Thanks Tim. I didn’t do anything in the garden this year due to work commitments but seeing this video again just shows me what it could look like again next year if I was to pull my finger out! 😅
This is probably the best really tropical looking UK garden in the spirit of designers like Dennis Hundscheidt in Brisbane. Many tropical gardens in Britain tend to look like exotic plant collections but you have managed to capture the feel of a real one. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I don’t think that I ever subscribed to a channel so quickly in all my life. Exquisite planting. The effect is stunning. Silent filming so we can hear the water and superb camerawork. I am in awe of your skills on every level.
Awesome footage capturing the beautiful alluring plants that entice your viewers to keep on watching, thanks for sharing this wonderful relaxing garden, stay safe always.
Beautiful garden, can you please do a talkthrough on this garden? I'm building a tropical garden in zone 8, I saw a lot of plants in your garden I do not recognize. Would love to learn more. Cheers.
So beautiful and serene, loved all the water features everywhere. I loved that you panned so slowly and from all angles gave us a good feel for the garden. A true Oasis.
MAN THIS IS SANCTUARY, ONE DAY I Will BUILD ONE FOR MY OWN PLEASURE AWAY FROM ANYTHING, I MEAN EVERY THING THANKS YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING US THIS WONDERFUL LITTLE CORNER OF YOUR WORLD,,,,, HUWAAAAA
Oh lord have mercy! What a heavenly garden! I started mine almost a year ago. It’s so costly that it’ll take me 3-5 years to have one like yours. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Vic, thank you for your comments!🙏 I started the garden in October 2009 so it was about 10 years old when this video was done. If you have a look at all my other videos they will show the progress made each year. Happy gardening!🌴🌴🌴
That is a beautiful garden! So much invested for the variety of plants there, wow. Even if from seedlings or from cuttings, a lot of time and money put into it. Great work, I love it.
I love your water features, amazing! No wonder your garden is so green with many varieties of plants that the wows and aahs cant stop from coming from my excitement. Lucky for you to create such restful place after a hectic day.
I get lost in how much space this Garden is taking up, as it seems to go on forever! It would be interesting to see some drone footage from above! It is truly stunning, the Dahlias are Perfection!
Absolute perfection. Really inspirational. I live at 1300 feet in Shropshire where even apple trees have a hard time growing so really enjoyed this video. Thank you!
franmol01 Thank you for your comments! I used the dahlias to give me height and colour when I first created the garden 10 years ago. They are like old friends now so I wouldn’t be without them. They remind me of just how far the garden has come in that time!
Abingdon Chiropractic Clinic Thank you for visiting! I’m not sure that I got to speak to you personally but I was told that you had visited. Pray for a mild winter and hopefully we will do it all again next year!😆
It's just a dream ...it doesn't come by planning or following ...it comes from with in . The way your garden made feel is something that can't be expressed in words. I wish you an abundance of happines and good health. Thanks so much for sharing your gem with us. I just have one question ...Could I plz know the measurements of your garden plot plzzzz🙏🙏
Wow, Steve, it looks fantastic 😍 It's me Donatas, I did text you on Twitter 🙂 Only your garden gave me inspiration to create my own tropical garden and I hope that some day my garden will look beautiful as yours!! I just keep watching and watching and not getting enough!!!! Well done!!
Oh hi there! Thanks for pushing me to do another video (and a few others😊) and good luck creating your garden. Thanks for your lovely words of encouragement 👍
Still my favourite exotic garden but I agree with Paul . I saw you on gardeners world earlier this year you were great so I know you are well able to talk.
3:25 on the right side of what I presume are Thalia's, what plant is that with the trunk that starts out sideways and then curves upward? Looks very cool
Hi Tim, it’s a very sickly Echium. I was giving it the benefit of the doubt but it eventually died. It had self seeded in that spot and it wasn’t really an ideal place for it.
Wow how beautiful and relaxing amazing!! just one question how do you water all of those plants I'm trying to build my own but I question how often do you water them also
Hi, brilliant garden.Could you please tell me what the plant is that's low down and has dark green leaves with bright yellow spots? Need to get me some of those, thanks . Will.
Yes I can see why you’d think it was a Pachypodium. I was dying to pull it out as I kept seeing it as an eyesore BUT knew that it would look spectacular if it decided to flower.
Very nice garden, a lots of plants ( we have the same plants), jungle effect. Just need to wait for taller plant. In 5/6 years your garden will be Amazing. Add some ricin, cheap, red and tall.
Wow, just an amazing garden. I’m just starting out on my tropical garden adventure and was wondering if anyone could recommend a tall (6 ft) plus tropical plant that likes full sun so I can create shade for plant beneath it ?
Absolutely great and fantastic! Love to see progress in your garden, lushness increased, I like the ratioo between the leaves and flowers thus I would say you made subtropical paradise garden! My favorites in your garden are Wollemie, Hedychium densiflorum, Eucomis pole-evensii, Scheffleras, huge Tetrapanax, definitely hardy Manihot, love to see Amicia zygomeris....I have two queston. That beautiful height blue-violet flowers - is it some Salvia? How hardy it in your garden? Second one, do you have Impatienses? I saw something like Impatiens arguta Alba, but not sure....
Hi Roman and thank you! Yes you’ve spotted a lot! It is a Salvia that you mentioned, it is Salvia ‘amistad’ it’s pretty hardy here and is left in the ground with a mulch if needed. There are a few hardy Impatiens around the garden but I can’t remember the names of all of them.
@@Springyfeller Thank you! Do you have Illiciums in your garden? If not I would really recommend I. Simonsii and I. floridanum, actually I. Heryi is also great. I like this gender, particularly love leaves aroma of I.floridanum - it is fantastic mixture of anise, conifer, pepper and tropical fruits "notes". Flowers are also very beautiful but have a bit strange "swampy" aroma.
Seeing an established garden like this, makes me impatient all over again 😆 What a feast for the eyes
Thanks Tim. I didn’t do anything in the garden this year due to work commitments but seeing this video again just shows me what it could look like again next year if I was to pull my finger out! 😅
There aren’t enough words to say how magnificent this is!!! Enjoyed every second!!

This Garden is beyond impressive for the U.K, I do Tropical Landscape in San Diego, and this could pass for a San Diego garden.
Absolutely stunning. Lovely to meet Steve today at Medley, which is also lovely and clearly influenced by Steve’s love of the tropical look.

This had to be immensely difficult to get these plants to live in that climate. Great job.
Just beautiful! Keep it up 👍🏻
Wonderful tropical paradise! What is the tree at Min. 0.50 ?
🙏 The The tree is Tetrapanax papyrifer ’Rex’
Gorgeous yard! Your Gingers are lovely. What is the plant name for the red flowers with yellow centers? It's so striking and pretty.

Красота красота красота!!!Браво садовнику!!!!
I LOVE this garden!!
Absolutely beautiful garden. Is that a Trachycarpus nova at 5:06 by chance? Or just a deeply divided and droopy fortunei?
Thank you for your comments. The palm is a Trachycarpus ‘naggie’. It’s a cross between
T. nanus and T. Wagnerianus (waggie)
Que belleza! 🌴🌾🌷
Me encanta! 😍
A beautiful garden.
Hi, very beautiful garden. At 0:35 of the video, the red flowers with the purple leaves, what’s the name of this plant? Thank you
orod harati Thank you for your comment. The plant is Dahlia ‘Bishop of Auckland’ I believe.🌺

Fabulous as always, Steve. I’m sure I heard chickens toward the end?
