flowering plants and not much else thrives except spathiphyllums...
    😕
    Wish I had a little more Sun...or even a little more space!

    • @phil3332
      @phil3332 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would start with a bamboo plant but to add other plants depends on the size of your balcony could add small elephant ears, if you like house plants grow tropical type plants then add them to the bamboo/balcony in the summer time....... it’s just a start but you have to start some to get it going- then add more as you go,,, I watch a lot of U-tube about tropical plants, also look on face-book “tropical”. Hope this helps..... Regards Philip

    • @PlantPorn
      @PlantPorn  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Where do you live? It all depends on climate and what aspect your balcony faces. If it’s shaded all the time thing like tree ferns and other shade loving plants and if it’s sunny then why not get some roses, clematis and a small palm tree :)

  • @bucksization

    realy lovely video , you did an amazing job from start, we never finish. im jjust wondering as i have a japanese banana plant and palms, just want to know if you had to bring any of the plants inside for winter or did yu wrap them? im partially sighted and tried flower garden before witha small little fountain, but it never looked any good, so now complaetly changed to jungle theme. any vids on layouts for your plot ? my little space isnt massive but holds corner settee which i covered in reeding and plastic for waterproofing. will put plants up there too. but will try and post mine if yout ell me how. good job all round.

      @PlantPorn  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      bucksization hey there! Sounds like you have good idea of what you’re like for your garden which is great! Tropical is a lot of fun and lots of tropical looking plants are actually very hardy. I only bring my houseplants back in for winter. I protect my bananas, tree ferns and gunnera with straw and fleece. I have loads of videos showing the layout of my garden and I’m starting to do commentaries on my tours to help people understand the structure and layout. If you click on my profile you should be able to find my videos! Happy gardening!
